“Sunny, I can fix my own plate,” Geoff protested. “But I want to.” “But you don’t have to.” “But I want to,” she insisted, and the look in her eyes told Geoffrey it wouldn’t do any good to argue with her. “Thank you.” Nash merely smiled, settling his bulk on the table’s narrow bench. He watched Sunny with patient amusement, the smile never leaving his face. Geoffrey sat across from him with a soft sigh. He recognized that look. He knew it well. Nash was falling for that girl. “How did the meeting go yesterday?” Geoffrey finally asked. “Oh,” Nash waved his hand, “I don’t want to discuss business right now.” “What?” “I don’t want to discuss business right now,” Nash repeated. “Yes, I heard you the first time. I just don’t believe you,” Geoffrey said. “Well, I’m not kidding today.”
