Chapter 7

After last night he must had come to see what was taking me so long a find me sleeping. Suddenly my nose was filled with the smell of pancakes and beacons, I got up and went to the bathroom I brush my teeth and hurried downstairs.

And he cooks too. I said while smiling.

he looks at me and smile, afterwards he fixed us both a plate, we sat down and start eating then I look up from my plate and he was just stare in at me.

"What was it that you dreamed about?"

He ask and I thought. Strange I don't remember having any bad dreams last night.

"I want to whatever it was that made you cried half the night in your sleep, just know I'll be waiting here when you're ready to talk. Okay?"

I nodded at him!

"You don't have to come to work today just stay home and relax." He said and got up from the table walk around to me and kisses my temple. "See you later princess." He added.

He leaves and I stopped eating I was no longer hungry when he mention that I cried, but I don't remember anything or even dreaming for that matter. He also gave me the day off but why? it's not like I am tired. I spent my whole watching p***hub, trying to learn but as soon I stop watching, the memory vanishes.

I started watching tv after feeling bored I went to sleep. I woke up drink water or wine and sleep again. It's almost 8:30 why isn't he here yet? I asked as I turn the tv off and went upstairs when I enter my room my phone rang I look at the screen it was Sasha.

Hello

Sasha: What are you doing?

Nothing why?

Sasha: Let go out there's a club celebrating their opening anniversary tonight and I want to go!!

I'm not sure Sasha, I

She cuts me off

Sasha: I know you didn't work today and Chan says he's not going to let you work tomorrow either.

Why?

Sasha: Because I told him we're going out tonight.

Did you talk to him?

Sasha: Yea he's working late he said

Oh. Okay.

Sasha: Get ready we will be there in an hour.

Okay, see you……bye.

I was at home all day he didn't call are texted me but he agreed for me to go out!!! Is he doing this because of last night? But why? I didn't asked him to, I got ready wearing a burgundy lace dress. I didn't know what else to do wear so I picked this, and catch up my hair in a ponytail I took my coat and put it on I was about to add some lite lipstick when I heard the doorbell. Did I really take an hour to get ready? I look at the time it's only 9:15 how did they make it here so fast I asked myself as I head down the stairs. When I opened the door it was Sasha.

Sasha: I was already on m my way here when I called.

Oh okay, I left my phone upstairs I'm going to get it.

I grab my phone from my bed and dial Chan's number but there was no answer I called nine more times before we reached the club but still no answer, I texted him where we were at and that I'm with Sasha & Noah, and still no reply. I text again.

I know you're working late. Sasha told me you said you were working late but at least reply to me once, will you.

Still no answer I start to wonder if it was something I did, I put my phone on the silent mood as we head inside the club.

This is what a club looks like?

Sasha: Oh my are you a Christian? Even Christian knows what a club is like.

I smile although I felt like she was right! I took my coat off and Sasha's mouth goes open, you must be planning on taking a man home tonight dressing like this.

I was put the coat back on then she said, “am kidding you look hot!”

Sasha: Okay, let's have some fun and get free drinks.

We start to walk over to the bar and Sasha stop and said to Noah. Sorry. Girls only babe you get to buy your own drinks, pretty girls drink free and I happen to have a hot as hell one by my side so bye-bye until midnight.”

With that she pulls me closer and we walks over to the bar, as we reached the bar the bartender serves a shot of vodka, on the house. He said and push it to me with a smile. Oh my god, he's hot but not as hot as chan I thought. Ugh why am I even thinking about him.

I'm not alone, I said looking at Sasha.

"I'm sorry but" I cut him off with my best smile yet.

"I'm on it." He says.

Sasha: Oh my god, I will be too drunk before midnight if you keep flashing that dashing smile at these men's.

I felt anger with Chan and maybe it was stupid but I felt like this would be my revenge. I plan to so let get ready to be drunk as hell! I said and we bout laugh Sash vodka arrive I said.

Thank you, with another smile & he smiles back at me before he leaves & started serving other customers. While keeping an eye on us.

Sasha, I think he's watching us!

Sasha: No, he's watching you! Let's finish out drinks I wanna confirm something.

Okay.

We drink our drinks and he stop serving and walks over to us would this pretty lady like a refill? He ask and I said.

Yes, we thank you very much. No need, as long you stay at the bar you won't need to buy your own drink! He said flashing smile, he was really cute. Okay, but I would like to buy at least one round for ourselves at least I hope you won't mind!.. I said.

No, not at all. He said as he serves our drinks and a man calls him over from the other side of the bar. He returns and adds to more drinks and pointed at the guy who had called him sash & I smile and nod in thanks as we finish those drinks.

There was another guy who would refill our glass for us, from some other ends of the bar. Three other girls joined us we pretend to know each other because there's no way, Sasha and I could finish those drinks coming on our own.

We talked & laughed about silly things. We exchange names and drink free drinks from the hotties from the bar. I was feeling tipsy after a few more glasses or maybe drunk.

Sasha looked totally drunk. I won't get too drunk because I keep using the bathroom and drinking water every now and then.

Noah finds us the group of five in our own little spot drinking and dancing, he looks like he wasn't having much fun until he finds and join us that's when I went to the bartender a told him I need two bottles of vodka for our table.

He smiles and serves me my order but when I tried to pay he said, looks you're having fun. I am, I said. Then he asks, does this pretty lady have a name? Haha! Yes I do, it's Sheila. I reply. A name is as pretty just like the owner, I'm Adam. He said with smile as I smile back at him! I took out my card and hand him it to him again.

When a guy from the far end of the bar calls for him when he turns to the guy, who is seated in conner beside another man. Adam points at the guy then at my order, then Adam's gave me back my card and say. It looks like you won't be paying for that either, with a smile. Looks like you're just too lucky. He added!

I guess, I said and walks away with wonders because I couldn't see who it was... which bothers me a lot. When I reach back to our table I noticed three new guys. Noah introduces them as I put the two bottles of vodka on the table and sat down. I smile politely and wave at all of them we pour our own drinks and toast to an amazing night of clubbing.

After the two bottles finish Noah decided that we should stop here for the night and plan to do it another time the guys agrees we got up to leave, but I couldn't find my coat so I decided to leave it.

I went to the bar to get a bottle of water when I saw my coat over the counter as Adam's walks up to me, I pointed at my coat and said that's mine. "Yea you left it when you took the table y'all were at." I smile, can I have it and a bottle of water please. I paid and said goodbye.

I put on my coat and head outside where they were waiting on me. I said to Noah. I am gonna stay at the hotel tonight, so you can saves gas and time. Okay, he said. When one of the girls said she lives on {XXX*** Address} and one of Noah's friend said he's going that direction so he could give her a ride. Then Noah ask him to take me along because I live on the same in the same direction.

Okay, pretty lady. Emma is driving with me the guy said and I then asked him why he called me pretty lady just now? "Because you're going to be the pretty lady of that club for I'm sure, Normally they picked the girl who received the freest drinks in the club and put up your name in the club for a while." He said.

Is that so, I say. Another guy asked if the bartender asked for my name? Yes, he did. I reply. “And there, y'all have the answer it's her. I come here every night and Sasha created a group chat early so I'll take a picture and send it in the group, tomorrow night. Now let's go home, some of us can't hold it anymore.” Emma said looking at Sasha and her two friends and we all laughed.

I woke up in my club clothes. I guess I went straight to bed after I arrive home. I thought as I got and went to take a shower after went downstairs and made breakfast. I have today off as well so I just gonna go by the hotel in the afternoon, I went back to bed after eating because when I got home it was 4 am in the morning.

I woke up at 2.pm in the afternoon I made something to eat. I took a shower and takes off. I arrived at the hotel, and Sasha was still sleeping Noah told me. I hated being alone since Chan entered my life and now I feel like am regretting it and letting him got so close to me!

I wasn't sure when he would be back so I decided to stay and help out around the hotel, Noah said. It was Anita's time to take a break so I decided to replace her at the front desk. “Omg you are a live saver Sheila. Anita said. I smile at her and she heads to the kitchen few minutes after I receive a message.

I checked it and it was from the group chat I loaded the photo and it was a brown board with gold writings. I smile and reply to the photo thanks, @Emma. Noah smiles at me and said "lucky you!" I giggled a little.

9 o'clock Noah said we won't close till 11 tonight so you leave out when am ready. Okay, I gonna talk with Sasha before I leave. I said and he nodded then I head to the top floor, I enter their penthouse. Hey, sash... I notice she was on the phone so I waved then she said, Okay see you then and hung up. I hate when people dip into other people business. so I never dare dips in anyone's.

I heard you were sleeping when I came so I just help out a little while waiting for you but you didn't come down! I thought I would come to see you and chat a bit before leaving. I said. “I saw your one-year pretty lady.” She said, one-year. I didn't see that! “You can be very beautiful when you want to be.”

I wasn't even try to be but a compliment is a compliment. We both smiled! We continue talking and laughing until I heard the door open and I look at the time it was 11:30.pm I said, I guess Noah close up!

Sasha: Yes I guess.

I turn around and the person who was standing behind us wasn't Noah at all.

Chan: Nice see you princess.

I looked away Sasha gets up and said I will leave you two some time to talk. I got up and walk out to the balcony he followed up and wraps his arms around me, I pull away.

Chan: I'm a sorry princess.

I didn't realize how upset I was until now, I call and texted him but he never calls back not even texted once. Nothing.

Chan: I didn't answer

I start to walk away when he hugs me from behind!

Chan: I'm sorry. I should have called you are at least texted once, I was just so caught up with the work! Sis told me you guys were going out and I know I had to work, so I told her I gave you two days off. I'm really sorry princess, I know you're upset but please say something, anything, please!

I pull his hands from me and turn around to him. No! I'm the one who is sorry we aren't like that. So there's no need for you to apologize for not answer your “Secretary calls or messages” especially at that time of the night. I said to him and he's face turns from normal to pale with my words and I knew then that they hit where it hurts and that's what I wanted! I took my bag and left.

A secretary whom he had his way with, in her kitchen and on her the dinner table. I'm crazy, really crazy just a secretary, did I went a little too far just now? It's not he didn't want to answer he had to work right? I'm being selfish right? But I can't just suddenly stop being upset, oaky let's just pretend for a bit.

Chan: Sheila wait.

He shouted as I open the door, close it's behind me. I reached the elevator when I realize I had left my phone, I turn around going back for it but as I was about to open the door. I heard Sasha talking so I hesitated and started to listen to their conversation. But then I realized I didn't want to hear it so I open the door and said.

I left my phone, I'll get it and leave.

He watches me goes for the phone which he already had. I look a the tiny table where I was seated but it wasn't there, I turn around and ask Sasha if she took it up, “No.” She said.

Chan. I have it.

Taking it from his pocket and showing it to me. I walked over and try to take it but he passes it to his other hand.

Sasha: Raphael what did we talked about.

Chan: What I just want to take her home.

He said while he's looking at Sasha so I grabbed my phone and said goodbye sash. I was out before he could do are say anything. Then I heard his footsteps trying to catch up with me. He stepped out in front of me.

Chan: At least let me take you home, please.

Fine. I said after I walk off to the elevator he chuckled and walks into the elevator before it closed.

Please stop?

Chan: Stop what?

Would you stop staring at me?

Chan: How do you know I'm looking at you? When your eyes are close!

I don't need my eyes to know that you looking, so stop.

Chan: Okay.

We left the elevator we took to the underground parking lot since that's where he had parked and the front entrance is close. Don't want to have Noah or Sasha going back down just to let us out, we reached the car as he opens the door for me but I sat in the back.

Chan: Really princess?

Yes. I reply. I keep my answer short to every question he asked on our way home. I got out of the car and went straight to my room I closed the door and lock it. I took a hot shower and went to bed I lay down hoping he would come and try to talk with me but he gave me my space instead.

Hmm, why can't he see that I wasn't pretending to be mad? I slowly open the door to look if his door is open but it was closed, I went downstairs hoping he was there but he wasn’t I frown I went back upstairs and straight to bed.
