Death of Luke's parents
Luke's POV Luke was a young billionaire, the son of a wealthy man who owned numerous companies, including the famous one called "Flex." Tragically, he was involved in an accident that claimed the lives of his parents. He was the only survivor, though he was badly injured. After several tests, it was discovered that the accident had left him unable to perform his duties as a man due to the severe damage. In deep thought, Luke reflected, "My life is shattered. I have so much money, but no one to enjoy it with when I’m gone. No!" He shouted in frustration. "I have to figure out a solution to my problem, even if I have to spend a fortune finding it." Your food is ready, young master," said Mary, his long-time housekeeper. Regaining himself, Luke replied, "Thank you, Mary. You've worked for us for so long... I see you as family. You have to stop calling me 'young master'—that’s an order. Please, call me Luke." "No, young master," Mary insisted. "Your family has done so much for me. Even after their passing, you’ve kept me here and paid me more than they ever did. You’ve shown me nothing but love." As she left to continue her work in the kitchen, Luke was left to ponder. Can I find someone who will love me, despite my inability to perform my duties as a man? He thought. There’s no harm in trying. He glanced at the food Mary had prepared. "Thank you for the food, Mary," he said as he walked upstairs to his room. He had to focus on his company’s affairs, which required his attention. Luke sat at his desk, the weight of his thoughts pressing on him as he gazed out the window, his mind wandering between the business world and his personal struggles. His father’s legacy—the empire that Flex had become—demanded his full attention, but at that moment, the boardroom seemed far away. The loneliness in his life felt more pressing than any quarterly report. **Can I really live like this?** The question circled his mind like a persistent echo. The accident had not only taken his parents but had also robbed him of something far more personal. His injury had left him unable to do what most men could do, and with that, he feared he'd never be loved as a whole person, only for the wealth and status he carried. Mary’s voice cut through his thoughts. “Master Luke, there’s a visitor at the gate.” Luke frowned, his heart skipping a beat. A visitor? At this hour? “I’ll be right down,” he replied, his mind racing. Who could it be? A business associate, perhaps? A potential partner? His curiosity got the best of him as he made his way downstairs, his footsteps echoing in the quiet house. He opened the front door to find a woman standing at the gate. She was dressed simply but elegantly, with a confident posture that seemed to radiate a quiet strength. Luke’s first instinct was to dismiss her as someone from the charity he’d recently pledged money to, but something about her presence made him hesitate. “I’m sorry to bother you, Mr. Luke,” she said, her voice steady but kind. “I’m Elena. Your new secretary.”. “I’m not sure I hire you and I know I never did, but I don’t think I need a Secretary,” he replied, his tone defensive. The last thing i wanted is having a someone close and standing in my personal space not to talk of a Lady Elena took a step forward, her gaze unwavering. “I understand your hesitation, but what if I told you that there a lot of work and you definitely need a secretary by your side my Luke. a way to help lessen the amount of work on your shoulder and help you gain space to rest Luke looked at her with a mixture of skepticism and curiosity. He had no patience for secretary, but something about her—her calm certainty—made him accept. “I’m willing to accept you as my secretary,” he said slowly, his curiosity now piqued. Elena smiled, an understanding flicker in her eyes. “I’m promising you won't regret this Mr. Luke, and I believe we can work together to improve the company sales on property and product . There’s more to do in the company”
