Samantha on the other hand saw the entire scene. And right now, her heart was tightening. She felt pain as without knowing it, tears were falling on her cheeks. The scene she saw earlier appeared to be so familiar. It was as if it happened to her in the past. But she didn't remember anything about it as it seemed like it didn't really happen to her. Samantha was confused. Her feelings were complicated. She couldn't understand why was this happening to her or why was she seeing this. She also felt that there were many missing pieces of memories in her mind as it only made her feel even more complicated. However, Samantha didn't have the time to think about it when everything around her suddenly changed. The dimly crimson hue in the surroundings was now gone as the room turned back to normal. But the man from before and the woman who died weren't there anymore as only the young girl was there standing in the same place and the same position. She was still looking at the place where her mother died in her hands. It was evident that she was reminiscing about the past where she was still together with her mother. The young girl only stood there without moving. The sun set, the sun rises, the scene kept changing many times and the young girl only stood there. Until finally, a man entered the room. It was her father who had just come. He walked towards the little girl and went beside her. He too looked at the place where his wife had died. “I'm going now.” The man said in a calm voice. The little girl shifted her gaze at her father as she replied, “You're leaving again?” “It can't be helped. It's too important.” The man responded. “More important than me?” The little girl asked. “...” The man couldn't reply to her as he turned to look at her. After which, he went in front of her and crouched down. He held her shoulders and stared fixedly into her eyes as he finally spoke, “This is for the safety of the Palace. So naturally, this is for you as well.” “...” The little kid didn't reply as she only stared at her father with an expressionless emotion. That was what her father always say every time he left the Palace. But she couldn't understand why he needed to leave if he must protect their family and the Palace. Seeing her daughter, the man smiled warmly. He held her cheeks lightly as he said, “You will naturally understand it soon. You are a promising daughter and very smart, it won't take long before you understand everything you want to know.” The little girl nodded her head lightly. She didn't say any more words and only stared at her father. The man then hugged the little girl. The smile remained on his lips for a moment before he said, “You've been in hard times these days, don't forget to smile.” He then released her from his arms as he continued, “Or do you want your mother to be sad?” “...” The little girl didn't reply as he still had the same impassive expression. But there was a thought in her mind to smile and hide or her feelings behind it. The man didn't wait for her reply as he stood up and said, “I'm leaving. Take care and be strong.” After he said those words, he took a step and left the room. The little girl followed him with her gaze. But as soon as he left the room, a smile formed on her lips. After a moment, she suddenly spoke, “Yes, father. I won't disappoint you.” Suddenly, after Samantha saw what happened, the scene changed again. The place they were in now wasn't in the room anymore but in a high circular platform. She saw two kids in there. One was about four years old kid, the little girl from before, while the other kid was about thirteen. Surprisingly, the thirteen years old boy had fallen on the ground while the little girl was standing with a wide smile. Her crimson hair fluttered with the wind as if clapping for her victory. The scene then changed again. It was another battle of the little girl where she appeared victorious. Every opponent she had fell in her hands and there was not a battle where she lost. As the scene kept changing, many opponents had already fallen. The smile on her lips became wider and wider. But it appeared as well that she was becoming crueler and crueler as her opponents weren't just suffering defeats, but they would either lose one or two of their body parts, or blood would be spilled. At such a young age, the little girl learned to kill. And the people around her were starting to fear her. They avoided eye contact whenever she passed by afraid that they might piss her off. Every time she stood on the ring, her defeated opponents were always calling her monster. Not only that, even the other people who were afraid of her were starting to call her monster. As a result, she grew up without any friends. She grew up looking down at everyone. People would always bow down to her and no one at her age would have the guts to fight her. Not even those newly awakened kids for 1 to 5 years. Carrying the words of her father, the little girl grew up with a smile. She became stronger, far stronger than her peers. But as a return, she became completely alone and was nicknamed “Monster”. She became the monster who didn't know the meaning of true happiness and love. And contrary to that, what she only knew was cruelty and pride. As if everyone other than herself was ants. Their life didn't even worth that much. Samantha naturally saw the scene. She finally stood up from the ground as she stared fixedly at the little girl. Her heart hastened a beat for she found that this little girl who had grown up was so much similar to her. Her appearance was the same as hers. It was as if they were the same and one.
