Chapter Nineteen

1002 Words
I took the girl to the deepest darkest part of the woods that I could find. I was walking quickly through all the trees yanking her along behind me by her wrist. I didn't even care if I broke her arm, I was hungry and she would resolve that. I could hear the beat of her heart pumping warm fresh blood around her body, my teeth began to ache. My gums were sore, as my fangs pushed through them. I walked faster and faster, the girl I was taking with me began to ran. Everything around me was starting to magnify into more and more high depth color as the entirety of my eye turned black. I swirled her around to face me, she was startled at my eyes, but could not scream, just like I’d told her to. Now I could feed in peace and quiet. I couldn't help but smile as my fangs sunk deep into her neck. I could feel her struggling but she was no match for my strength. Her blood was sweet as it trickled down my throat. I closed my eyes, enjoying the pleasant taste. It was the exact kind of blood I'd been craving for all day. This girl was perfect. My arms wrapped around her waist, pinning her fiery hair to her back as I continued to drink. I stopped to drink to see how much life was still inside her. Her head flopped back. She was dead. I dumped her body onto the floor. Her warm blood flowed down my chin, I wiped it away and licked it off of my fingers. Yummy. It was times like this when I pleasantly enjoyed being a vampire. I had no limitations. Top of the food chain. I turned away from the girl and started to walk. I didn’t care who found the body, I wasn't planning to stay in this pathetic little town. It might liven it up a bit to find a lifeless, bloodless body in the middle of the woods. Very spooky. That would be something to keep the kids up at night. Now that my thirst was taken care of, I had to get back to the decaying vampire I was keeping in the cellar of someone’s house. Well, a dead someone’s house. On my way there I think of different ways to torture him some more. I smile to myself, can you get any more charming than me? I walk up the path of the house and force the door open. I still hadn't found a key to the house anywhere. Who ever's house this was had a lot of explaining to do, if they were still alive that was. I kicked the porch carpet away with my feet to reveal wooden trap door. As I opened it, it released a screeching noise which fit perfectly with the kind of scene I had created underneath it. I hopped in, not bothering to use the ladder that was nailed to the wall inside. I opened the door and smile at the very grumpy vampire. "Well don't you look cheery today?" I say, laughing. With no response I walk a little closer to Lloyd. "You know, you look terrible! Maybe a bit of blood would strengthen up your bones." No response. Again. "Sheesh. You're not very sociable today are you?" He wasn't even looking at me. How rude. I walk right up to him and put my hands on his shoulders. "Look at me." I say, with demand steeping in my voice. He doesn't tilt his head to look at me. So I decide to tighten the grip on his shoulders. He cries out in pain. "You going to look at me now?" He rolls his eyes and looks up at me. "Good boy, now. I need you to tell me where your girlfriend is." And then it hit me. If I wanted answers, he needed to be able to speak first. The amount of damage I’d caused his body was killing him. So he obviously couldn't talk. I grab the glass of blood I left out of his reach to torture him with while I was gone and place it to his mouth. He drinks willingly. I quickly pull the cup away from his mouth and ask again. "Now. You can finish the whole glass and many more like this one if you just answer this question correctly. Where is Leila Taylor?" "Why do you want to know?” He says. He knew why. But I thought I would set him straight so I don't have to again. "Because I want to kill her. Why else am I here?" I reply, a grin starting to set on my face. "I'm not telling you anything." He says. That was it. Desperate times call for desperate measures. And I was desperate. I plunge my hand through his chest, gripping his heart. He cries out in pain, even worse than before. "Now. I'm going to ask you one more time, Dallesandro. Where. Is. Leila. Taylor!" I yell at him with everything I have. "I don’t know! Hopefully as far away from you as she can get!" He yells back, pain coming through his voice. I didn't get the answer I wanted. But I needed him alive if I was going to get anywhere. I let go of his heart and rip my hand out of his chest. He knew I wouldn't kill him. But that wouldn't stop me from torturing him even more until I got what I wanted. And that was what I would do. “You took me just before Leila would’ve found out you’re here. She could be anyway” He mutters, I touch of humour to his voice. I narrow my eyes and glare at him. I was going to keep torturing Lloyd Dallesandro until he cracked. Which by my estimates, wouldn't be much longer.
