Kyle moved closer to her father, her voice shaky as she tried to explain. "Dad, please trust me. I thought it was—" Her words were cut off by a hard slap across her face.
"Oh my God! Dad, calm down!" Lila pleaded.
"I swear I didn't know the man last night wasn't Andrew. Someone must have set me up," Kyle cried, tears welling up in her eyes.
"You ruined your wedding. Whether it was your fault or not, you’re affecting everyone. You might ruin all the business deals with the Coopers," he yelled, his voice filled with anger that made Kyle scared to her core. But she continued.
"I just lost my chance at lifelong happiness, and all you care about is a business deal?" she asked, feeling both scared and surprised. He turned to look at her with fury in his eyes, but Lila quickly intervened.
"Dad, don't get upset at Kyle. I mean, she's still your daughter," she started.
"Enough!" he yelled at Lila, who was trying to calm the situation. "She has disgraced us for the last time. Kyle, go get your things," he continued.
Kyle, confused by his statement, asked again, "Dad, what are you talking about?"
He yelled loud enough to make the room tremble, "I told you how precious this deal is to me, but you ruined everything. You didn't only ruin everything; you disgraced this family and the relationship I've built with the Coopers for years. This father-daughter relationship is over as of right now. Go get your things. GO."
Her eyes widened in shock as she realized there was nothing she could do to save herself. She turned to Lila, her father's favorite, but Lila simply rolled her eyes and turned away, avoiding Kyle.
With a sad face, Kyle slowly left the living room, feeling the weight of her father's words pressing down on her. She headed straight to her room to pack her bags. She came out with her belongings after a while of crying and packing. By the time she reached the gate, a cab was already waiting outside for her. The cab driver collected her belongings and put them in the trunk. Kyle was ready to go. She glanced at the house for a moment before hopping in the back seat of the car. She was about to close the door when someone quickly obstructed it, holding the door of the car. It was Lila, a mocking smile playing on her lips. She moved forward to Kyle, looking her straight in the eyes and said,
"It was all me, sl*t," she said in a low tone.
"Lila, what are you talking about?" Kyle asked, her voice filled with naivety.
"Honestly, it was too easy. I just found a drunk stranger at the hotel bar, then I stole his room card and sent you to his room. Oh, I was just wondering if you'd like the pre-wedding gift. Hope you liked it," she said, smiling wickedly.
"How could you do this to me? Why? Aren't we sisters?" Kyle asked, tears welling up in her eyes.
Lila laughed wickedly, leaning closer to Kyle's face. "Oh, big sis, I'm so sorry. I just did all that because I fell in love with Andrew, and you're a pain in the *ss. We share everything, remember? And Andrew is no exception," she said as she slammed the door with so much force. The car started and was ready to move.
"Wait! Wait!! Wait!!! Let me out," Kyle instructed, but it was too late. The car zoomed off to the airport.

**ETHAN WRIGHT'S ENTERPRISE**
Back at Ethan Wright Enterprise, Ethan was sitting in his spacious, modern office, working on his desktop, scrolling through various emails before he heard a knock on his office door. Seated in his swivel chair, he turned to face the window before ordering the person to come in. It was Kent, his assistant.
"Sir, I have reviewed the hotel security cameras, but it seems someone tampered with the footage between 11 PM and midnight," Kent reported, responding to Ethan's request to know who was in his room the night before.
Kent was the personal assistant to Ethan Wright, the owner of Ethan Wright's Enterprise. Ethan was known for his generosity and good business deals, as well as being a gentle and reserved man.
"Are you trying to say that someone tried to set me up? What about the girl who came into my hotel room last night? Could it have been her?" Ethan asked, feeling confused and trying to puzzle out what happened.
"We can't confirm if you were the target, sir. The eldest son of the Cooper family was having his bachelor party at the hotel, and some escorts were there. It could have been one of them," Kent said with certainty in his voice.
"Make sure to gather more information about last night, and don't keep me waiting too long," Ethan instructed. He fixed his blue, charming eyes on Kent, who quickly looked down.
"Yes, sir. I'll get back to you," Kent replied, then left, closing the door behind him and leaving Ethan with his thoughts.
"Who could she be? She's so amazing," Ethan thought to himself.
