"What are you doing?" Austin approached Ares and I with Ana trailing behind him. "Can't you see?" Ares asked in an annoyed tone. "$23,000!" The man shouted, smirking. He didn't know to who was his competitor. He could only hear his voice. "$24,000." Ares said again. "$25,000!" The man shouted. "f**k this," Ares muttered before shouting, "$30,000." He then looked down at me before whispering, "she isn't even worth a dollar." The crowd went silent. "What the hell is this?" Ana asked, confusion clear in her voice. "$30,000 anyone?" Amanda asked. When nobody replied, she spoke, "Dana Ivanov sold to Ares Salvatore for the night! Congratulations, this is our highest amount so far! Thank you, Mr Salvatore." Since Dana was the last woman left to be auctioned, everybody went back to do whatever they were doing. When she saw Ares, Dana smiled and jumped in excitement. She ran of the stage and jumped in Ares's arms making me, who was just beside him, take a few steps away in order for her not to accidentally fall on me. Ares quickly threw her away like she was a piece of garbage. He wiped his suit as if she dirtied it making me snort. "What the hell woman?" Ares shouted but not that loud. Only Ana, Austin, Dana and I heard as we were closest to him. I smirked when she saw Dana getting up from the floor, Dusting off her dress. "Y—You bought me." Dana began touching her body on purpose, thinking that it would turn Ares on which made me gag. "On your sister's behalf." Ares replied coldly. "Why would you do that?" Dana asked glaring at me with frustration in her eyes. "Why would I do that? Are you hearing yourself right now? You really thought that I would let you ruin our family's reputation?" I snapped. "I want to be f****d!" She said shamelessly, "I'm going to auction myself again!" What the f*****g hell is wrong with her? "You can't auction yourself again. I've already bought you for a night." Ares replied, rolling his eyes. "Then f**k me!" Dana said to Ares who shot her a disgusted look. "I didn't buy to so that we can f**k. I told you I bought you for her." Ares pointed to me. "You better go and do something else than f*****g people or I'll make you work for me since technically he bought you for me for the night, right?" I asked with a smirk. Dana shot me a death glare but nodded nonetheless before walking away, swaying her hips making me roll my eyes. "How come she's like that and you're like—" Austin began moving his finger in front of me as he tried to find the right word, "—you are." "I think you should ask her that question." I replied, my eyes darting to Dana who wasn speaking to Liza, "you should ask her what's wrong with her because there nothing wrong with me." "I don't think I would want to be r***d by your sister." Austin said and laughed. I removed a cheque from my purse and wrote the same amount for which Ares bought Dana, using a small pen which I kept in the purse then I handed the cheque to Ares. Ares raised an eyebrow, "What is this?" "You said that I owe you, didn't you? Well, that clears my debt." I replied, nodding to the cheque, "Take it." Ares took the cheque and merely glanced at it before tearing it apart. "What's that supposed to mean?" I asked, raising my voice a little. "I don't want money. I have lots of it." Ares replied, "That's not how I expect you to repay me." "Then how?" I furrowed her brows as she stared at the infamous mafia King. Xavier coughed, "In," he coughed again, "Bed." "Excuse me?" I asked, letting anger getting the best of me, "In case you haven't noticed, I am not Dana." "I don't want you to repay me in that way," Ares glared at Xavier before looking at me, "I'll tell you when I've decided."
