THE ALPHA'S TWIN MATE

The sun's ray is bright In the potter shop. There is a young female who pottering a pot. She wearing a pink high-neck dress and a white cardigan. The A hair stand touched her soft pink cheeks. She removes it with the back of her palm. She looks like an angel like she will bring peace to the world. She having her sweet time, her pink soft plump lips open and closed as she hummed a song. She loves nature and all the beauty all around the world. The most favored beauty of nature for her is soil. So you can make so many creative things. Since she is a child, she had this enormous love for the soil and as she grew up it only increased more. She loves the way the soil can be made in different things as having different colors, Shapes, and designs. She huffed As she finishes her pot the newly brought soil. "Elena." Hearing her name she understands her co-worker comes, she puts the pot down carefully so as not to harm the small pot and turns to her co-worker. When she turns her long hip length hazel color hair moves with her. "Alice" She hugs her co-worker with a beautiful smile which she couldn't help but return. "It's getting dark, Elena. Let's go home now." Alice tells her with worry as the dark clouds decorate the sky and the small thunders make her think it's not safe for them to stay there any longer. "Okay, but just give me a minute. I still have one more pot to finish." she requests to Alice who nods at her, unable to say no to her. With her approval, Elena quickly but happily starts decorating the pot. When she's satisfied with her work, she turns to Alice, and with her help, she walks out of the shop and to the cabin where they will change their work clothes. As they enter the room, the rain starts pouring, and Alice heaves a sigh as she stares out the window while Elena, went to change her clothes. As she finished her work earlier, she already changed and is ready to leave. A few minutes later, Elena walks out of the room and stands next to Alice. "It's raining heavily. How do we go home now?" Elena calls out watching the rain along with her. "We can't take public transportation today, Elena. Let's call a cab." Alice replies as she pulls out her phone and starts searching if any cabs available to take a cab to which Elena agrees. She books the cab and a few minutes later the cab finally arrives. They both settle in the backseat and the driver drives them to the address they ask him to. As they sit, Elena looks out of the foggy window and observes how heavy it's raining and how dark it's outside. "hnn" She moans and her hands move and rest on her swollen belly, gently caressing the bump. She's eight months pregnant. A smile forms on her lips when the baby kicks her feeling the presence of her hand. She smiles as she looks down. Maybe because of the weather or because of staring at her belly, she goes back to her past as remembers it. Elena was an orphan, she doesn't know what happened to her parents, whether they died or left her. When she started growing up and came to know things, she used to ask the orphan head why was she there and whether she had parents or not. The only reply she got was that they don't know about her family. She said when she was a newborn baby, she was placed at the doorsteps of their orphanage and they took them in. She asked her not just once but a few times hoping one or the other time, she would tell her about her parents but every time the answer was the same and after one point she stopped thinking about her parents. She decided to go on with her life. With the facilities available at the orphanage, She studied well, and once she reached 18, she left the place. From then on, she worked many jobs to raise enough money for her studies and living. It was hard but she managed. When she finally graduated, she landed a job that paid her well. Her life, though it wasn't easy, she was happy and content about it. That was until someone new joined her workplace. His name was Alex, he was the newly appointed head manager of the Department where Elena worked. Elena who is always an introverted and reserved person, never really paid any attention to Alex. She always thought that she will meet her special one and live her whole life with him. But Alex liked Elena from the first time he laid his eyes on her. He slowly took the opportunity and pursued Elena after chasing her for almost a year. He was a good guy with a very friendly nature, and happy to be around a person that Elena couldn't help but accept. She just accepted because Alex showed her the love she always wanted from anyone who will there for her every time she want them. It was just acceptance, Elena neither loved him nor liked him as a boyfriend, she always saw Alex as a friend where there was no love involved. They started dating and were together for six months, they were more like mere acquaintances than lovers. But Alex was happy with it as long as he has Elena with him. And to Elena it didn't matter, after all, she didn't love Alex. During those six months, one night Alex took Elena on a date where they ended up drinking more than required and because of the heat of the moment, they happen to sleep together. Elena doesn't remember a thing and Alex was almost the same, he didn't do that intentionally so Elena didn't do a big mess of it. Elena just let it go. But how would she know that one night would change his life? Exactly a month later, she started feeling sick and when she visited the hospital, she found out she was pregnant. She was shocked as it was something she didn't expect. She was sacred however, the doctor assured her that her baby is okay. As much as it was too much to take in, Elena was happy with the news. After all, she's going to have her own family now. She promised herself that she was going to shower her baby with all the love which she always carved and wanted as a child. She was happy, really happy throughout her life. She decided to tell Alex about this, whether he accepts or not because Alex has the right to know. Elena tells Alex about her pregnancy. Alex's reaction was something she already expected. Alex didn't believe her at first but when Elena showed him the ultrasound with the date and her name he got stunned. He called her a freak. For Alex, it was all too much. Alex doesn't want to have a baby with Elena. Alex asked her to abort the baby. Elena slapped him hard on his cheek and went away her way. But Alex still followed her, he wanted Elena but not the baby which angered Elena because he said Elena is a freak but still is behind her. And Elena wanted the baby, not Alex. So, she made a decision. she resigned from the job and left the city and, the whole state. She would be happy with her baby as long as she's away from Alex. She moved to a new city. she is staying and brought a small studio apartment. She got a job at the Potter shop and she liked work in there. There she got to know Alice. Alice always approached her first and took care of her. Elena liked her because she was like a big sister to her, which she never had. She was reluctant to tell Alice about her pregnancy because she thought she would be the same as Alex. However, Alice jumped in happiness when she accidentally found out. Alice became even more concerned about her and took very good care of her. "Elena, are you listening?" Alice calls Elena who snaps out of her thoughts. "Oh! Yeah, what is it?" Elena asks Alice, finally putting a stop to her thoughts. "I already reached my house." She states showing her the house through the window, "I'm going now, call me as soon as you reach home." "Okay, bye." Elena smile and agrees with her. Alice nods and gets down from the car and goes into the house after waving at her. The driver pulls up and continues to drive. Elena is still looking at the dark cloud with thunderstorms. She is scared of thunderstorms. She is always alone she remembered the time when she sleeps her orphanage room. She remembers how much she was scared when she looked out at the window while thunderstorms. She places her hand on her swelling belly. "I am not alone anymore" she murmured. . "Why are you taking me this way?" Elena questions the driver as he drives from a different road from what Elena always takes. "The other road got blocked as a tree fell because of the rains, ma'am." The driver replies. With that Elena stays silent but feels the usual pain as her baby kicks her hard. It's as if the baby is restless. Elena rubs her belly trying to soothe the baby. "Why are you kicking mama? please calm down" She said while rubbing her belly. She is looking down One second and the next she got lean forward and hit the back of the driver's seat when the car got bumped into the other. Her belly hits hard on the seat and she lets out a scream while holding her belly, praying the baby would be fine, as she loses consciousness. She can only hear an ambulance voice. Not knowing her prayer is never going to be fulfilled.
