THE DEVIL'S CONSPIRACYWhen Michael returned to his hometown after twelve years, the first thing he noticed was the old house at the end of the road.It was still standing. The roof was covered with moss. The windows were broken. Tall grass surrounded the building, and the front door hung slightly open.Everyone in the village called it the Devil's House.Michael had heard stories about it when he was a child, but he never believed them.People said strange things happened there. Some claimed they heard voices calling their names from inside. Others said anyone who entered after midnight would never return.Michael was twenty-eight now. He was no longer a frightened child. He had returned because his grandmother had died. She had left him her small family house and everything inside it.While going through her belongings, Michael found an old wooden box beneath her bed.Inside was a black-and-white photograph. His grandmother appeared in the picture as a young woman. Beside her stood Michael's grandfather and two strange men.Behind them was the abandoned house at the end of the road.Michael turned the photograph over.Written on the back were the words:“We opened the door. We should never have done it.”Michael felt a strange chill.Under the photograph was an old black key. That night, Michael could not sleep. At exactly 2:13 a.m., he heard three knocks on his bedroom window.Tap.Tap.Tap.He slowly opened his eyes.Another knock came.Tap.Tap.Tap.Michael walked toward the window and pulled the curtain aside.Nobody was there.Only the branches of an old mango tree moved in the wind.He sighed and turned around. Then he heard a whisper.“Michael…”He froze. The voice sounded exactly like his grandmother.“Michael…”The voice came from underneath his bed.Michael grabbed his phone and turned on the flashlight.Nothing was there. He searched the room.Nothing.His phone suddenly went off.The room became completely dark.Michael spent the rest of the night sitting against the wall. The next morning, he decided to ask someone about the old house. While walking through the village, he met an old man named Elias.Elias had known Michael's family for decades.“You came back,” the old man said.“Yes. For my grandmother's funeral.”Elias nodded. Then his eyes moved toward the abandoned house.“You haven't gone there, have you?”Michael shook his head.“No.”“Good.”“Why?”Elias lowered his voice.“That house is not empty.”Michael laughed.“It's been abandoned for years.”Elias stared at him.“Your grandmother knew better.”Michael stopped laughing.“What do you mean?”The old man looked around before speaking.“Your family has been hiding something from you.”“What?”Elias shook his head.“Ask your grandmother's diary.”Michael immediately returned home.He searched through her belongings until he found an old leather notebook. The first pages contained ordinary family memories. But the middle of the book was different. His grandmother had written about the abandoned house.According to the diary, Michael's great-grandfather had discovered a hidden room beneath the building in 1954.He believed there was treasure inside. One night, he entered the room with three other men. They found a huge black stone door. There were strange symbols carved into it.When they touched the door, they heard whispers. The voices called each man by name.Three of them became obsessed with opening the door.Michael's great-grandfather refused. The three men eventually opened it.Something came through.Michael's grandmother described the creature as a shadow without a face. Its name was Malachar.Malachar offered the three men wealth, power and long life. But there was a price. Each man had to give Malachar a member of his family. One by one, the men disappeared.Michael's great-grandfather escaped. But before he died, he made a terrible mistake. He promised Malachar that one day someone from his bloodline would return and finish the agreement.Michael closed the diary. His heart was pounding. He stared toward the abandoned house.Suddenly, he understood why his grandmother had written one sentence repeatedly:“Never enter the house after midnight.”That evening, Michael decided to leave the village. He packed his bags. But before he could leave, someone knocked on the door.It was Elias.“You read the diary,” the old man said.Michael nodded.“You need to leave now.”“Why?”“Because Malachar knows you're here.”A loud sound came from outside.BOOM!Both men turned toward the window. The abandoned house stood in the distance. Its front door was slowly opening.Elias grabbed Michael's arm.“Don't look at it.”But Michael looked anyway.A tall black figure stood inside the doorway. Two red eyes stared directly at him.Michael stepped backward. The figure raised one hand. Then the lights in Michael's house went

The devil's conspiracy Chapter 1 The beginning
THE DEVIL'S CONSPIRACY Chapter 1: The Beginning Michael had always been told one rule about his family. Never ask what happened in 1954. His grandmother repeated it whenever he asked about the old house. “Some things are better left buried,” she would say. Michael never understood what she meant. Until the night she died. --- It started with a phone call at 2:13 a.m. Michael was lying in bed when his phone began vibrating beside him. He almost ignored it. Then he saw the caller. Grandmother. Michael sat up immediately. His grandmother had been seriously ill, but she had never called him at that hour. “Hello?” For several seconds, there was only breathing. “Grandma?” Her voice finally came through. “Michael…” He could barely hear her. “Where are you?” “Listen to me.” Something in her voice made him sit completely still. “What happened?” “Don't come to the house.” Michael frowned. “What house?” “Our house.” “The old family house?” “Yes.” Her breathing became heavier. “Whatever happens, Michael, don't go inside.” “Why?” Silence. Then Michael heard something in the background. A slow scraping sound. Scratch. Scratch. Scratch. “Grandma, what's that?” She ignored his question. “There is something beneath the house.” Michael felt a chill. “What are you talking about?” “I should have told you years ago.” “Told me what?” Her voice dropped to a whisper. “About Malachar.” Michael didn't recognize the name. “Who is Malachar?” His grandmother began crying. That frightened him more than anything she had said. “Grandma?” “If he calls your name…” She stopped. “Grandma?” “…don't answer.” The phone suddenly went silent. Michael stared at the screen. The call had ended. He immediately called her back. No answer. Again. Nothing. Then, at 2:17 a.m., his phone received a message. There was no number. Only four words. HE KNOWS YOUR NAME. Michael stared at the message. A second message appeared. DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR. --- The next morning, Michael received the news that his grandmother was dead. The doctors said her heart had stopped during the night. Michael couldn't accept it. Not after the phone call. Not after the messages. He traveled to the old family house that afternoon. The house stood alone beyond a line of enormous trees. It had belonged to his family since 1954. Michael had spent much of his childhood there. But his grandmother had refused to let him visit in recent years. As Michael approached the house, he noticed something strange. The front door was open. He stopped at the gate. His grandmother's final warning returned to his mind. Don't come to the house. He should have turned around. Instead, he entered. The house was silent. Too silent. Dust covered the furniture. Family photographs lined the walls. Michael walked toward the living room. Then he noticed one photograph lying face down on the floor. He picked it up. It showed his family standing outside the house many years ago. His grandmother was there. His great-grandfather. His great-grandmother. Several other relatives he didn't recognize. But someone had scratched a black circle over one person's face. Michael turned the photograph over. Written on the back were three words. ONE MUST PAY. A noise came from upstairs. Michael looked up. “Hello?” No answer. He walked toward the staircase. Then he heard his grandmother's voice. “Michael.” He froze. It came from the basement. His heart began pounding. “Grandma?” The voice came again. “Come downstairs.” Michael remembered her warning. Don't go into the basement. He backed away. “No.” The basement door suddenly shook. Bang. Michael jumped. Another bang. Bang. Then silence. He ran to the living room and began searching through his grandmother's belongings. He found an old wooden box hidden beneath a loose floorboard. Inside was a leather diary. The first pages contained family names and dates. Then Michael reached a page marked: 1954. He began reading. > Tonight, we made the mistake that will destroy our family. Michael's hands became cold. He turned the page. > His name is Malachar. Another page. > He promised us wealth. Another. > He promised protection. Then the words that made Michael's heart stop: > In return, he demanded one member of every generation. Michael dropped the diary. “No.” He picked it up again. The next pages explained that his great-grandfather had made a pact with something that lived beneath the house. The family became wealthy. Their businesses prospered. Their enemies disappeared. But every generation, someone died mysteriously. Michael's grandmother had known the truth. She had spent years trying to break the agreement. The final page contained only one sentence: > If you are reading this, I failed. Michael stared at the words. Then another sentence slowly appeared beneath them. HE IS COMING FOR YOU. Michael dropped the diary. A cold wind swept through the room. Every family photograph on the wall fell to the floor at once. Then the basement door opened. Slowly. Michael stood frozen. Darkness filled the doorway. Two red eyes appeared inside it. A voice whispered: “Michael.” He couldn't breathe. The voice continued. “Your family made a promise.” Michael backed toward the front door. “I didn't.” The creature laughed. “But you inherited it.” Michael ran. He burst through the front door and didn't stop until he reached the road. Behind him, the old house stood silently among the trees. Then every window lit up. One after another. And in the upstairs window, Michael saw his grandmother. She was staring directly at him. She raised one hand. Pointing toward the house. Then her mouth moved. Michael couldn't hear her through the distance. But somehow he understood. RUN. --- That night, Michael stayed with a friend. At exactly 2:13 a.m., his phone rang. The screen showed: Grandmother. Michael stared at it. He refused to answer. The ringing stopped. Then a message appeared. YOU SHOULD HAVE LISTENED. Another message followed. THE HOUSE IS COMING FOR YOU. Michael's bedroom light went out. A smell of smoke filled the room. He looked toward the window. The old family house was standing outside. Impossible. He had left it miles away. Yet there it was. Burning. Michael watched in horror as flames climbed the walls. Then the front door opened. A tall figure stood inside. Two red eyes stared directly at him. Malachar. The figure raised one hand. Something black fell onto the ground outside. Michael opened the window and looked down. It was a key. An old black key. He reached for it. The moment his fingers touched it, the entire world went dark. Then he heard Malachar whisper: “The door is open.” Michael opened his eyes. He was no longer in his friend's house. He was standing inside the burning family home. And somewhere downstairs, something began scratching against the floor. Scratch. Scratch. Scratch. Michael looked toward the staircase. Then he heard his grandmother's voice. “Michael…” He closed his eyes. He knew she was dead. So whatever was calling him downstairs… wasn't his grandmother. To be continued…
