"Helios kindly bright up the place"
The Marksmen stopped firing and turned to have a look where the light came from
"Hey, having a hard time with the task?" I asked them.
"Yeah Master"
"This is really frustrating."
"One helpful tip, aim with your hands and not with your eyes. It is much easier that way."
Then they tried firing and two of them managed to land a hit. They are relieved upon completing the task.
"Second helpful tip, always have a firm grip and proper posture it increases the accuracy."
They started firing and I helped them with their posture and handling surprisingly they landed all a hit.
"Great job everybody. You all take a rest now and prepare for dinner."
"Can we still continue Master? Pretty please"
"Fine by me but don't stay up to late okay."
I went to the cafeteria and I saw the Healers, Knights, Assassins, and some of my Strategist eating.
"Hey Chris, over here" Sora shouted as she waves to grab my attention.
I walked towards our table.
"Looks like you men are all friendly suddenly. What's the catch?" Sora asked.
"Well, their task is to know what your men are up to."
"You see a Strategist must know their teammates in order to make the right decisions."
"Wise move Chris" Draxx praised
"Dr Edwin might I asked something about your top one student Sarah."
"Ahh Sarah she is pretty well skilled with any medical apparatus. She seems a cheerful lady, she gets along with her fellow students easily."
"I see, what is your task actually?"
"They are tasked to use all the medical apparatuses presented and she manages to use it all perfectly."
"Who is this Sarah by the way?" Sora asked.
"Remember the three I owe a fragment well she is one of them and it seems she really deserves her price”.
"What about the remaining two?" Draxx asked.
"Well, the Marksman placed fifth while the Strategists not so lucky, but I know he can keep up."
"Remember the three men sneaking around”.
"Yeah why!" Sora seems pissed.
"Of course, Draxx why?" I asked.
"Apparently they are all in my Assassin class and they are trying very hard to excel."
"I see they are planning to sneak again" Sora has this glare in her eyes.
"Calm down Sora no one is planning to sneak at the ladies' building" I tried calming her down”.
"Kindly excuse me I still need to check what are my doing I hope they are all finish with their task."
Draxx stood up and went on his way.
"We might head out as well. We still need to clean up our apparatuses and prepare another task for tomorrow" Dr Edwin said
"I'll went on my way to Chris good night" Sora said.
They all went on their way. Then a group all take a seat
"Master we are the top ten of the Tanks" the group leader said.
"Lucky for you, now promise me that all of you will strive harder to reach the top okay."
"Let's see who gets an Elemental Fragment”?
"Of course, it's me" the leader seems bragging.
"Think again boss we will not back down”.
"Yeah, we will dethrone you."
"I like to see you all try."
"That's the spirit. I do love s healthy competition."
"That's all Master we will head on our way now."
The group waved goodbye and went on their way.
After I finished eating, I went outside and had a look. I saw these students doing whatever it takes just to finish their task.
I went to the center and struck lightning to grab all their attention.
"It is getting late resume whatever you are doing first thing in the morning."
"Around 5:00 AM would be nice but make sure you still have the energy for tomorrow's class."
"Now all of you take a rest."
With a whistle my Divine Beast all gather up
"Okay all of you return" they all disappeared.
The students went to their respective buildings.
"This is just the first day I can't wait what happens tomorrow" I am excited already.
I head straight to my office and relax. Then I had this thought
"What if I fall asleep and an intruder entered?"
I summoned Titan, Batis and Zeph to stand guard for the night. I even casted a barrier in the entire academy for safe keeping
After some time Zeph noticed something and it quickly informed me. Looks like an intruder and it is heading to the ladies' building.
I head straight and start concealing myself as I wait for it to show up. Then my bag started to shake. I got alarmed suddenly. I pulled out my g*n and as soon as it pops out, I fired.
I hit it in the shoulder, and it dropped to the ground. Titan noticed it and it immediately binds into the ground.
I head down to have a look. I was surprised it was Draxx
"What are you doing this late at night?"
"Well, I was hoping to check the layout of the ladies' building for myself”.
"You could just ask me in the morning. Why did you want the layout anyway?"
"Well, I am going to make my Assassins infiltrate the ladies' building without being caught”.
"Do you think that's going to work if you of all people got easily caught?"
"So that's your plan" someone said from behind.
We were both spooked. I turned to have a look and I saw a furious looking Sora. I immediately fall back and set Draxx free.
"Well then Draxx how about a challenge?"
"Your assassins versus all the lady students in the campus"
"One question"
"And what is that!"
"Are the lady assassins on my side or yours?"
"To be fair you could have them for training purposes."
"I'll accept your challenge in one condition. If my team wins all the boys can visit the ladies' building anytime"
"But if my team wins you and your assassins will become slaves for the rest of the semester"
"And PS your men can only visit. No one can go upstairs without my permission"
"Our battle will start after lunch in order for us to diverse a plan."
"Looks like you are in a heap of trouble."
"I can win this" Draxx seems motivated.
It is morning and the classes are cut due to the upcoming event.
