"How did this happen" I all but yelled as I slammed another book down. "Did you find the other demon" I asked the vampire beside me. "He was frozen" he mumbled as he flicked through the pages. "Ok, so we are on our own then" I mumbled before grabbing another book and flicking through the pages. I jumped when the vampire screamed "I got it" he jumped excitedly. "What you got it" I said jumping to my feet. "You know how to unfreeze everyone" I asked as I peered at the book. Instead of seeing how to unfreeze everyone I saw the web mark on his neck. "Let me see that" I mumbled reaching for the book. He sat it in my hand and I read out loud. "The curse of the witches, witches are powerful beings who draw power from others blood. When a witch bites another supernatural being that being appears to have died but instead they are just trapped. Only the witch or a living relative may break the orbs that serve as a prison for the bitten. Once released from the prison they have a permanent mark etched into their skin where they are bitten, it is in the shape of a spiders web. The being that was bitten becomes immune to some of the witches powers. They are then bonded for life much like family" I finished looking at the vampire. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking" I asked with an idea forming. "You have to bite them" he said staring into my eyes. "Wait. Do you feel any different about me since I bit you" I asked seriously. "No only like I've known you forever" he said. As soon as the words left his mouth I walked around biting every frozen person and watched in horror as their heads fell off. "Gather the orbs" I said to the vampire. He helped me get them all and I gathered them all in a bag before flying up and dumping the bag out. "Here goes nothing I mumbled as I grabbed the vampire and pulled him up into the air right before smoke covered the ground. "Thanks" I said as I held him up effortlessly. "Yeah it's fine can you put me down now" he asked nervously. I flew down and we both landed as the smoke faded away. "Don't be mad" I said as I saw them look at each other's necks. "What did you do to us" someone mumbled, "I accidentally froze everyone except him" I said pointing to the vampire beside me. "After I bit all of you it wore off and now you all can move. It was the only solution we could find" I said nervously. My mate looked at me in shock. "What about all the wolves up stairs" he asked concerned before dashing up the stairs with me following close behind. We saw a room filled with men women and children all frozen. "I'm sorry, I can bite them" I mumbled. "Be gentle please" he mumbled. I dashed around the room biting everyone before putting all the orbs in the bag and flying them up and dumping the bag out. Smoke covered the floor and when it faded there were more people. "The book said that we would be like family. I'm sorry about everything but it was the only solution I could find" I stated before landing on the floor next to my mate. "I'm sorry it's all I could think to do" I said looking into his eyes. He nodded and looked around at everyone. It was so quiet you could hear a pen drop. No one said anything for a good few minutes before an uproar started.

Alex(Lily's mate)

"What the hell" someone yelled before running at Lily. Before I had the chance to stop her she was swinging her clawed hand at Lily's face. I was staring in horror as Lily calmly ducked and the wolf swung again. Lily continued to dodge punches and slaps from the angry wolf. Lily looked so calm almost bored, she stood tall and flapped her wings one hard time and the wolf flew into the back wall. Everyone stared agape between Lily and the wolf. "Did you see that she attacked me" the female wolf screeched as she attempted to pop her arm in place. Lily walked up to her and popped her arm back into place before calmly walking away back into the kitchen. I watched her walk away as everyone mumbled to each other. Some were glad while others were terrified of Lily. She was beautiful but very dangerous and my wolf was loving it. Before I could talk myself out of it I ran into the kitchen. There she was sitting on the chair in the corner holding her head in her hands. As I got closer I realized she was crying, "why are you crying" I asked as I sat next to her. She quickly looked up into my eyes and I saw her blood red eyes staring into me. It felt as if she was reading my whole life story, it was like she was dissecting my mind and soul. My wolf howled and she touched my face like she heard it. That is not possible, I am the only one who can communicate with my wolf but here she was responding to him. "So beautiful" she whispered before passing out. I looked at her and realized her skin was more pale than it was when I first saw her. I had been so focused on her staring into me to notice her state. Her eyes were bleeding her arm had a gash on it and canines were poking out of her mouth and sat on her lip causing her lip to bleed. I mind linked everyone I could to help her including our doctor. Within moments we were surrounded by shocked wolves and vampires. "What happened" the pack doctor said as he laid her on the table. "I do not know, she did a spell or two and had a small fight but she wasn't hit" I said as I thought back. "What's this" he asked while pointing to the plate that was in front of her when I came in. "It's a plate" I answered confused. He picked it up and sat it beside her and she automatically became more pale and her eyes started to bleed again. He moved the plate and she started looking better. "What is this made of" he asked in all seriousness. "That is a rare bronze plate dipped in a witches hazel, I'm not sure why it is out though we usually keep it locked up" I said not connecting the dots. "She's part witch and witch hazel in a poison used on witches" I all but yelled as the pieces clicked. "Will she be ok" I asked as I paced the kitchen. "Put her in a bed and let her rest. She's not only a witch she should be ok but get rid of this plate" he said. Without wasting time I picked her up and carried her to my room and put her on the bed. I went to the chair next to my bed and sat. This is going to be a long night.
