Bryan arrived at the Dean's office. The Dean was a middle-aged man with brown skin.
Mike was in the Dean's office, too. His face had some plaster, and he smiled seeing Bryan arrive at the Dean's office.
"Good afternoon, sir. You sent for me," Bryan said, his expression firm as he stood in front of the Dean and slowly closed the office door after entering.
Dean Calvin Dawson looked up at Bryan as he was going through a student profile in his office computer.
"Bryan, why did you get involved in a fight with your fellow colleague? Did you forget that fighting is prohibited in this college?" the middle-aged man asked, his gaze firm as he peered at Bryan's face.
"I am aware, sir," Bryan replied calmly, and the Dean looked between Mike and Bryan.
"Explain yourselves. Why did you both fight in the first place? Fighting over a girl now that university is going on vacation?" Dean Calvin asked.
However, Bryan's expression darkened when he heard the Dean's question.
"No, sir. It was a setup that Mike caused, and I only confronted him in the best possible way to issue a warning to him," Bryan said, clearly not wanting to go into details.
"Bryan, I am very much aware that you are older than many of your peers. But this is not why you will engage in a fight with any of them. If a report like this should occur again, then you will be dismissed," Dean Calvin stated in a cold voice as he was seated in his office chair.
"Is that understood?" Dean Calvin asked once more.
"Yes, sir," Bryan replied indifferently, his voice lacking sincerity in his acceptance of the Dean's warning.
"Mike, you have a history of causing trouble since you joined us. If this continues, you will be forced to be expelled, as we want respectful students here on campus, irrespective of the fact that your fathers are partners with this college. We will not accept any form of moral misconduct or insolence from any of you again. Now, apologize to one another and hug before you leave my office," Dean Calvin said, as he had a big pair of spectacles on his nose.
Bryan's expression was chilling as he did not want to have anything to do with Mike again. Mike had been his best friend and close buddy since joining Ashland's top-tier private university.
"What are you both still waiting for? Do you want to get suspended when the college resumes or to have a hold on your results?" Dean Calvin demanded, and Mike moved faster to hug Bryan.
"I am sorry, Bryan. Please forgive me," Mike said, even though he knew that Bryan would not forgive him easily.
Bryan's expression did not change. He hugged Mike and finally stepped aside as he mumbled, "It's okay, but you should avoid me from today onwards."
Mike felt a stab in his heart, but he did not say anything. He simply nodded, and the Dean dismissed them to leave his office.
When Bryan and Mike stepped out, Mike quickly apologized again, "Bryan, I'm sorry about what happened yesterday night. I only wanted you to have fun with the girls, and I did not mean for you to end up with Kiara. I promise you it will not happen again."
"Mmm," Bryan did not say anything. He walked away quietly and went back to his lodge.

In the female's hostel, the portress, Lily Maddox, a 33-year-old lady, hastily rushed to stop Mark and the tough-looking nine bodyguards from going into the block.
"Hello, excuse me, sir. You cannot just go into the women's hostel like that. What do you want here?" Lily demanded as she wore a white top and black straight skirt, featuring a pair of black shoes.
Some female students were already preparing to leave for their homes, while some others stayed on campus.
"Madam, I am Mark Hendrix, a servant of the prestigious Anderson family in Ashland. I am looking for a female student named Kiara Collins," said Mark, as he stood with a straight face and looked at Lily Maddox.
"The Anderson's family? Why will you be looking for Miss Kiara? Did she do anything wrong? You cannot go inside there even if you are Mr. Zander Anderson," Lily said, aware of who the Anderson family is.
Lily knew the Anderson family holds strong influence in the entire of Ashland, both north, south, east, and west. They had the largest oil and several businesses, including five-star hotels.
"Mmm..." Mark's gaze narrowed at Lily, and he said, "You do not have to waste my time. I have a piece of something very important to deliver to Kiara Collins. And if you do not let us in to find her, I think it's best that you summon her to come down and see us," Mark said, his tone sharper than a knife, and Lily could sense the urgency in his tone.
"That's fine. Wait here, I will send someone to call Kiara for you. This building is for only females to use, and you cannot go in there to avoid disrupting our female students' privacy as most of them are getting ready to leave," Lily tried to explain, but Mark was not interested in the explanation.
"Then get to it ASAP," Mark ordered, and Lily went to send for someone to call Kiara.
A few minutes later, a tired-looking Kiara stepped out of the building and met the gaze of most female students peering at her.
The conversation had all been cleared off online, but the students couldn't forget it. They wondered how the topic related to Kiara and Bryan had been cleared off.
"Who cleared the topic? Did Kiara pay someone to clear all the conversation about her? Did Bryan hire someone to clear off all the trending gossips about him?"
"Aww. I feel so terrible on Bryan's behalf to be wrongly accused of being in a relationship with a fat nerd. It's a good thing that he has already cleared the air."
"Who are those handsome men outside the front of the faculty of arts female hostel?" Some girls queried and gossiped online and among themselves.
