CHAPTER 12 On Sunday evening Wayde, Tiny and the two young gay men met at the boat. They drove to the Jewel Box Club in Tiny’s well-used, green, four-door Ford Taurus. On the way over to the club, Wayde told Tiny about Sam Hirshberg’s wife, Sarah. Upon entering the club, Wayde held up a hundred-dollar bill to pay the twenty dollars per person cover charge, which included two, drinks each.
