Chapter 37

And on the outside of the kingdom there were people watching around the kingdom. Watching their routine, glancing through the maize of land and it was as if their eyes had started to grow.. "Is she in there?" A man said, another vampire standing far away from the kingdom and staring at the land. However, at that moment a few more men started growing around the older man as well. "Sir, the entire Kingdom has been surrounded." A large, and tall vampire walked up, while his red eyes shined. Looking at his chief. "What about our scent?" The chief asked. "It's masked sir, for now. But if we stay here any longer, it will not stay. But tomorrow morning we have to take her and we have to go." The man said while the chief nodded his head, stood there, watching the security and the castle she as in, and at the same time she was well protected too. "The potion the witch gave her should have killed her, Mark" The chief let out, smirking softly. "Then we will do it tonight." Mark said and right then a small kid, 20 years old boy came up, scared as ever. He watched the chief as was leaving, and heading up the mountain. "But don't you think it's a bit dangerous?" The young man let out, as the chief stopped on his track, turning around and looking at the youngest, one of them who had shifted. A very brave, very strong too. "After what the vampire King had done to my people, I think his sister should pay a little bit more. Seeing her burning from inside and yet still alive makes me happy. Saraam deserves this sight of her sister. Not being able to scream from pain growing in her. And all the pleasure in the world this gives." He said, surprising the little boy or a little man that he was. "We are turning into something else. This is only politics and some pleasure of being powerful." Mark let out, anger pouring out of that vampire. "He made my family hurt, I am going to make his family hurt." The chief said walking away from there. And Mark turned back to the little body, who was shaking now. Mark smirked to himself, placing his hand on his shoulder "Although, none of us predicted for him to bring his sister to one of our enemies by nature," Mark said, walking after the chief very casually. As a chief nodded his head. "Everything is set chief, everyone is in place and until the scent wears off, we still have some time. And then we are going tonight." Chief said, and they both listened. "Either we get her out of there, or we put in more poison in her, a little more. But she is to die very slowly." The chief let out as Mark nodded his head, slowly walking away from there to instruct this to every vampire that had completely surrounded the land in all directions. The body completely turned to the kingdom that she was very much protected and kept in. Whatever happens, it is not going to be easy to get in to this Kingdom. "But there are too many of them." He said to Mark. "But what we are carrying, that will not be a problem." Mark said, slowly looking down and the dagger that every vampire had. And on it was a spell that was cast by their set of witches, the same ones that almost killed Anya. "This will not let those werewolves, live longer. They will not survive it, they won't be able to. Nothing has the power to revive them back." Mark said as the men around him smiled to themselves. Happy at the difference this was going to make. "This is going to create a lot of trouble," The young man broke down now, because he knew what the future was. "They have invited trouble to us, there is no backing down now. We would have killed her in that castle, now we are killing her in this one. Doesn't make a difference to me, and neither should it to you.." Mark said, looking down at the boy. While the chief walked away from there, and Mark was making his way there too. Leaving the boy scared and alone with these vampires. He did not understanding why any of this was necessary. The girl, princess, was already suffering in the castle that she was kept in. And now he was fearing for her life, as this would be the first one he would take out of many that were to come. ............................................................................................................................................................................................................... "So, what now? You ready to go fight some stress out?" Genie asked Evelet, as she walked down the stairs and now dressed for training. Evi and Genie were all in black, as they were both making their way down stairs. "Why would I try to fight this stress out? I do that by talking to my dear old mate." Evi said, actually speaking the truth. "I cannot believe you both are getting along with each other." Genie said excitedly. "We are not getting along. We just don't have reasons to fight anymore. I am here, I am comfortable. " Evelet said, and Genie nodded her head. "And he has his work, while I am trying to learn about my work and things are better." She said and some how Genie actually believed that. Slowly turning and looking at her best friend. "You do seem very comfortable here. Although, sometimes you go through hell. Other than that, for a person who has seen a lot, you seem to me perfectly fine." Genie explained, and this all went over Evi's head. "What do you mean by that?" She asked. "Stronger, I mean you have always been strong before and even carrying the news of your dead mate. That nobody believed you before. And I always used to see you. It was difficult back then. And it is difficult right now. But you just seem to get much stronger by the day." Genie said, surprising her best friend. And never before had she ever heard these words from Genie. And if she did, it was not with these emotions. Now that this caught her off guard. Slowly Evi glanced to her left, as she was in the hallway there. Making a circle around, Evi's eyes almost landed on to the small hospital wing that the princess of the vampires was kept in. Evelet knew already and very well, that her mate was here. The Queen could sense his scent all over the place, and quickly she pulled out a hair band from her pocket, pushing her hair behind to put a tight and high pony tail. And right at that moment, she noticed Barka standing out there, talking to Misi. And one of the physicians who was taking care of Anya. And right then, as she walked through. His eyes glanced at her as well. Even though there was a far distance between them, he too noticed. Looking at her up and down. Something about his eyes on her just made the Queen tumble on her step. But she tried to keep herself steady. And calmed down, not trying to show any sort of emotion. But there were a lot of emotions in here. Quickly she looked down, walking down the stairs and leaving him there all alone. Not a word we said to each other. She just left him there with his patient or guest. What ever she was to him. But Evi did not want to know more about it, and started to make her way down the stairs. And now, after the good sleep that Evi had she wanted nothing much more than that. She seemed good now. However, for the Alpha king, on the other hand, he watched as she left. Not being able to look away from his mate and not until she completely left. His site staye there, and he just wanted her to be safe with what ever was that she was doing. How ever, he already knew that the Queen was going for training and yet Barka was a little worried about her. Although, his irritation showed in his hands as he quickly pulled his hands away from his pockets, folding it on his chest and his fist opening and closing on their own. Barka, never the less, was a little anxious and mad for himself. But for her. The Alpha King, was about to go to her, and wanted to talk to her. But he knew that, she would take it in the wrong way. How ever, Misi, on the other hand, she noticed everything that was right in front of her eyes. Smiling softly to herself. "Anya is looking darker than ever, like she is rotting away." She said, trying to bring him back to the hospital where he stood. "Yes....... yes........." He said, stumbling on his words for the first time, which has never happened before, and this was surprising to everyone there. But the man walked up towards his sister, bending down a little, slowly touching her skin yet again. And now only to see how she was turning into ice. Cold, like never before. A frown was growing on his face, he was worried about her to death now. "How much more longer with this mist working on her?" He asked Misi, whispering and turning around. As Misi was looking up at the mist that was floating on Anya. "How long until it gets into her body, her skin Misi?" Barka asked her again. "Some more time," She said. "Anya is still recovering but the poison is strong. We can help as much as we want, but she also has to pull through." She informed him, and this got him thinking. "Is she awake in there?" He asked, "Very much so, and of course there is no moment but I can hear her soul very clearly." She said, confusing Santo who was right there with the Lord. "And why can't we hear her?" He asked. "She is alive, but to hear her at this state, you have to be something stronger. As a witch, I can hear her well. There are also other super natural creatures who are strong enough and will be able to hear her as well. But there has to be power there." She explained. Santo glanced at Barka. Understanding that even the power oof the King will not do. "What is she saying? what does her heart want?" Barka asked. "She wants to live." Misi said. "Did she say that to you?: He immediately wanted and answer to his question. "Something her soul is wishing for Barka. She is pleading." She said, really sad to see her this way. How ever right then he glazed away from the witch and back at Anya, sitting down close up to her. "If that is what she wants, that is what she will get. Do anything you can Misi, get her back." He said to her as she slowly nodded her head. "Of course." Misi muttered. "How long do you think it will take for her to get up?. Rann let out, while Misi was walking closer to the girl, with a group of young witches right next to her. And even her own sister Shy was there as well. All of them getting back to their work, try to cast another spell to get it all out of her. "Everyone has to leave the room. I will call for you later Barka." She said, explaining as much as she could.. And for him that was enough. Slowly nodding his head, Barka turned around walking away from there and Santo, and his brother right behind him. Knowing that this day had just begin. The king could already feel so much more that was to come. It was a feeling that he couldn't shake off, but mostly worried about his mate now. .......................................................................................................................................................................................... "How long do you think it will take for her to wake up?" The queen asked as the guards had started to escort her towards the training area for royalty. How ever, the guards were absolutely necessary for her. "Can you stop worrying about her. That girl is unconscious and close to dying." Genie let out, and Evi was stunned that she thought of it that way. "No, no.. I am not trying to be mean to her." Evelet said, actually speak in the truth. "It came out that way didn't it?" Genie said, a little stunned to see her best friend this way. Never the less quickly she looks away from her, not wanting to speak. "I hope she gets better, because what she is going through is actually hurting her." Evi said, and this surprised Genie. "It is?" She asked, "Hmmmmm..." Evi hummed. "Do you want her to leave?" Genie was smiling softly but she did not like it. "Can top it. It's not funny." Evi said, frustrated now. "I know............ I know. I am just playing with you." She said, but suddenly something got the queen and now she was a little worried. "I went to see her yesterday." She whispered. "What? really?" Genie asked, amused, and Evi nodded her head. As they started to make their way forward, while Genie and Evi were listening to a lot of grunting and growling, and sounds of weapons being hit together and loud screaming of wolves and growls. "What happened then?" "She was cold, I don't know. It was just something strange and she was turning grey in colour. I don't know what happened to her but I bent down to hold her hand and suddenly she was turning yellow. Like she was no longer dead. May be her skin made her do that. She was covered in black." Evi explained. "Maybe, it was............... " Genie said, but Evi interrupted her. "I don't know, but I know that she does not want to die," She said. "Of course she does not. She is a princess and she is in so much pain." Genie said. "I am happy to know that you are not jealous of her. Are you, are you actually concerned about that.................." "Listen, I don't know about jealousy. I don't know where that is coming from over and over again but you have not seen her. That is why you don't know. She just looks like she is in a lot of pain and she can't scream Genie. I guess we all can understand how that feels." Evi said, and suddenly Jenny couldn't help but feel for her now, she was thinking immediately about Robert. "I see him every morning, afternoon and night. I just want to keep seeing him, just....... just one more time. That is a different kind of pain." Genie, let out. Walking ahead now and immediately reaching the training ground. "Just a few more days and he will be outside, and back to you." Evi said, trying to comfort her best friend. "I am just.............. you know what I forgot....." "What?" Evi asked. "Thank you." Genie said, whispering and stopping on her track, and quickly the queen turned around looking at her best friend. Evi's hands behind her back and she was staring at her a little confused. "First of all, never in your life have you thanked me for anything. But I am okay with hearing you say that. But......... what's with the voice? Why did it suddenly stop?" Evi asked, and Genie was slowly smiling. Because she thought this was a very funny, but nodded her head. "You know, the only reason my mate is alive right now, even though he is far away from me. He is breath still, and blood is running down his veins, and it is only because of you." Genie said, meaning it with everything that she had in her, and this surprised the queen. "We all know what's the king was about to do. Not only did you protect him, you didn't even try to hurt him when he attacked you.. You saved him from that, even when you were hurt till your bones were showing. But that was a signature of his death. To be hung, skinned alive, cut his throat, anything could have happened to him." Genie let out and there was a sudden shift in Evi's body. "But just because of you, he did not do it. Just for you......" She said, and Evi suddenly looked away from her best friend. How ever, Genie stared at her,, feeling her heart beat and going faster. "You have to understand you can fight all you want with him Evi, but in many ways you are both changing for each other." Genie said, and a frown was on Evi's face. "Maybe even growing closer with the progress. And just because fear is consuming you both, don't stop. I just wanted to say that. I think you needed to hear your friend tell you the truth after so long." She said, giving Evi everything she had, and the first time the queen had nothing more to say. "Why............ you both are late." Nori said, quickly as the queen turned around to see she was a little sweaty. "I have been training here for 2 hours." She let out, immediately hugging the queen walked up to Genie. Nori was pulled into a hug as well. "Come on, we have a lot of a schedule planned out for you, my queen." Nori said, as both the girls turned around and walked away like they were in summer camp. How ever, the queen, on the other hand, she took every small step towards her friends. Not understanding what just happened. And even though the days were passing away in a big click of a finger. This information was something that she completely skipped through. She walked up to the ground, to see a trainer waiting for her, bowing his head as she got closer. Evi was now ready for this. ..................................................................................................................................................................................................................... "Maybe you should take some rest, my King." The Queen mother let out, as she walked into Barka's large office, as the ministers that he was sitting with were walking away. Leaving the king there all alone. Quickly, the doors behind her closed and she moved towards her grand son, staring at the way he looked, so tensed, tired today. "Something about you is different." the Queen mother said. "Nothing about me is different, grand mother." He said, going about his work as there were a few things he was writing down and he was concentrating. "I don't know, I see a glow on your face. Like you have been sleeping well, actually falling asleep even, may be." She said, smiling at the thought of him actually resting.. How ever, he stopped what he was doing and looked up at her. Slowly putting his pen down and backing away. "I am sure you have something important to tell me. And if you have come all this way." He let out, making her laugh. "Yes...... yes. I have. Tonight is full moon, and at the same time, this will be your beautiful Queens first full moon as well. And so I thought we should celebrate. A celebration of the full moon hasn't happen for a few years." The Queen mother said and he looked down for a few seconds, and then back up at her. "Now because I wasn't in the kingdom, and you do not narrate any celebrations at all. Not until some one else comes up with a plan." She let out, as the man smirked at her, nodding his head. "Tomorrow I want a celebration. Tomorrow night, as you welcome the moon goddess, getting closer to us. I want some dance, drinking, festivities for the children, music. I want happiness in this Kingdom again Barka, just as there was happiness when their Queen came. The people want this and I think, as the king, you should give what the kingdom wants." She said, showing him the reality. "My life is only for people grand mother. And if they want to celebration for the full moon, I will make sure it happens." He said, promising her, and this had brought more than happiness to Queen mother's life. "You were always a great king, my love. So much like your father and grandfather. They would be very proud of you and what you have come now." She said turning around and walking away from there. "More over, I think they would be more than happy about your mate. She would have been their favorite and that would have been a hell of a life for you." She let out, as he shut his eyes tight. Knowing how his grand father and father very badly wanted a girl as a child, but in this house, the first born was always a boy, some thing that disappointed the family, but never the less loved. Barka knew what his grand mother said was right. She would have been loved in this castle, just as much as she was loved in this kingdom.
