27. "Expected things happen at unexpected times!" "I want to tell you this?" clearing the awkward silence Siddharth gazed Roshini who is sitting on the bench and staring back at him blankly with a calmness in her face and drained eyes. The chill wind gave unknown confidence to Siddharth. It felt like the wind encouraging him to open up his feelings. At this very moment, he wanted to open up his heart where she is innocently looking at him. He couldn't help but desire this girl who is drowning him in the love. Perhaps is it too much to wish? He asked this question but now he needs to clear the misunderstanding that is bothering him indefinitely. "Did I do anything wrong, what is your problem? Look what I told on that day was seriously came from my heart so don't think that I am...." "I know!" Roshini stopped him from understanding what he has taken this entire situation for, he is blaming himself. "The mistake is on me, you did nothing wrong." "Then what happened to you? Why are you lying? Hiding?" "That is... I felt awkward wearing this saree, so I decided to remain anonymous for this entire day," Roshini said looking down. "But you were like this for the entire week!" he snapped. Oh god why he is interrogating me like I am a criminal!! Roshini gripped her hand and gulped before answering. "Because I... sometimes... blindly started believing these are all real this relationship and everything, I am afraid whether I will get used to something that won't even last in my life," she is very careful in putting her words that in no place the word love, like or anything kind of word that reveals that she is love. Siddharth couldn't get anything to say for her reason, he can understand her heart. She is afraid whether she will fall in love that is what she is trying to say, he thought but doesn't know she is already fallen deeply in love with him. "So this is your reason for avoiding me. Listen Roshini, in my heart, you are not just a friend. I am having feelings for you... that is.... more like a love!" he confessed without controlling himself. Hearing that Roshini mentally sighed, she knew he will say this at the end. Love! What I am going to do with the thing which will never be going to work out between me and you, she thought. Before knowing about Siddharth she had a great crush on him and wished to get his love, after knowing about him she ended up falling in love at the same time she came to know this love is not an easy thing to be cherished when she clearly learned about him and his family. "Don't say that word, it is really big to handle," she told disappointing Siddharth. "Yes I know, but you know what hiding this from you the most difficult thing for me to handle." Roshini gritted her teeth and her eyes again welled with tears. She can't compromise herself by his words. "So what you want me to do?" she asked looking him in a worn out tone. Siddharth came to her and sat beside Roshini. "Don't do this again Roshini, I want you, this friendship and..." he stopped himself before telling that word. "Like I said it so displeasing me without talking to you when you are near Me." he sighed telling that. "I won't do that, if I hurt you in any way please forgive me," Roshini instantly apologized. She doesn't want to take another round of arguments. But in this conversation, Roshini understood that Siddharth was in love with her. They turned to face the playground, feeling the awkwardness Siddharth again turned to her. "Why you are wearing saree today?" hearing that Roshini smiled. "That is... Nidhi was going to meet her boyfriend today, who is coming from Delhi after finishing his work. He wanted Nidhi to wear a saree. Don't you see her today she is also wearing saree." "No, I didn't," how can I notice someone when you are this beautiful before me, he thought. "So she compelled me to wear the same," she told and blushed. "Oh..." he smirked mentally thanking Nidhi for doing this. "Her boyfriend is a lawyer?" he questioned. "Yeah, he is really a nice person. I heard he won't charge for poor people. Now he went to Delhi to work along with lawyer Hari Prasad." "That's great!" "Hmm," she hummed nodding her head. "From Monday onwards my aunt will be back for tutoring. I won't come here after."  Siddharth can't imagine that feeling. "Okay!" was the simple word he said and stood up. "Then shall we go now?" he asked. "Hmm," she hummed in an acceptance and smiled. I am going to live this life for one just time then Why I have to afraid after coming to this stage...  I love him I have to confess that to him... Roshini decided. *** "Varun, you haven't told anything about this saree." "Hmm nice," he said sipping his juice. They were on the hotel, Nidhi ordered Parotta and Varun ordered Biryani for him. "That's all," she frowned. "Yeah, eat first without talking," he said controlling his smile. His gaze was only on her, the way she chewing her food, the way she gulping and her lips everything was such an incredible sight for him. She doesn't know how Varun felt to see her in the saree that is perfectly draped on her body. "Here have some," she told and took a piece of Parotta and shoved near his lips. Varun smirking gladly took the bite. The hotel was not crowded and everyone was busy in their own world. "Did you told about our love to your mom," she asked. "Oh yes," "When?" "Today afternoon," "What she said, how was her reaction?" Nidhi asked in a dread. "As expected she is pissed off and scolded me for being a disobedient kid." He told putting some biryani on Nidhi's plate. "Then," she asked in a shock. "I think now she must have told my father this information." "Oh my god, will they come and talk with me. Will they fight with my parents?" she cringed in fear. "Maybe," Varun chuckled. "You are laughing?" "Then what can I do?" he asked. "We are in danger," she exclaimed "Hey, stop! Don't think about anything and eat now," he retorted. She had her food in a silence and Varun watched her till she finishes it. Washing her hand Nidhi took her bag and headed out. Varun after paying the bill started his bike. When they reached their street Nidhi remained in the same shock. "Nidhu..." he called put her name very gently. "I am with you and be ready for whatever the things going to happen after this," he told gripping her hand. "But Varun..." "Please don't cry for anything and don't be afraid. Everything will be alright once you are clear in your decision," she said caressing her cheeks. His words gave unknown confidence to Nidhi. She nodded her head and smiled holding his hand. Perhaps today was Nidhi's bad time or something, her dad noticed the entire scene from afar. He was shocked to see her with him. When they moved in separate ways, Nidhi's dad started his car again and headed to his house. His face was stern and his eyes reflected anger.  But he controlled everything and remained calm before his daughter. Nidhi came out of her room changing her dress. Her smiling face and gestures indicated that she in love. Nidhi's dad couldn't accept the fact that his daughter was loving someone who is outrageous and added to that he is a Tamil guy. "Dad, do you want coffee, mom asked." "No, ask your mom to come here," his tone scared Nidhi. Hearing him Nidhi's mom came out of the kitchen. "Do you know, our daughter is loving that guy Varun, am I right Nidhi?" he told and Nidhi finalized that she is going to die today. Her mom was confused first and looked at her daughter's fear-filled face. "Is it true?" her mom asked moving to her. Her silence confirmed the answer is yes. She didn't wait for a single second and gave a tight slap on her face....
