"Xavier, tell me for real, you're scared of horror movies, right?" Bella questions her husband who right now is behaving just like a little kid.

In the dark room where the only source of light is from the screen where the movie is being played, then they sat on the bed. Their backs comfortably rested on the headboard as they lay on the bed and a soft fluffy comforter covers them by providing warmth. Well, it's only one who is comfortable as he watches the movie because the other is not seemingly comfortable even in the least. Xavier laying so close to Bella and hiding his huge body behind the much smaller frame of his wife. His face is buried in the crook of Bella's neck and his hands are so tightly wrapped around Bella's waist.

After Bella asked him for picking the genre of horror, Xavier complied with Bella's words and put on a horror movie, at least the one he feels less scared by seeing the poster. Turned out the poster betrayed the storyline because the movie is more horrific than any other movies he heard of before, not watched just heard off.

"I-I'm not scared, honey." Xavier denies it and lets out a small scream when the gore figure shows up on the screen.

"Yes, you're indeed scared, Xavier. You hide behind me, your body is shivering and you're screaming now and then. I'm scared you'll wake up baby Aubrey." Bella says after pausing the movie.

Though Xavier is not watching the movie, he's peeking from Bella's neck at a few intervals and he ended up screaming all those times.

"If I didn't lose my memory, I would have remembered that you're scared to watch horror movies." Bella's remarks make me groan. Bella always made fun of Xavier for being a scary cat when it comes to horror things.

"honey, for real I'm not scared. I just don't want to watch the movie because it's not even scary. And I'm not hiding behind you, I'm just cuddling you. I'm screaming not because I'm scared but because I'm trying to scare you." Xavier just blabbed nonsense to keep his face in front of his wife.

"Okay," Bella states to satisfy Xavier. He kinda feels guilty for even suggesting the movie. If only she remembered well, she would know her husband is not into these movies, "but let's stop for today. I'm feeling sleepy now." she suggests not to scare Xavier anymore.

"Sure, let's sleep now. Next time we'll find better and actual scary movies." Xavier replies with a smile and immediately turns off the TV. He's so relieved now.

Lying on the bed, Bella lets out a yawn and closes her eyes to sleep. On the other hand, as soon as Xavier closed his eyes the movie images of ghosts and blood surfaced in his mind. He feels it's as if those are just above him and would attack him the second he opens his eyes. He does know it's just the feeling and nothing that sought happens. But still, he can't shake the feeling off and sleep. So, he resorts to his Wife's help.

"Honey," Xavier calls typing in a whisper-like voice.

"Mhh, what is it?" Bella queries turning a little, she's still wrapped in Xavier's hands.

"You can hug me back, you know so that you won't be scared during your sleep." In Xavier's words,

"How can the Alpha of the Rodriguez pack scare some imaginary things?"Bella chuckles without any sound which goes unnoticed by Xavier in the dark room.

"Thank you, Xavier," Bella says and fully turns to Xavier before bringing her hands and hugging him.

"No problem, anything for my lovely Wife," Xavier states quickly before letting out a sigh of relief and closing his eyes.

And this time he won't see anything scary anymore and sleeps peacefully. With one last glance at Xavier, Bella also closes her eyes and drifts off to sleep.

The morning they wake up to the sound of their baby crying. Opening Bella's eyes, Bella looks past Xavier to the cradle where baby Aubrey is crying. She untangles herself from Xavier and just as she does that, Xavier wakes up missing the warmth of his wife. While Xander sits up on the bed and rubs his eyes, Bella gets down from the bed and goes to the cradle. She gently lifts baby Aubrey from the cradle and cuddles her on her chest. That makes her cries slow down but doesn't stop completely.

"I'll make her the bottle," Xavier says as he walks to them, and Bella nods at him.

While Xavier prepares the bottle, Bella puts the baby Aubrey back in the cradle and changes her. When Xavier finishes making the bottle, they feed her and while drinking the milk, baby Aubrey slowly goes back to sleep. When she is almost done and Bella pulls the bottle away. Wiping her mouth clean, Bella covers her properly. After that, they both get washed up and leave downstairs for breakfast. By the time they're down, they find their parents already sitting at the table, freshly dressed and ready.

"Morning, everyone." Xavier bellows happily making the others look at them.

"Oh! Morning to you too Xavier and Bella you too." Their parents greet them back and Bella nods at them in acknowledgment before taking a seat followed by Xavier.

The maids start serving breakfast and they eat in comfortable silence. After breakfast, the parents leave bidding goodbye to them and telling them to call them immediately if they need anything or if anything were to happen. Sending their parents off, Xavier and Bella walk back into the house.

Instead of going to the elevator to their room, Xavier walks to the office room where he would work for some time. And Bella just follows him not knowing if she should go to their room or follow Xavier.

"Awe, Honey you didn't go back to our room?" Xavier asks Bella surprised when he goes to close the door. He entered the office and was about to close the door only to find Bella standing there.

"No, I just followed you," Bella replies, slowly peeking into the office.

"Do you want to come in then?" Xavier queries seeing how Bella is looking inside.

This office isn't new to Bella, he had worked numerous times in here but it's new to the present Bella. Because she doesn't remember anything, Xavier feels maybe Bella is excited to see how the office is.

"Sure," Bella agrees excitedly with a wide smile that drops immediately, "maybe not, we left baby Aubrey alone in the room."

"No worries, baby. I already informed aunt Jane to go and look after the baby while we eat. I'll just tell her to be there for some more time until we go back." Xavier suggests making Bella nod at him.

He holds Bella's hands and brings her in before closing the door. He leads Bella to the desk that's sitting in the middle of the room and picks up the office phone to call aunt jane. There are landline mobile devices in each room within the house to communicate. Just after a few rings, she answers the call and Xavier informs her to stay there until they return as now he's going to work for some time and that Bella will be with him. Aunt jane agrees and they hang the call.

Aunt jane is one of the maids who has been working for me for so long, almost from the time he was a baby. She's also a very trusted person. She looked after him when his parents were busy and she's like a mother to him. After marriage when he moved into this house with Bella, he brought her along with him. So, Xavier doesn't worry about baby Aubrey being alone with her. Even Bella know aunt jane and was close to her as Xavier and Bella grew up together. She used to visit Xavier's house frequently when he was a baby and aunt Ann looked after Bella as well.

But after the accident, as Bella doesn't remember her past, for now, she believes Xavier and fine to leave baby Aubrey under aunt Jane's care.

"Honey, you can do anything you want. I'll just work for some time." Xavier tells Bella and goes to his seat as he starts working.

He's going to work only for an hour. Even though he's still recovering and needs regular rest, he's not going to work for long and end up hurting. So, he starts going through the important emails and files before replying to them.

On the other side, Bella walks all around the room and sees so many files and documents. Everything feels different to her. Even if she lost his memory, she should have remembered about work because that isn't any memory but it's the work of life which she leads. Apart from work, she's also curious to know how she used to be as a person, a daughter, and most importantly as Xavier's wife and love. She makes up her mind and decides to ask Xavier about it.
