It's been a day since Elena left Xavier's house and is staying at Alice's. She doesn't want to be a burden to her but now she's not really in the right mind to do anything. Understanding her situation, Alice herself asked Elena to stay at her house for a few days, at least until her mind settles down.

This morning, by the time she woke up Alice, was already out to work. As she lived in Xavier's mansion for three years where there was a maid for every work, She developed the habit of sleeping until she feels contented. She doesn't wake up that early and thus she ended up waking up a bit later than Alice by then she already left to work. Alice prepared breakfast and placed it on the table and put a sticky note which says for her to eat her breakfast. She just read the note and left it like that. She has no appetite to eat.

Every day, she used to wake up with Xavier kissing her morning kiss, and together they would make their way to Auby's room. They used to wake her up and all of them would eat breakfast together. So now, she doesn't feel like eating it alone. Without her husband's teasing her and her daughter's laughter resonating in the room, She can't bring herself to eat. Just as She thought this, her eyes widen. What is she even thinking? Xavier isn't her husband and Auby isn't her daughter now. She learned the truth but somehow she can't accept it. She can't stop thinking about them, who became the most important people in her life. Knowingly or unknowingly, She keeps thinking about them all day long and her mind wanders to them.

The ringing of the doorbell snaps her out of her thoughts and she wipes her tears before standing up and walking to the door. Whenever she thinks about them, which is always, she ends up crying. Though it's just been a day it became her routine.

When she opens the door mindlessly, a body jumps on her and she blinks her eyes to find Xavier's and Bella's parents. She looks down to see Auby holding onto her legs tightly. Controlling her tears which pooled in her eyes, She bend down and hugs her to her and kiss her. She missed her so much, just a day but she still missed her because these three years there wasn't a single day when she left her daughter. Three of them would stick to each other like magnets.

"Mama, I miss you. Why you left?" Ruby cries into her neck as she hugs her.

Elena doesn't answer anything. What should she answer her though? That she isn't her mama and that she isn't Xavier's wife. She can't bring herself to say those words. It's breaking her heart to even think about it.

"Elena, can we go inside and talk? We have something to talk to you about." Mrs. Selena requests making Elena nod.

She allows them in and motions them to sit on the small couch as she sits in a single chair with Aubrey in her lap as she refuses to leave her. Silence engulfs the room but she doesn't mind it. She's fully involved herself with Aubrey as she rubs her back in a soothing manner. It feels great to hold her again and it makes her happy.

"Elena," When Mr. David calls her, Elena looks up at her, ready to listen to them.

"Sorry for coming here and disturbing you again, but we want to ask you a favor." Mr. David starts trying to be as requestive as possible.

"What is it?" Elena queries, willing to help them if it's of her capacity not minding that they just used her. until now and are going to do the same now.

"We want you to keep Aubrey with you for some days until Xavier gets better. She's not staying with us. She's asking for you and Xavier, crying for you both. Xavier is not in a proper state to look after her so we came to you. When Xavier gets better, we'll come and get her." Mrs. Aom explains.

"What happened to Xavier?" Elena asks her immediately with worry.

"Elena..he locked himself in his room and isn't coming out or letting anyone in. He's not answering us. He's not eating. He isolated himself. We're scared of what is happening to him but before that, we wanted to keep Aubrey safe. So, please, let her stay with you for a few days." Xavier's mother tells Elena what's happening.

Taking her time, Elena thinks about him. Again,

they're using her. They want to leave Aubrey here with her for their reasons and take her back. when things settle with Xavier. They're not thinking

about Elena's situation. What would happen to her when they take her away after being with her? He would end up suffering again by losing her. But still, she decides to agree to their request even knowing the consequences.

"Okay, I'll keep Aubrey with me. Take care of Xavier." Elena accepts.

"Thank you, Elena." They thank her and get up to leave.

Before they could leave, Elena stops them. There is something she wants to ask them. She was thinking to ask Alice but she didn't get the right time to do so. She knows even they can answer her question, so she wants to ask them.

"My b-baby, I want to see h-him. Can you take me to where he's oriented?" Elena requested, and a big lump formed in her throat making it difficult for her to utter those words.

"Umm..okay, would you like to visit now?" Mr. Benz agrees after glancing at the others and asks when Elena would like to visit.

"Now, I want to visit now," Elena replies eagerly.

Nodding at Elena, they walk out of the house signaling her to follow. Elena follows them and leaves the house. She locks it with the spare keys Alice left with them and goes to the cemetery. The driver goes in silence as none of them speak a word.

It doesn't take long for them to reach the burial ground and when the car stop, sadness washes over Elena. Finally, the reality of losing his child registers in his mind, and each step She takes to the cemetery becomes hard and unbearable.

When they stop in front of Bella's and the baby cemetery, Elena takes Aubrey with her and falls onto his knees. She lifts her hand and caresses the tombstone with tears in her eyes. She couldn't bring herself to believe she lost her child and been happy with life not knowing about it. They all thought not telling her about the death of her son at that time would benefit her and wouldn't be that painful to know about it later. But what they all failed to realize is whether it was then or now, she feels the same amount of pain for losing her child.

She cries and cries for the loss of her child, she cries for all those years during which she didn't and cries not knowing about it. She cries her heart out. The others let her, they feel that's at least something they should let her do, to cry for her loss and let out of the pain. They just stand and wait for her. When Elena finally calms down, She looked at Bella's cemetery then she look at Auby standing next to her. "I am sorry that three years I take your place." Elena takes Aubrey's hand and touches Bella's cemetery "She is your daughter, Bella, but for me, she is my world. Please take care of my son over there and promises you I will take care of your daughter here" She starts crying. they help her up and bring her to the car. They drive her to Alice's house and drop her there.

"Thank you." Elena thanked them for taking her to see her baby.

"Don't mention, Elena. It's the least we could do." Mrs. Selena mentions.

With a nod at them, She carries Aubrey and gets down the car. Unlocking the door, She walks in and into the guest roch that Alice told her to use. She settles Aubrey on the bed and stands up to leave.

"Mama, where you going?" Aubrey asks while stopping her. She looked her with fond eyes "I'll get something for you to eat, Auby." She tells her with a smile after which she lets go of her hand.

Going to the kitchen, She plates some fruits and a glass of juice before bringing it to Aubrey. She helps her eat as she sits on her lap.

"Mama, when we go back home? I miss papa, he no talks to me for two days." Ruby says to Elena with a sad voice.

"Soon, Auby. Your papa is going to come and take you soon." Elena replies truthfully, it's only Aubrey who's going to go back to Xavier, not her.

"What about you, mama?" Aubrey queries.

To Aubrey's question, she doesn't answer. What To Auby's question she doesn't answer. What should she answer anyway? It's her who loves Xavier, if Xavier would come and ask her to go with her, without any restraint she'll go with Xavier. But it's just her wishful thinking. Xavier loved her only because he thought she was Bella. Xavier loves Bella, not her. The only person she ever loved isn't going to get her. Her life is back to being alone.
