"My name is Elena!"

"B-Bella, what are you saying?" Mr. Benz asks nervously.

"Elena, my name is Elena. I'm not Bella." Elena says sitting up straight and putting her legs down, her eyes looking at every one of them.

"You remembered your past?" Doctor Jack queries, sweat forming on his face and in his palms.

"Why?" Elena asks one simple question.

"Bella, please listen t.." Before Mr. David could finish, Elena cuts him off.

"I'm not Bella, don't call me that," Elena states sadly.

She lived her three whole years pretending to someone that she isn't. At least then she didn't know she was pretending "why did you all do this?" Elena repeats her previous unanswered question.

"We'll tell you everything, Elena. But first and important of all, we're sorry for what we did. We don't ask for your forgiveness, we don't deserve it. But we hope you understand our reason." Mrs. Selena states with a tear sliding down her cheek.

"Bella is our daughter. She and Xavier are married and when Bella was pregnant, they meet with an accident. The accident where you were also involved. Bella couldn't make it alive. We were scared of what Xavier's reaction would be because Xavier loves Bella more than anything in this world. We already lost Bella, we didn't want to lose Xavier as well. That was when doctor Jack showed you and suggested that we would take you in place of Bella as you lost your memory. We talked to your friend, and only after her acceptance, did we bring you here as Bella. We don't have any other motives behind this except for saving me." Mrs. Selena explains what took place three years ago.

"I-is Auby m-my baby?" Elena questions them after hearing everything. Her voice shuttered and her heart beats rapidly regarding what she was going to hear. someone and thought she was what they called her. But now, after knowing who she is and what is she, she can't still be pretending to be someone. She's Elena, that's how she wants people to recognize her. She's not Bella, she's Elena.

"Okay, Elena, first please calm down." Doctor Jack states trying to calm Elena.

"N-no, Aubrey is Bella and Xavier's child. Your baby died in the accident. He was a baby boy, we did his ritual along with Bella." Mrs. Aom says breaking Elena's heart.

Tears flow out of her eyes uncontrollably and her heart clutches losing the only person she ever had and ever wanted. She remembers how she used to be and how she wanted her child in her life. She remembers how the baby was only the thing making her breathe and now learning that her baby isn't anymore is breaking her heart into million pieces.

She lost her baby, A sob come out of her. She places her hand on her mouth. She sobbed loudly. She realized the one she loves isn't her, to begin with, the baby whom she thinks isn't her own, and the family she thought as she isn't her anymore. Nothing is her, nothing is true. She was living in a lie, she was a pawn in their game. Everyone is looking at the pitiful soul of Elena who was crying like she lost everything. She tries to calm herself and wipe her tears She can't be here anymore, she doesn't have a reason to. She furiously wipes her tears and stands up to leave. She doesn't even take a step when a small body stops her by tightly hugging her legs.

"Mama," Aubrey calls her making a new set of tears leave her eyes. Removing her hands, she knees in front of her and looks at her with tears. Though she isn't her, she loved her all this time. She still loves her as her own, to her Aubrey is her even if she didn't birth her. Even if she isn't her flesh and blood, she's her child. Elena kiss Aubrey all over the face. She loves her more than anything. Aubrey makes her mother.

Seeing her mama crying, Aubrey also ends up crying. Elena wipes her tears and pulls her to her, hugging her tightly. Aubrey wraps her hands around Elena's neck and clings to her. Elenakissess her hair and rubs her back in a comforting manner. They stay like that for a few minutes and after some time, Elena feels Aubrey going limp in her hands. Gently checking her, she sees her sleeping. Holding up her in her hands, she presses a kiss on her forehead and gives her to Mrs. Selena. She was still looking at Aubrey. She can't imagine her life without her but she is a fake person she is not her mother.

"Elena, what are you doing?" Mrs. Aom asks when Elena heads to the door.

"I-I'm leaving, can't pretend to be Bella anymore after remembering my past. Also, it would be good to let X-Xavier know about this. He wouldn't like this. After being here and seeing how much he loves Bella, I can't continue to act as Bella and deceive Xavier." Elena whispers, audible enough for everyone to hear.

"Elena, please wait, you can't leave like this." Doctor Jack tries to stop Elena.

Without minding what doctor Jack and others are saying, Elena makes her way to the door and her steps halt when she finds Xavier standing there. Doctor Jack and their parents who are following Elena, also stop in their tracks and widen their eyes seeing Xavier.

"Xavier, did you come just now?" Mr. Benz asks, worried whether Xavier heard their conversation.

However, Xavier doesn't answer them. He continues to stare at Elena who is a crying mess. Elena couldn't stop her tears seeing Xavier, seeing the person she ended up loving but now realizing she isn't whom Xavier loves. Heck! Xavier doesn't even know that Elena exists, to Xavier Elena is just nobody. That reality hits her hard and aches her heart. Everything is happening at once and she doesn't know how to take it in.

"I was here when she said she isn't Bella and I heard the whole conversation," Xavier replies with a hard voice while his eyes gaze at Elena. His stare towards Elena changed, this isn't the way he looks at her, Elena easily realized that. But what can she do, she isn't Bella for Xavier to look at her with love.

"Xavier, let's all talk together and see why.." Mrs. Benz goes to say to sit and talk together but Xavier stops his father by raising his hand.

Without saying anything, with one last look at Elena, Xavier walks past her and all the others standing there before going to the elevator and going to their room. Elena was standing like a statue. Elena's tears flowed nonstop and realizing she isn't needed here anymore, she leaves the house even when the parents try to stop her. She walks aimlessly on the roads for almost the remaining of the whole day before she finally comes to a stop in front of the door. She knocks once but the door doesn't get open. She knocks again and again until finally, the door gets open revealing Alice who is annoyed by the continuous disturbance.

When she sees Elena, her eyes widen and don't know what to say. Why is Elena here after all these years? She thinks to herself. During these three years, as promised, the parents kept informing her about Elena's well-being. Though she know what she did wasn't exactly right, she at least felt good to hear Elena was happy at their home and being with me. But now suddenly seeing her here, right in front of her, she won't know what to say or what lead to Elena here. Did she remember everything? Is that why she's here? She thinks again. She also doesn't know if she should address her as Elena or as Bella.

"Why did you do this, Alice?" Elena asks her the question which she asked others.

Hearing those words and her calling her Alice made her understand she remembered everything and that she regained her memory.

"Elena?" She calls out, voice trembling and anxious.

"Yes, I'm Elena. I regained my memory." Elena answers her.

"I'm sorry, Elena." Alice apologizes for the first thing when Elena reveals herself.

Hurriedly, she pulls her inside the house and hugs her tightly. Elena's tears stream down and this time meen cries along with her. She holds Elena for long minutes until she calms down and once she does, she helps her to sit. Going to the kitchen, she brings her a glass of water.

Elena drinks water and puts the glass down before silencing them. They stay silent for some time before she asks her what happened. Elena explains everything and how she regained her memory after seeing her in the mall.

"I'm really sorry for doing this, Elena, but I didn't mean to betray you. I only agreed to do this because you would get to be with the baby. I was scared of what will happen to you when you learn that you lost your baby immediately after walking up after the accident in the hospital. I didn't do this just for them but for you as well." Alice explains.

Elena just listens to her without saying anything, anyway, now she can't do anything. Everything has already been done. Though she did that to help her, in the end, the damage has already been done. She fell for someone who she shouldn't and she sees someone as her daughter who is not her. If she thought she would be hurt then, she's feeling the pain 100 times more now.
