At the apex of the hierarchy were the Sacred Knights, an elite force of only twelve individuals, the most skilled and revered of all Knights. Many hailed from the seven great families, making their presence in the Ash Empire's political landscape even more significant. In parallel, the Alchemists were divided into their own categories, mastering the ancient art of alchemy to serve the empire.
