Every one was feeling on edge because of the new found news , even though it's a good news but the fact about their second prince mated to a human not to miss the mystery on her family background doesn't seem to dominate the positive news at all.
No could understand why Diana's family background is such a mystery, they have the best investigators under them but still couldn't get anything other then basic information on them.
But what pissess Dain more is they couldn't find about the relation between Rome and Diana because they couldn't get hold on Rome's background either.
Knowing Second Prince's temper His majesty ordered him not to attend school until his Lycan is under control. But Dain is notorious for his brains when Asher is for his strength, so he easily manipulated the guards placed around his chambers and got to school.
By the time His majesty got the news it was too late so he just decided to let him be. Because making a Lycan stay away from their mate is futile attempt and he trusts his son enough but he just don't want to take any chances. Every Lycan and werewolf attending Dain's school are asked to be on a look out.
Dain's friends are ordered not to leave his side no matter what.
Dain doesn't like the King's decision but still complied because he knows his father is just worried about his son loosing his mate over his temper as Lycans are deemed to be territorial, after all they are more of an animal than a human.
It's just how they are but it's not the same for humans. They might mistake it for obsession or violence.
Dain was waiting for Diana at the parking lot, it been few minutes when he got the news through the mindlink from the Lycans at Diana's house that Rome was there few minutes ago to pick her up.
Dain knew he can't make any moves on her yet so, he decided to watch over her for the time being to know her better but God knows what his Lycan might do if he is triggered.
In no time Diana and Rome reached the parking lot and as she god down from the car Dain is all eyes and ears for her and he isn't even hiding the fact that he is watching her like the predator he is.
But Diana being herself didn't notice him at all as her whole attention was on Rome as he was talking about some party he is going to throw in 2 weeks as his parents are going for some reunion. You see both of them are college sweet hearts.
Diana is not interested in parties as she likes lying on her bed more than anything but she is curious about the type of party her crazy cousin is going to throw.
This time Rome is super excited about this party as it's the first time Diana is going to attend it. Funny thing is Diana is just pretending to be agreeing with him because she knows how persistent Rome can be.
Let's say it's safe to fegin her excitement rather than rejecting his invitation.
Given high earing power for Lycans, Dain surly heard them clearly and he already made a plan for that party which is not so guilt free.
