CHAPTER 9
The next day the funeral home chapel was packed with friends and neighbors attending Erin’s funeral. Greg was looking around in amazement at the large crowd. Lily took his arm and guided him to a seat in front. Les was beside her, carrying Lucky. Doug had spotted Lorraine and went to bring her up to sit with them.
At 2 o’clock the pastor from Marissa’s church came forward and introduced himself and went to the front to talk. Marissa had filled him in on Erin, so he had some nice things to say about her. He reminded everyone that Erin would live on in Lucky.
After the pastor sat down, there was a line of people coming forward to speak. They mainly said they would miss her, and she was a good person.
Some ladies came forward to sing. They sang How Great Thou Art and I’ll Fly
