Chapter 13 The U of M had won their playoff game, and Bill was a major reason for the win. He’d played an outstanding game. Frank and his family had watched the close game, yelling themselves hoarse cheering for the team and Bill as if he were a member of the family. They hugged and jumped up and down when he scored the last-minute winning touchdown. It was the first time Frank’s father had hugged him in years. Frank watched the wintry Michigan landscape rush by the window of the bus as he rode back to school the following day. He wanted to be there to congratulate the team when they arrived back on campus that evening.
