Rome's POV

Sweety is like my little sister and I am not going to let any jerks flocking around her at school so I just suggested her to keep our relation a secret which she agreed on .

I know how oblivious Diana can be ,so keeping our relation secret might create rumours which will be helpful for me to protect her from any jerks .

And I think its a good idea because I saw Dain starring at sweety , normally Dain is mysterious type but most of the students around here fear him or respect him which is kind of weird .

So I ignored him starring at Sweety during our home room .

But I should have not because when I was getting lunch for me and sweety ,Alex asked me about my relation with Sweety when I questioned back asking him why, he said he too noticed Dain's odd behaviour like starring at Sweety during all the classes . That's when my brotherly instincts kicked in and as I was looking around for Dain

surely his eyes were again starring at sweety ,then I got an evil idea so I purposefully used Diana's pet name to call her which immediately earned Dain's attention towards me who is looking like he is going to kill me any minute , I smirked at his reaction .

when I got back to our table ,I saw sweety glaring at me .

" so what was that Rome " Emma asked.

" I like calling her sweety " I said in a duh tone , I know they are going to get confused now and I am going to let them be in suspense for now.

And then I just diverted the topic to something random .

Then I got a message from Ian saying he is going home as something came up there .

The rest of the lunch went by normal and I noticed Dain and his friends were missing . I think he got my message .

Dain's POV

I never imagined that I could have a mate because for us lycans its most rarest and sacred thing .

And man I should say my mate is quite a tough one to deal with, I think it will take time to even gain her attention .

My lycan was out of control the minute she ignored our presence so I had to leave there and it took quite a long talk to keep my lycan under bay because lycans are most territorial and protective over their mates .

when I got back, I saw that she was still sitting beside Rome , normally I never had any clashes with Rome but now I can't promise anything because the closeness between my mate and Rome just makes me livid but I had to control because he might be someone important to my mate .

I just don't know whether my mate is pretending or ignorant because during all the classes my whole attention was on her and all the students who shared the classes with us knows it even humans noticed it but not my mate , she is like in her own world and I just don't know what to do to gain her attention.

By the time of lunch most of the supernatural beings in our school knows about me finding my mate and I am still struck at starring at her but Rome seems to have another plans , he deliberately call my mate by her pet name loud enough so the entire cafeteria could hear him but I think he did it on purpose so that everyone could here him especially me because the smirk he had on at the end looking at me gave out his intention , it doesn't need an expert to know his intentions .

My lycan was furious and was about to kill him but my friends stopped us they literally dragged me out and to my home ,where my parents were already waiting for us but my lycan being the strongest couldn't be controlled and was about to take off to school but Ian saved the situation , he suggested that we know the relationship between them before concluding anything because if killing him brings any drifts between me and my mate, I can't handle that.

For lycans we go as far as killing everyone who comes between us and our mates even if it is their husbands incase if our mate is married before we could claim them .

But building the bond is as important so my lycan could rest till we know their exact relation.

Every one was at edge until my lycan could calm down, my parents and clan was happy but wary at the same time as my mate being a human .

which means the risk of her not accepting me and our clan and me being the prince doesn't help much , even though I am the second prince still I have duties and responsibilities towards my clan .

Literally many things are at stake in such situations because either one of us might have to loose the most important things if we want to be together, because there are certain unavoidable things which doesn't have any option other than one of us giving in.

But all in all the only thing I know is she will be mine . And no one can imagine how far I can go for her . And what me and my lycan will do to anyone who gets between us .
