"Auby, if you don't come out now I'm going to throw all your chocolate ice creams out," Bella screams at top of her lungs from the living room with both her hands on her hips.
"Honey, calm down, she'll come around," Xavier says trying to calm his wife.
Bella turn and looked at her husband angrily "You shut up! You're the root cause of her behavior. If only you didn't allow her to eat ice cream whenever she wants, if only you didn't make her develop the habit of eating ice cream, she won't be like this." Bella scolds Xavier which makes him pout immediately.
"But honey it's just once," Xavier mumbles getting himself into more trouble.
"Yeah, once every day. Do you think it's good to eat ice cream every day? She was sick just two days ago. Why do you allow her to eat in the first place?" Bella complaints.
"Umm, what can I do? I can't stop giving her one when she asks me with a sad face and smiles immediately when I give her one. Because it makes her happy, I'll give her whenever she asks me."
Xavier responds and pulls Bella to him, making her sit on his lap. Bella sighed and hug Xavier "What makes her happy also makes her sick, you know that right? and when she gets sick it makes me sad" Bella sighs relaxing in Xavier's embrace.
"Hmm, know, I promise I'll not give her any more ice creams," Xavier says nuzzling his face in Bella's neck.
Bella smiled when she hears Xavier's words
"You always promise that and always break the promise. Will you keep your promise if I die?" Bella whispers in a calm tone, now completely normal.
"Bella! how many times have I told you not to talk about something like that? It's not good to say that, don't ever do that again." Xavier raises his voice a little, he doesn't like when Bella talks about death. It disturbs him completely. Bella hugs him tightly "I know, I know, it's not like I'm leaving you anytime. Even if I did, you're going to follow me like my soul." Bella chuckles making Xavier smile.
"Of course, I'm going to follow you anywhere you go," Xavier says and places a kiss on Bella's cheek.
"Mama." Calls Aubrey as she walks into the room and stands in front of them with a toothy grin.
Looking at her, Xavier burst into laughter while Bella shakes her head before getting up from Bella's lap and moving to her. She crouches down to match her height and stares her straight in the eyes.
"Mama, I promise I didn't eat ice cream," Aubrey says, her voice soft and bubbly.
"Yeah sure, I can see that myself." Bella chuckles while wiping the cream that's smuggled around her mouth and on her cheeks.
When Bella finishes cleaning her face, she immediately runs to Xavier and jumps on him. Xavier catches her in his hands.
"Thank you, papa." She whispers in his ears only for him to hear.
"Anything for you, Auby," Mew whispers back while kissing her sides.
"Enough you both, just know that I can still hear your whispering," Bella states and gets up, walking to the elevator.
Like the good puppies that they are, Xavier and Aubrey follow her behind. Getting into the elevator, they go to their room, and Aubrey tags along with them. After her first year birthday, they arranged a room for her. Bella wanted her to be with them when she was months old after which she was fine with her having her room. Her room is just beside theirs though, so now she's completely fine with that.
"Argh! I don't want to go." Xavier groans as his eyes fall on his luggage which they prepared this morning.
"It's just one day, don't be dramatic my dear husband." Bella chuckles while helping Auby to get on the bed and sits next to her.
"I know but I'm still going to miss our home, Auby, and most importantly you, Honey," Xavier replies with a pout as he settles beside Bella and pulls her into his embrace.
"We'll miss you as well. But it's just one day, so we'll be fine. Also, you can call me whenever you want, Auby and I will talk to you anytime you want." Bella replies making Xavier feel a bit better.
Xavier is going to another city for a business meeting. He'll be leaving in the evening and resting the night in a hotel before he attends the meeting the next morning. His previous plan was to go tomorrow itself but the meeting is so early and traveling takes time. So he and his team who's accompanying him are leaving tonight and tomorrow immediately after the meet, they'll be returning. So Xavier is pouting and whining as he won't be there for a day.
"Stop whining, who knows you might as well get a surprise when you return tomorrow." Bella states with a mischievous smile, hinting about a surprise that makes Xavier excited.
"Surprise? What surprise? Are you going to surprise me tomorrow when I return?" Xavier queries eagerly while grinning like an i***t as he looks at Bella.
"Maybe, maybe not." Bella shrugs surpassing a smile.
"Honey, don't tease me. Tell me what is it." Xavier whines blinking his eyes repeatedly.
"Silly, it won't be a surprise if I tell you." Bella laughs at Xavier. "Fine, don't tell me then. I'll anyway know about it tomorrow." Xavier finally agrees to let it go. The day passes by and Xavier leaves for his meeting. Bella and Auby spend the day playing, watching movies, or simply being with each other. When it's night, they eat dinner and get to bed. "Mama, do we eating ice cream?"Aubrey asks Bella as they walk around the mall.
After having their lunch, not knowing what to do, Bella and Auby made their way to the mall. The driver drove them to the mall and is following them all the way. Usually, if Xavier is where the driver won't follow them around. But now as Xavier isn't here, the driver must not just drive them but follow them everywhere for safety reasons.
In a few more hours, Xavier would be back home and Bella can't wait to surprise him. But then she has to wait until then. Being at home she constantly remembered about it and got all anxious by herself. So, she thought to go out to divert her mind and when she asked Aubrey if she would like to go to the mall, she agreed immediately.

Bella looked at her daughter who was looking at her with puppy eyes she is so cute She smile Now she understand how can't Xavier reject his daughter "Umm, we'll eat." Bella agrees, much to her surprise, "but only one. You shouldn't later create a scene by crying or being stubborn for asking more. If you agree to eat only one, then I'll agree to buy."
"Okay, mama. One is enough." Aubrey accepts Bella's condition. If not she wouldn't even get one.
Nodding at her, Bella brings her to the ice cream parlor and takes their seats. She asks the driver to bring them the chocolate ice cream for Aubrey as she knows it's her favorite. She won't order anything for himself because she doesn't feel like eating. When the driver brings the ice cream, Auby enjoys it and Bella just smiles seeing her. Soon, she finishes eating and they leave the shop. As they walk out and turn to the corner, Bella halts her steps when her eyes land on a lady standing in the other store. She's smiling as she's looking through something and Bella narrows her eyes as she gazes at her. Her head starts hurting as she continues to stare at her. She feels something like she know her before. Vivid memories and events play in her mind. As the intensity of the memories increase, the pain also increases to the point that it becomes unbearable to her. She clutches her head tightly but the pain won't stop. She groans a little before her body collapses onto the floor while her vision blanks out.
The driver immediately helps her up and takes her to the car. He calls the parents and informs the news to them. They tell him to bring her home and that they're also on their way. Aubrey cries as she holds Bella's fingers tightly in her tiny hand.
When they reach the house, the parents are already there and they bring Bella inside the house. They lay her on the bed and just then doctor Jack arrives. They called him on the way, informing him about Bella's situation. He checks Bella and finds nothing wrong.
"I don't find anything wrong, let's wait for him to wake up."Doctor jack says and they wait for Bella to wake up.
A few minutes pass by and Bella groans before she slowly opens her eyes.
"Bella, are you okay?" Mrs. Selena asks worriedly. But the words Bella uttered in response made them all freeze.
