Chapter 12 Frank arrived back home on New Year’s Eve. Michigan had narrowly lost the gymnastics meet. They were behind at the end of the individual events. They won the all-around, but it wasn’t enough to make up the difference. Nevertheless, Frank felt good about his performance. He’d come in second in high bar and third on still rings in the individual, and he’d led the team in points for the all-around. His parents had watched it on the Big Ten Network and expressed their pride in him. At least his mother did. His father had merely nodded agreement when his mother voiced her joy at his performance.
