Diana’s POV As soon as our P.E. ended, I changed into my casuals. And then I went to the parking lot to wait for Rome near his car and I already sent him a message about my whereabouts. As I was minding my myself, I could notice some students looking at me warily like they are afraid of me, weird much I thought and continued reading my favorite novel. After few minutes I saw Rome heading towards his car while waving at his friends and when I turned to them, they were also waving at me so I just waved back, Oddly Alex looked stressed as if someone was about to die, well that’s how he looked for me. As we got on to the road Rome started questioning about how was the school and if I liked his friends. I answered him honestly that I liked his friends and how comfortable I felt around them even though it's our first meeting, lastly like always schools sucks for me. Just for your information school and I never get along with each other. Just because I like reading doesn’t mean that I like studying. My grades have always been average maybe below average depends on my mood mostly. Most of our acquaintances think of me as an A’s student because of my parents and their success, poor them don’t know me at all. But Rome is quite opposite of me, even though he is the out-going one between us, he is a straight A student. I just don’t understand where does he gets this energy from and not to forget he is a jock who is so different form the typical stereotypes. Rome went back to school as soon as he dropped me off, as he has a practice session with his team. When I got in, I saw my mom talking on the phone while rubbing the side of her head, it seems like someone got on her nerves. Not wanting to disturb her conversation, I dropped my bag on the nearby sofa and went to get myself something to drink. By the time I finished my drink my mom was back to normal not frowning anymore and as soon as she cut the call, she opened her arms indicating for a hug. “So how was the first day at school Sweety”, she asked patting my hair gently, making me feel relaxed, so I got comfortable in her arms before answering. “It was not bad, well you see school is never going to change and I met Rome’s buddy gang and they were cool and comfortable to hang around”, I told making her chuckle. “Why are laughing Mom?”, I asked confused. “It’s so funny to see you complain about school, you used to cry on weekends, when you were in kindergarten saying you want to go to school even on holidays”, My mother said making me frown, I am a weird kid back then, right? Who cries when they can’t go to school? And then I remembered my mom frowning into the call few minutes ago, so asked her what was wrong “Nothing Sweety, this staffing company I hired changed the helping staff suddenly claiming they wanted to get us the best”. “So, what are you going to do about it then?”, Now I am worried because helping staff are a must for our house, as mom and dad going to be out for work and most importantly for my lazy as*, boiling water and eggs, using a toaster is the only things I know about cooking. And cleaning was never my thing, I got dust allergies. “My work is going to begin in 2 days, since we are short on time, I just accepted the change of staff, I am going to interview them tomorrow, still got to see how it goes”, she said frowning a little, I think that staffing company messed up my mom’s schedule.
