Heart of a Luna

My name is Maia and I am from the Crest-Moon pack. I am the only Daughter of my parent’s Alpha Lucious and Luna Celice. We were one of the largest packs within the UK stationed comfortably in Devon. I have two brothers Lukas and Nik both older and very protective. We lived a simple life until I hit 7 years old. What I have only known to be Rogues attacked our comfortable pack late one night shortly after my birthday. I cannot remember much other than flames, our pack warriors falling to dark hooded figures. What will always stay with me is hearing my father shout to my mother “RUN DAMN IT TAKE HER AND RUN” – I vividly still see bushes and trees breaking and rustling, my feet going so fast and my mother breathing so heavily telling me to go faster. We reached cliff tops with a small cove and she buried me in there quickly. “Promise me you’ll stay quiet?” said Celice. “I promise Mummy” I replied. She kissed me on the forehead before leaving. I heard her cry out but I stayed quiet and still just as I promised. That was the last time I ever saw my family or pack again… I’m never quite sure how long I stayed for but I remember being too afraid to leave. I couldn’t travel to other packs, I wouldn’t even know if I would find an ally or rogue. I spent a few days starving but following a road to another town just outside of Devon. I couldn’t starve any longer my stomach was burning and swallowing itself so I found a cabin and that’s where I found my second Family with Samantha, Rick and their daughter Alissa.
