With a determined mind, Bella turns around to talk to Xavier and ask him about her life. But when her eyes find Xavier who is working keenly on the files on the system, she decides to wait until Xavier is done with work and sits on the couch which is laying on one side of the room. She grabs a business magazine and just flips through the pages. Her mind is too busy with thoughts to actually read the magazine and also she can't seem to understand anything even when she attempts to read. A few minutes later, she closes the magazine before placing it back in its place and decides to wait for Xavier.

A long hour passes by, and that's when Bella hears a sigh and comes out of her daze before looking at Xavier. While waiting, Bella almost went to sleep. Xavier closes all his files and turns off the system before he gets up and walks to Bella. Seeing his wife done with work, Bella stands up from the couch by the time mew is in front of her.

"Done with your work?" Bella gently asks me. who hugs him.

Humming at Bella in response, Xavier swings them from one side to another. He's exhausted. Previously, he used to work for many hours without any rest and would still be fine. But now, he worked only for an hour but he's really in need of rest. This tells him how his body is still not ready for everything and that he also needs to rest until he's back to being healthy. But he can't neglect his work so he decided to work an hour every day, in that way he'll keep his health in check and his work as well.

"Xavier, there's something want to ask." Bella requests while still being in Xavier's embrace.

"What is it?" Xavier queries not letting go of the hug.

"Can we sit and talk?" Hearing the seriousness in Bella's voice, Xavier pulls away and nods the Xavier as he makes Bella sit and settles himself next to Bella.

"What is it?" Xavier questions when Bella stays silent.

"Um.. want to know about me, what kind of person was before the accident." Bella put forth her query while keeping her head down.

Lifting Bella's head Xavier looks at him then with a finger "and why is that?"

"Because everything feels so new to me. Though I lost my memory, when I see all these I should feel the familiarity. But, no, I don't feel it even a bit. I feel new to myself like I'm not the person who belongs here." Bella states his feelings.

"If it makes you feel talk I'll tell you but never again say you don't belong here or that you aren't the person who we think you are. Okay?" Xavier thinks it's better to tell type a little about them as if it means it'll make her understand better. But before that, he wants Bella to promise not to bring up the unnecessary topic of saying she doesn't belong here, to her.

"Okay." Bella agrees immediately,

"you are a strong person, Bella, both mentally and physically. You were not, the person who tolerate any kind of nonsense and when people tried it, you used to give them flying fingers before knocking some sense into them. You were also the kind of person who loves to do everything on your own, you wouldn't take help from anyone, not even me. When you love someone, you give your all to them. The good things being said, you had a foul mouth. You curse and punch people more than talk. And I can gladly say I'm at the top of the list when it comes to it." Xavier chuckles as he talks about Bella's personality.

"Despite that, maybe the only flaw, I loved you more than myself and I still do. And you do the same to me. You mean everything to me, if anything were to happen to you during the accident I wouldn't be able to live." Xavier confesses and feels a pang of sadness at the thought of losing Bella.

"Now, I don't want to hear again you saying you aren't you," Xavier warns him playfully.

"I won't anymore." Bella says remorseful but she needed this, "actually the reason why I asked you about myself is that I felt that you loved how I used to be and you would love me when I regain my memory and go back to my before self. Because now I'm becoming more dependent on you and I'm nowhere near to what you described me."

"Bella, I loved the past you, I love the present you and I'm going to love the future you, the time doesn't matter, you are all that matters. Don't think that I don't love you now. I know you changed a little from how you used to be. Like how now you depend on me for a few things, you have become so calm and talk so softly. It feels like you think about others' feelings before you say anything. And honestly, I also like this new personality of yours. No doubt I loved your strong personality before but there were times when I felt you could depend on me for things and not always try on your own. So that I could share your hardships instead of you carrying on your own.

So, I love the new traits of you and I do love the new you." Xavier explains so that Bella could understand his feelings.

"I love you too." Bella couldn't stop herself from uttering those words.

The way Xavier confessed to him and described their love, Bella could feel it in herself. she replied to Xavier's confession not just because she felt she should also say I love you to Xavier. But she did because she felt the love for Xavier in herself. Even without her memory, she's slowly falling for Xavier again, or rather her new self in falling in love.

"I know you do, who can resist the handsome and perfect Xavier ?" Xavier smirks cheekily, completely changing the atmosphere and bringing a smile to Bella's face.

"No one can." Bella wiggles her eyes as she plays along with Xavier

They both burst into laughter at their silliness before finally leaving the office room and going back to their room. Reaching the room, they thank aunt jane for looking after baby Aubrey while they were busy with work. Before leaving, aunt jane says that she feed baby Aubrey just a few minutes ago before putting her to sleep and that they don't need to worry if she doesn't wake up anytime soon. Thanking her again, they nod at her and she finally leaves. Having nothing to do, they lay on the bed and rested for a while until aunt jane said baby Aubrey slept for a long and woke up after they finished eating lunch. Seeing her cry, Bella carries her and walks to the bed. she sits on the bed with her in her hands and Xavier watches them with a loving smile before sitting next to Bella. After feeding the baby, Bella still keeps the baby with her as the baby is not sleeping Baby Aubrey is wide awake and is happily playing in Bella's lap, Xavier, and Bella couldn't help the smile which appears seeing her happy.

"I wonder who is she going to like more!" Bella mumbles smiling widely at her.

"Of course, me. You know father and daughter share a close relationship and are a team. So, it's going to be me." Xavier says confidently as a matter of fact.

"I'm her mother !" Bella resorts immediately.

"You'll be the mother because you gave birth and I'm the father," Xavier replies with a grin, just to tease Bella.

"What?" Bella asks him surprised but decides to play along with Xavier, "even so if I'm the mother then baby Aubrey is going to be different from others and is going to be close to her mama, right Aubrey?"

Bella looks down at the baby and shakes her head earning a soft giggle from her. Looking at Xavier with a big smile, Bella says to Xavier taking her giggle as yes, "see she's agreeing to me."

Xavier's big eyes widen even more and he looks at Bella and the baby before letting out a pout, "it's not fair daughter should team up with mother. Natty shouldn't do this to me."

"Poor you because that's not going to happen. In this household, it's going to be a mama and Aubrey," Bella states with a chuckle, "right, baby."

To this, the baby giggles again while throwing her hands and legs in the air making Bella laugh and huff. The Bella looks at them and sticks her tongue out, teasing him.

"You both do this and in no time I'll make your mama pregnant again with a baby boy before teaming up with him against you," Xavier says and smirks

And this time it's Xavier's turn to stick out his tongue and Bella becomes a blushing mess because of Xavier's words.

Because since they discharge from the hospital they never have a proper kiss. Thinking about having s*x with Xavier Bella turns red.
