CHAPTER 13 The next morning, Wayde was in his white boxer shorts shaving in front of the bathroom mirror. Yellowbird was chirping happily when the doorbell rang. Wayde went to the door and looked out the scope. Standing in front of the door was Lieutenant Kelly. Wayde unbolted and opened the door. “Good morning, Wayde. Mind if I come in?” Wayde stepped aside as the lieutenant entered. Closing door Wayde headed back toward the bathroom. “I understand you spent a couple of days at Matey Rhineman’s home in Nassau?” “You understand right, Lieutenant.” “Welcome back.” Wayde eyed the lieutenant’s reflection in the mirror.
