A shadow came to love me

A wild eye look ,a weird smile and grumpy attitude this is me ,Anna .The most suspicious one in my whole campus. Most of them say I'm a bit crazy when I get into my club activity zone I can't say it's just a hobby or inspiration as my other classes but it's way deeper than those expected subjects. The members of my club are called the hyenas, our club researches the invisible world which normal human eyes can't see or even imagine. Three team members for the information , two members for investigation, that is me and my best friend drake. The cases we handle are unknown to the others and to our parents it's just a video game , we do what we love to do and speaking of game ,I have been on my hunts for this past few days in the deep forest ,some days I have gone alone at night seeking for the clues. when I get a piece of evidence it disappears at sunrise so many unanswered confusions rising within ,as a human I have to get my day right so I have my cute friend jenny who helps me from all distress when I get my dayoff. I don't have a lot of friends to talk with but I have the loyal courageous people beside me. I kinda take insane path without taking a break and searching for lightning facts that led me to realize new meaning for my life. Sometimes I get the feel being like Sherlock homes ,sort of some spy or a agent working for the government but no-one cares for the silly stuff ,in all seriousness the people in this world are living like that. If there is a sign ,no-one sees and if there is a warning, no-one listens. Some people among us don't know who they are meant to be , their role comes last in seeking or comes first as a seeker. As I was saying , there are lot of reports and daily statements that comes in to get solved but till this day there is one case that always remains and some cases are even connected to this mystery case but we call it "the hanging shadows" they are the most wanted creatures and the highest species among earthlings. The facts are more than a thousand ,it's about their killing skills and how they have despised the people who betrayed them and how much love given to the people who think they are born for good will. Thus the case was getting weirder and tough for us to handle this alone. As students, no-one comes forward to support our hard work but I never stop researching them. Finally one day, the chosen trusted people who called themselves as "the engraved men"came forward and asked us to solve the mystery case and if we did, they guaranteed they would support our club researches and pay for the daily supplements. The excitement I felt was seen in everyone's eyes in my club. This was a great opportunity to show our best beliefs to the whole world. It seems that the case is too hard so they gave a note that said ," we can't guarantee your live safety". I didn't mind that note at all rather I was jumping up and down saying," ohh my God!, I can't believe this is happening ".drake smiled at me and said ," we can do this! we will finish this case no matter what ". We where so ready for this because we are into this case for so long that it lead to our hopes that the world would see the unknown one day. At noon , I went with drake to eat in the cafeteria ,sitting near the huge wooden dwarf , thinking what other ways to solve the case. Suddenly, jenny popped up with excitement from behind (as usual) giving a big hug and sat beside me . Jenny talks like a nonstop ticker without a break but somehow we feel relieved and stress-free when we have our laughs together ,whenever she comes she always talks about her strict art professor , Ms.Kathy, who looks like a gangster with a male look. Jenny is not a very brilliant student but she has deep understanding with art and history behind it. seeing that Ms.Kathy started to give her lessons in private to get her more involved with the topics and history related to arts . After a few months, Ms.Kathy took most of her time trying to teach her more and more unique ways of learning art but whenever jenny gets her free time she comes to us and complains about Ms.kathy and laughs. I started to think jenny admires her more as the days goes by. As we were talking Ms.Kathy came with a mad look on her face and started yelling jenny like ," I was trying to find you for 15mins !time for class, come quick!". I know that they are just student and professor but in my opinion ,this is going somewhere else because no-one will get mad at someone for searching them for 15mins at breaktime and to be honest , jenny is cute ,delicate and fun to be with at all times so both genders care for her and help her more so who knows what's going to happen. After the break we all went for our duties but I had no class in the noon hrs and drake went to search the files in the city-centre to take some reports for the case and jenny went on her way with Ms.kathy. At the time, Being alone was never too hard for me but sometimes I can't resist the surrounding taking control over my mind so I came out for a walk ( the best way to get relief from all the stress around you is by walking alone in the park ) in a few days the weather will change so I have be ready for anything to continue the case . There are many investigations I have handled well but thinking back, the weirdest one of all is that when I went to "flowers broom" (its prostitutes wandering area )like an uncover agent ,going through the back door to sneak-in and dressed like one of them.(present thinking)I had so much confidence back then. If I think about all the fighting and the action happen that day good thing I learned to fight well enough to defeat a giant guy.( coming back to the past storyline) as I was hiding in one of the rooms that was far away from the main street. Suddenly the door opened , the sound echoed through my back. Shivering, i couldn't hold back seeing who it was. A tall and freaky looking guy (but with a nice jawline) rushing inside and someone from the window told him to wait till the police have gone. I was thinking maybe he's a criminal but he doesn't look like a bad guy for someone whose suit is like a gentle freak. With all patience, he was walking around the room and suddenly he stopped and said " your smell is very nice and sweet. Come out ,I won't bite you ". The voice sounds like the feathers touching my ears softly. I came out with caution and curiosity about what is going on with this guy. Then he said, " I have to kill u because u saw my face ". With one blow he made my breath stop for a while and I looked at him thinking this was the guy I thought that is being gentle and voice like soft feathers ,his looks aren't bad but he's a criminal " ahh ,I hate myself " and after that , I said " that's unexpected but if you plan on killing me then you have to fight me first and win. If you win ,kill me and if I win then you have to let me live, it's a deal ". The tall guy laughed and then said yes to my condition.( back to the real story) if I didn't win that match I would have died that day but the tall guy really keeps his promises. I already kept a good name for him " the fake gentleman" it's too long but very simple to remember. This case was very funny if I think now, I can never let go of this memories because they are a part of me now and ever since the big fight drake never let's me go alone through any kind of case that involved murders ,as time gone by he became my partner for cases that involved murders. As I was thinking ,I slept as the wind blown very warm that I could feel it all throughout my body. Few hours later, I felt someone touching my hair ,my eyes. I tried so hard to wake my eyes suddenly I felt a breeze kissed my eyes gently, the breath I felt came slowly down to my lips and pressed my lips with a soft touch. The nerves of mine were starting to get weaker and weaker as the breath forced on me more and more. At the sudden release, I woke up as I was out of breath and no-one was there near me and I saw the time, it was already late to my class but then I remembered that professor Stephen is sick so I came back to the park again ,to see what happened when I was sleeping so i checked the security cam, I really began to sweat in fear because there's no-one there in the video records. Then I calm myself down saying maybe it's just a dream that was realistic and its not real. Drake came, asking what happened why I'm looking pale and I ended up saying, “nothing it was just the wind ,it's too cold for me”. Drake gave me his jacket that he was wearing ,I always love his jacket because it smells so good and it's pink colour. He always wears pink clothes and jackets , it's so cute for him but I'll never say it's not a colour usually one should wear but it will get dirty easily. So I wash the pink jackets and turtleneck shirts for him because he never asks for help so I do these things without letting him know and I feel little better knowing that I helped him ,I couldn't stop myself from helping him because he helped me more than ever in the past and I own him a life and of course ,he's my best friend. I smiled at him after he gave his jacket to me and then we got to the library, sat in a corner and started our research regarding the case. After some days , we got on a cab to jenny s birthday at midnight. we would never go to any special events so we just celebrate our birthdays special ,on the way we wanted to buy pink roses for her so we dropped at "flower's gate" ,drake went in to buy some flowers I was standing outside near the window seeing the beautiful blossoms glowing and looks like pink cotton pillow. Suddenly ,my eyes went dark and my hearing was starting to get weaker and painful . At the end , I fainted because of the unbearable pain my hands were starting to shiver then suddenly I can feel someone is holding my hands together and saying " trust me ,I m here for u". This voice was like whispers from the top of my head and I felt someone lifting me up from the ground , it was like a warm breeze that hugged me, comforted me gently. I laid my head without any thinking, it went blank. The peace and joy in my heart cannot be explained , I again felt that passionate kiss in my forehead. I smiled as I closed my eyes and started to sleep without realizing that it is a unusual situation for me ,after a few hrs I opened my drowsy eyes, I was in my bed and the TV was on. I slowly got up and went to bath and started to cook my meal as I was starting to get hungry then I remembered I totally forgot about Jenny's birthday ,I quickly took my phone and saw so many missed calls from drake and jenny ,they will be so worried if I didn't take even one of my calls. Suddenly I heard the door bell ring , i looked out from the front door hole, it was drake looking worried and jenny who is crying like crazy. when I opened the door they both hugged me and cried,drake started yelling and saying it was his fault and jenny started to cry again and again. After a few love storms, I said " guys , I fainted and someone took me home that's all". Drake said " u missed so much today and ms.Kathy came today and wished jenny, after we informed the police that u went missing Ms. Kathy comforted her more than her mother used to do ". Well ,I have to say that whatever I was thinking maybe it'll become true . Jenny is gonna be settling in the future with more love and care , I smirked as I was thinking. After that we prepared the food together and played some games , saw a documentary and slept in the hall. Jenny has a weird habit of sleep talking, I really like this habit of hers because she looks so cute when she talks in her sleep. As we were sleeping jenny got up and shouted much high that me and drake woke up from the shock. Jenny was pointing at something like she was complaining to her mom. " Don't ever touch my porridge u streaky boy , mom! take this lunatic outside ". we laughed and were trying to settle her down to sleep then we all slept together singing Jenny's birthday song. In the morning, we sat down to have our breakfast suddenly jenny jumped up from the chair and said today is her presentation day with Ms.Kathy and a exam at noon so she rushed eating the eggs and drank the milk without sugar (guys don’t rush your breakfast). Me and drake saw her running from the front window and we waved our hands screaming " all the best!" to send her off with wisdom , she ran like her life is dangerously threatened from another world but in a cute way. After eating a peaceful breakfast ,we sat down to continue our case details with the murders happened at ghost mount. Drake viewed the files that were so creepy to see but we created a new way to categorize the files. We did creepy, non creepy ,murder, non murder, good one and bad one files and we separated them and kept it safe in my room secret locker. Then drake went off to take some evidence file from the search group and I was hearing the recorded sounds of the "hanging shadows ". There was no sign of violence, talking or something demonic it sounds like a bunch of bees buzzing and in the middle ,it was like someone is vacuuming so fast on the ground ( so unpleasant) then I was hearing the last record ,it started playing by itself when I touched it and this time I heard someone was talking . " Don't come here dear please... " ,it repeated again and again then when the tape was about to end I felt a breeze through my neck. I turned back to look but noone was there and all the windows were closed. Suddenly a bag fell from the couch like it was been pushed from something behind so I went close to see what bag it was. It was Jenny's bag ," omg !, she forgot her bag she has exam today ". I took a cab and went to her exam hall as fast as I could but then when I entered the hall, jenny was writing the exam so I went out to wait for her ,after a while she came with a smile on her face . My thinking that time was all, " did she do good ?" , " is she faking that smile? ". Jenny hugged me and said " it's alright ,Ms.Kathy gave me the books to study so don’t worry ". The sign of relief I had was really began to show more after hearing her say she did good . After that we went to our favourite cool looking Cafe named "blackberries " here the staffs always cover their faces and never speak to the customers. They use the technology to talk, the customers choose their favourite drink , snacks ,meals or anything that is tasty more than the other restaurants. We ordered our shacks and drinks and we sat down near by where the big blue flowers have been kept for children who visit the Cafe and we love to see who gets the biggest one among ,because there is a special blue flower that is huge and sparkles all the time. We were so excited to know who will get that special flower today . After a while, a waiter came to us saying " could u two come with me please ,the chef is calling you " . With a little bit of anxiety we followed him and saw the chef waiting for us . We both stood in the entrance when we saw the whole working waiters and cleaning staff where standing there like we were from some kind of royal family. They gave us chairs to sit and flavoursome cake .We were thinking if they ask to pay for this where would we go ,should we run for it but they treated us with grace and manners so I believe they won't do anything to us . suddenly the main chef took the big blue flower which was sparkling and gave it to me but I gave the flower to jenny , she always wanted one of those . When we came out of the Cafe, the staffs all bowed and left . we came to drake's house and told everything about what happened in that Cafe ,he laughed and said " it's impossible " we looked at him with cringe faces ,after that drake called his mom and said he was going to his friends house to have a sleepover, then we all came to Jenny's house because there's lots of space in all the rooms and a big TV but there is one room which always scares us . Its the magic room there are lots of dolls with all sizes and also there is a doll just like from the movie " Annabelle" .So creeped out right now ,going far away from that magic doll room is safe for us to sleep. we ate and after finishing my report we all went to sleep .( few hours later)“Anna! Wake up Anna! wake up " jenny woke me up in the middle of the night and said drake is gone . I asked " was he hungry or thirsty if he was,there is no surprise that he went out at night ". whenever drake gets hungry he goes out to buy fast food because he gets his weird cravings more in night time. After some time ,drake came with three packed fried chicken and burgers for the three of us .I was full after eating so much I went to sleep while jenny and drake were talking about art stuff. suddenly a big wind blow went through my head from behind then I woke up with a headrush, with my drowsy eyes I went to brush my teeth wondering what was that sudden wind about ,so after my bath I went outside to check whether any window is broken or something came in. when I checked the hall window from outside I saw the window was broken in the middle hall so I called drake to check ,there is nothing stolen from the house so drake asked the neighbours if they knew who did this but they informed that all the windows in this neighborhood is getting broken by someone , it seems that they have informed the cops too but they couldn't find anything. what could it be ? is it the wind ? as I closed the door " no escape to give love " written in black sand. to be continued.....
