Knight of Light: Goblins awakening

SHING, my sword sliced down the dummy's head. My training was completed. 'Heh, amateur is learning,' said Harry. Harry was in the same year as me and had the same talent as me but, he would always show off. I felt the sweat from my forehead running down my cheeks. Working as a knight was very troublesome but as my mum says, 'No pain, no gain'. The class walked into the building and out of the warmth of the blazing sun. 'Hey Pear, how was training?' my buddy, Justin asked me. 'It was reasonable, what about you?' I answered back 'It was complicated but apart from that it was incredible,' he explained. I quickly grabbed my bottle of water swallowing it as if my life depended on it. It was time for matches. I had to duel a boy called Andrew. The teacher in the room started counting. 'Three,' she says 'Two' 'One'. While she says go, I and Andrew clash with our swords. I aimed at his arm so he could drop his weapon but he swiftly dodged it. Aiming at my torso, he lunged at me and successfully attacked me. I could hear the sword pressed against my chest plate. I used the chance to get his arm again and I successfully did making him go onto the ground. My goal now was to get him off the stage. I attacked his torso and tossed him away near the end of the stage. He got up. 'I've never seen such fighting before, however, you've forgotten one thing,' he mumbled. Andrew attacks the soles of my feet making me fall. He kicked me away off the stage. I spat out a tiny amount of blood but then I knew I had lost.
