A Day Well Spent

I woke up in the morning and got up, changing into some nicely fit jeans and a nice black shirt with half sleeves that are flowy at the end and has a hole at each shoulder. I leave my long, brown hair curly. I do my make up in a natural, breathless look.

I go down stairs and Flash leaves to let me and Tara have a girls day. Before Ethan could leave, Tarra runs up to me, jumping into my arms and asks "Can Ethan spend the day with us too?!"

"Anyone you want to spend the day with us can, it's all up to you." I tell her.

"Yay!" She yells as she wraps her arms around my neck and hugs me.

"Now let's make some breakfast!" I tell her excitedly.

"Yay! Breakfast!" She yells as she jumps down and runs into the kitchen.

I walk in and Stand in across the counter to the seat she's sitting in. "Now what do you want for breakfast?" I ask.

She puts one of her little fingers to her lips and looks up and to the side thinking for a second. "Hmmmm...." Then she looks at me happily and excitedly asks "How about pancakes, bacon, eggs, grits, and hmmmm....?OH! Sausage!" she yells excitedly.

Me and Ethan look at her and giggle. "Okay! Let's get started then!" I say then look at Ethan then back at her. "How about you and Ethan go into the living room and watch TV and play for a bit, while I make breakfast?" I ask "Does that sound good?" I say looking between them.

"Yeah! Okay! Come on!" she says jumping down from the stool and grabbing Ethan's hand and dragging him to the living room.

I smile and laugh a bit looking at the situation. I smile widely loving the scene in front of me, her and Ethan smiling, looking happy, having fun.....I just love it.

'Yeah it's like we're a family.....can't wait to have pups and it be like this everyday.' Alcoline says  contently, as she smiles along with me.

'Yeah....That'd be amazing.' I think and sigh happily.

I finish making breakfast and fix everyone's plates and set the table. I walk to the living room to tell them to come eat and immediately smile at the sight in front of me.

Her and Ethan were playing a game and he's bowing down to her like she's a princess and they're both smiling. he holds his hand out to her and she immediately puts her hand in his and he spins her around as she smiles and giggles. Then she notices me standing there. "Ash!" She yells.

"Breakfast is ready!" I say smiling.

"Yes! Breakfast!" She yells as she comes running dragging Ethan along with her.

After breakfast I look at her and ask "So do you wanna go to the mall first?Then maybe go to the food court and then go to a carnival?"

"Huh!! Yeah!!" She yells happily jumping up and down. I giggle 'She's so adorable....I don't want her to ever grow up.' I think to myself.

'Yeah' Alcoline says and sighs happily with a big smile. 'She's the best little sister anyone could ask for....and it's like she's our pup....mainly cause we've basically raised her since we came here when she was just a little baby....she was only a few months old.' 

'Yeah that's true.' I tell her.

"Okay let's go get you ready!" I say as I stand up.

"I'll take care of everything in the kitchen." Ethan says as he stands up.

"Thank you." I tell him smiling gratefully.

'What would I do without him?' I wonder.

'Yeah he's amazing.' Alcoline says.

"Okay princess! You need a bath first." I say to Tara as I pick her up and tickle her.

"Haha...okay...okay!" She giggles.

I take her to her room and into the bathroom and start the bath. while the bath is filling up I walk into her room with her to find an outfit for today.

I walk to her closet "Okay what are we gonna wear today?" I ask her.

"Hmmm..." She wonders for a second. "A dress!!" She yells happily.

"Okay." I say as I look at her dresses. "How about his one?" I ask holding up a nice dress that's flowy. It's blue and the bottom has a white design of a town. The inside has whit layers. one is silk and on top of that between that and the outside is 2 layers of white lacy fabrics.

"Yeah!! I love that dress!!" She yells and I giggle at how adorable she is.

"Okay this dress it is!" I say as I lay it out on the bed, then I go and get white stockings to wear underneath.

I take her to the bathroom and turn off the water. I help her get undressed and put her in the tub.

I heard a knock on the door and said "Hold on sweety, stay here I'll be right back." I say and get up and walk over to the door to her bedroom.

I open the door and Ethan is standing there. "I'm gonna go to my house to get changed so I'll be right back." He says.

"Okay, I'll see you when you get back then." I say and give him a quick kiss on the lips.

"Okay, I won't be long." He says with a smile.

"Okay, bye." I say with a smile.

"Bye." He says before kissing me on the forehead and leaves.

I walk back to the bathroom and play with Tara in the tub for a bit then I help her get washed up.

After her bath I drain the tub and grab a towel. She stands up and I wrap the towel around her small body and pick her up. I place her on the mat and start to dry her off. I grab her robe, put it on her and tie it. We walk to the counter and she stands on the stool and I dry her hair.

After drying her hair, I ask "So how do you want your hair done today?"

"I want it curly like yours!" She says excitedly, pointing to my hair.

"Okay!" I say and pull out the curling wand.

I curl her hair and spray it with hair spray.

"Yay! Now I look beautiful like you!" She yells happily.

"Awwww, thanks baby, but you always look beautiful." I tell her smiling.

"Still!" She says.

Ethan comes in and says "Wow! Look how beautiful the two of you look!"

"Haha, Thanks!" Tara giggles.

"Thanks babe." I say smiling then look at Tara "Now it's time to get you dressed!" I say happily.

"Okay, I'll go get what we need while you do that." Ethan says with a smile.

"Thanks." I say with a smile.

"Of course." He says and kisses my temple.

He walks out then me and Tara go to her room and get her dressed. We walk out and Ethan walks down stairs with a bag with our stuff in it. "You ready to go?" He asks "I'll drive." He says.

"Yeah, okay! Let's go!" I say excitedly.

"Yay!" Tara shouts "Let's go!" She yells and grabs our hands and drags us out the door. I laugh at the adorable sight.

We go to the mall first and we go to the build-a-bear workshop first. All 3 of us made one, I made a wolf, Tara made a puppy, and Ethan made a wolf. Mine was white, with blue eyes, like my wolf, Tara's was brown with white spots, and Ethan's was black with red tips on the ears and tail. I named mine Alcoline, like my wolf, Ethan named his Ryker, like his wolf, and Tara named hers Tara, after herself and said "They're a family, it's like us, a family!"This made me really happy and I about cried.

We went to different toy stores and candy stores and had a lot of fun. We even went cloths shopping, then we went to the food court and got Chinese food. It was a wonderful day, we had so much fun. I couldn't stop thinking about what she said. 'They're a family, it's like us, a family!'
