Tessa gripped the paper as she read through the paper. When she saw the words her eyes were filled with tears. "I'm happy for you, ma'am. You're two weeks pregnant." The doctor said happily. She had waited for this moment for a long while now. This was the only way to save her marriage and she had been taunted about this for a whole three years. Henry Taylor was her husband and she knew he loved her but couldn't help feeling angry that she couldn't give him a child for three years. His mother and sister had made life unbearable for her by introducing her husband to many ladies in order to replace her. Three years ago, Henry's sister had always talked to her sweetly and told her how much she admired her. Henry's mother was the same person always advising Henry to be very kind to her when they got married. But just last week she had brought someone home. She could tell what was going on. She knew he had slept with the lady but she was glad when I heard him tell his mom he already has a woman. She felt the woman he talked about was her. "Congratulations you're pregnant. Mr Henry will be overjoyed." The doctor's smile widened. "Thank you, Doctor Linda. I need to go home now." She smiled at the nurse who modded her head as she returned the smile. Linda had been her doctor for the past three years and knew how much she craved a child after the pressure from Henry's family came. She looked at her with love in her eyes and hugged her again. "I told you not to fret. It will come." She whispered as she kissed my cheeks. "I'm so happy. I have to go now." Tessa said with glee and tears in her eyes. She was too eager to break the news to Henry. She wanted to see his reaction so badly, what would he do? she wondered. "I understand but remember to come back for the antenatal orientation tomorrow…" she said but before she could complete her sentence. Tessa hurried out on her heels, "I'll text you!" She called out. Tessa drove straight back home and pushed open the door. It was surprisingly open. Henry shouldn't be home now she thought. She had rushed home to wait for him to come back and break the news to him but it was surprising he was here before her but it didn't matter she just had to let him know. She pushed open the door and her jaw dropped. She looked at her husband on the bed with another lady. He was making her moan and call out his name and she instantly recognized the voice, Elena! "Elena! Henry!" She screamed and they both stopped to look up at her. Elena, disengaged from Henry immediately she saw Tessa but Henry held her so she pulled the duvet up to cover her chest as she put her face on Henry's chest. Elena was her best friend for three years! She had met her at Henry's birthday party just right after their marriage. It suddenly hit her, if she had met her at Henry's birthday party then it was possible he had known her before. Tessa had taken a liking to her and invited her to take a position as a manager in the company but now she also took her position as Henry's wife. She began to sob as her knees grew weak. The pregnancy didn't matter again, she now knew for certain that he doesn't love her at all. He looked up at her with eyes that were filled with anger. He rubbed on Elena's hair. "I'm sorry Henry, it's my fault. I should leave and not come back." Elena began to sob. Tessa was shocked as she watched Elena play victim. "I love you so much and I'm pregnant for you. Tessa will fire me since she has seen us and I'll have no money to take care of myself and the baby." She rubbed Henry's chest. Tessa was shocked as she stared at Elena. "They have been doing this behind my back for so long?" She muttered with heavy breaths. Henry's eyes seemed to light up. "You're pregnant for me! Since when?" He lifted her chin and looked into Elena's eyes. Tessa stood there bewildered, she should be the one being comforted. But now it was Elena instead. "Elena! How could you do this to me? I'm your bestie!" Tessa yelled at her but she only buried her head in Henry's chest and didn't look up at her. "You don't yell at my woman!" Henry shouted at her, making her cower back in fear. He continued stroking her head as he looked at Tessa with anger. "Now leave us. We're busy!" He pointed to the door. Tears poured down her eyes and she weakly walked out as she watched them cuddle again from the corner of her eyes. When she closed the door against them. She rushed into the opposite room leaving her own best friend in her matrimonial bed with another man. She didn't know why she didn't yell at them that she was pregnant too. She was too broken to say anything with the realization that when Henry said he had a woman already he was not referring to her. "I'll just have to shock them by showing them my pregnancy results!" She said as she looked through her handbag. "It isn't here? Looks like I forgot it in a hurry." She ran a hand through her hair as she fell on the bed and pulled the duvet over her head. She cuddled herself with pillows trying to stop the moans from getting into her ears. "Tomorrow, I'll get the pregnancy results and slam it to his face." She said with gritted teeths. "I love you Henry!" She heard Elena scream at the top of her voice before bursting into laughter. She was a bit relieved they had ended it and drifted to sleep. But again in the middle of the night she woke up to Elena's loud moans. "Elena, how could you betray me?" She muttered she couldn't cry anymore. Her eyes were already so red from not sleeping and crying. In the morning she had already prepared quickly to leave the house and head to the office. She was heading to the front door with her car keys in her hands when she heard someone behind her. "Stop there." A cold voice said. Tessa turned back to look at Henry standing there in his briefs with a bare chest and messy hair. His brown eyes looked so sexy and she couldn't deny the fact that his handsome face and sculpted and muscular physique. She was lost in his eyes as she froze for a second. Elena came right after, she was wearing her nighties. Tessa was more furious, she had even slept with her husband wearing her own nighties? "Where are you going Tessa?" He asked. "To my office." She replied quickly. She just wanted to hurry and get back to the hospital to retrieve the pregnancy results. This couldn't get any worse. But his next words shocked her. She didn't believe her ears. "Tessa, I think you should step down and let Elena take up the position as the CEO." He said. Tessa turned back to see Elena grinning behind Henry. Her jaw dropped in surprise.
