Chapter- 20

20. "Everybody has an addiction and mine is thinking about you!"

In the middle of the tutoring session, Roshini noticed her phone was ringing. It was Nidhi calling her.

She hangs up the call since she was teaching an important problem.

After asking an excuse from Shiva and Lakshmi Roshini came out of the room and phoned her back.

"Hey, have you reached home?" Roshini anxiously asked that question first.

"Yeah, I am at home," hearing that Roshini sighed in a relief. She was so worried about this since yesterday. Now her heart calmed to hear that everything was fine.

"Okay Nidhar, we will meet tomorrow at the park," Roshini said before ending the call.

She smiled lightly out of relief and lifted her head up to see the long corridor. She knows Siddharth room was at the end. What might be he is doing now? She thought squinting her eyes.

When she was gazing, Siddharth suddenly came out of his room. She was taken aback to see him staring straight at her. She wants to turn and run away but with no way of escaping she stood like glued on the floor.

She felt It is not a right thing to walk away like he didn't exist here. At least a hi and few greeting words doesn't going to affect me right was the thought that Roshini has all the time, not only with Siddharth to whoever she knows, even she greet or at least smile at her enemy if they happen to come face to face. Roshini was grown this way, it is one of the many good qualities which her mom taught to her.

And added to that Siddharth noticed her right away he came out of his room so now she can't avoid him.

By grinning, Siddharth came forward. He was wearing glasses newly! which even more complimented his killer looks and he looked somewhat tired. His hair was messy and his eyes were very dull.

"Hi," he raised his hand.

"Finished tutoring?" he questioned and stood before her leaving a decent gap between them.

"No, I came out to make a call," she replied.

"To who?" he added a question that literally surprised her.

"Nidhi," she said showing her surprise.

"Why she called you?" he again added a question.

"Ah... She came back home so for informing that she called and we are going to meet tomorrow."

"Where?" Siddharth questioned smiling and that easily affected her sanity.

"In the nearby park," Roshini answered like an obedient wife answering to her husband's question.

"Oh," telling that Siddharth walked down. He is truly enjoying this and it was evident from the grin he had before leaving.

Nowadays their conversation is getting more informal. Before Roshini will talk with him in a little-hesitated tone and fear but now that hesitation was all gone.

How this all changed suddenly?

What happened to him? Why he is looking like a zombie!! And why he is questioning me like he is my real boyfriend.

Why?????

With so many confusions, she again went in.

Siddharth turned so different nowadays. He is interrogating her like he wants to know everything, he even asks her what she ate in the morning.

And he knows about Nidhi's secret trip and Roshini fear about maintaining that lie and everything!

These past few days were like Siddharth unexpectedly popping into the study room and trying to get her attention and in one day he totally stayed there.

Roshini first thought it is nothing but she eventually understood there is some change in him when she realizes this growing closeness and his advances over her.

Sometimes it feels like they were actually in a relationship.

But Roshini likes all this secretly she is deceiving herself and her feeling. She is slowly losing her self-control, and she forgot about the barriers that she wanted built to avoid herself falling in this uncontrollable love on him. Totally Her heart turned her prone to Siddharth fever.

At the end of tuition, Roshini reminded them to learn for a maths test that is on Monday. Siddharth siblings are also smart like him. They easily catch the points that Roshini wanted to teach so that is very much easy for her.

She came out and went down and there Siddharth was standing before the house and drinking something.

She smiled lightly before walking towards him. No one knows how much she is feeling inside at that few seconds while nearing him, her adrenaline rushing and her legs were not the floor.

It felt like Siddharth was her prince charming waiting at the doorstep. But here the prince charming was in his sweatpants and T-shirt along with a coffee mug instead of wearing attractive clothes and with a horse.

But it is okay he looking handsome in this, Roshini thought and grinned mentally.

"Why you are drinking coffee at this time?"

"It is not coffee, protein drink," he answered.

"Oh!"

Roshini wanted to ask this to him since it is so tough to keep mum.

"Why you are looking tired?" she asked and the next moment she regrets asking that.

"Yeah, I am developing a software and because of that I didn't get enough sleep yesterday," he replied and smiled.

"Tomorrow, I will show you that," he added and Roshini was on cloud nine to hear that.

"Tomorrow is Sunday I won't come here." Siddharth smile faded away to hear that from Roshini.

But soon he faked a smile on his face to show everything was normal. But the discomfort he felt at that moment remained the same until she left his house.

He intently gazed at her leaving the house and when she was out of his sight he sighed deeply and went inside.

They don't know by which thing they were influenced. It is not that thing, he is just my crush and I won't cross my limits- Roshini was so stubborn to change her opinion even though she has fallen head over heels to Siddharth.

She is just my friends who know little more about me than anyone else was Siddharth's thought whereas he deceiving himself the fact that he is slowly falling for her.

Love will turn you into a fool, you will trick your own feelings and allow it to grow tremendously, it will be exciting to experience those and finally, when it has become irresistible you will be a crazy freak who can't able to forget and move out of those emotions.

When she gets home, Roshini headed straight to her room and laid on her bed. The way he looked at her gave shivers down her spine. She bites her lower lip hard to control this stimulated feelings.

Nidhi woke up the next morning with cold, but she felt no tired in her body. She came out of her room and her mom was busy preparing the breakfast and his dad was water washing his car.

"Mom..." she whispered rubbing her nose.

Her mom touched her forehead whether she is having a fever but thankfully her temperature is normal. Giving a glass of ginger tea Nidhi mom asked her to take rest today.

She came out of the house and watched his dad cleaning the car by sipping her hot tea.

"Nidhi don't you feel bored to sit simply in the house, why don't you go out and enjoy the day," he asked.

"That is why I went out yesterday and now I got cold," she sneezed suddenly.

"Cold?" hearing her hoarse voice Nidhi's dad came near her and checked whether she is having a fever just like her mom did.

"Shall we go to the hospital?"

"No dad, I am fine," she told sniffing.

When they were talking Varun opened his gate and came out on his bike. He stopped and looked Nidhi and she gazed back at him.

Nidhi's dad noticed them staring at each other and cleared this ambiance by asking Nidhi to go inside.

After she gone, her dad looked Varun with a glaring expression. It is evident that he doesn't like Varun.

Varun didn't care about anything and he also kept his face in equal fierce while starting his bike.

"Where are you Roshan, I am in the park," Nidhi gritted after waiting for more than fifteen minutes.

"Hey I came inside the park and I saw you," Roshini replied.

Nidhi turned her head to find Roshini, she smiled brightly at her.

"Hey, how was your trip," Roshini asked while coming to Nidhi.

"Hmm fine but I caught a cold."

"Just cold right? You enjoyed this trip that is main matter," Roshini said.

"Hmm yes, I enjoyed a lot Roshan, and here I bought this for you," she gave the sling bag to her.

"Hey, why you bought this? No Nidhar I don't want." Roshini hesitated to take the bag.

"how can I buy nothing for my best friend, don't hesitate and take this," Nidhi dropped the bag on Roshini's lap and she accepted that half-heartedly.

Roshini then told about Siddharth's change in attitude. She told whatever she is having in her heart to Nidhi.

"Look Roshini, I strongly believe that he is having feelings for you. And to say a truth I have noticed several times Siddharth secretly staring at you. So my conclusion he is having a crush on you just like how you have on him."

"Really?"

"Yeah, but I haven't told this to you,"

"Why??"

"Because I am not sure."

"Roshini trust me, I am feeling there is something in him." Nidhi finally told this

"But how can I confirm that you see I can't build false hopes."

"Okay, let's do this from now on or ask yourself these question. In this passed days of tutoring session did he ever missed any day to meet you?"

Roshini thought for a second she obviously knows the answer is no, Siddharth never missed to see her.

"Then if he has feelings for you, he will always so interested in your business. Did he?"

Roshini was stunned to know that. Because since he is so interested in what she is doing.

"And finally if he likes you then he will grin widely whenever he see your face."

Oh, my god everything confirming her doubts.

"But Nidhi I need a proper protocol to confirm this," Roshini asked still not satisfied.

"Okay try this, ask him directly," Nidhi chuckled.

"Hey!" Roshini glared for her joke.

"Sorry, let's try on this if you go Monday don't talk with him like how you usually do. Avoid him and never turn to his side, Roshan. If he really has feelings for you then he will chase after you and will try anything to talk to you. If he didn't care about your silence much then he doesn't having anything that we were thinking, okay?"

"Hmm okay, experience talking here," Roshini chuckled.

"Yeah, do you know how many times I avoided Varun, you don't know how he will react. He will glare at me like I am a criminal. So let us see what is going to happen in your case."

"Let us see!" Roshini nodded her head and mentally got ready for this experiment.
