Lia slapped Ree on his face just before he got the chance to stand on his feet. Napatakip ako ng aking bibig. Napalingon sa gilid si Ree sa lakas ng sampal na natanggap nito mula kay Lia. Suddenly my body began to shake. Takot at hiya ang siyang nararamdaman ko ngayon. “How could you betray me?” ang mga salitang nagpahina sa aking kalamnan. I feel so stupid this time. Luha ang sumunod na dumaloy mula sa mga mata ni Lia. She looked at me like she’s gonna burn me now. Her eyes were on fire as she look straight into my eyes. “Li..” ang sabi ko. Suddenly it felt like the time stopped running. The world stopped turning. I just realized finding myself looking on the side. Her palm hit my face really hard. That made me realize it didn’t hurt but left me speechless and emotionless like that h
