Chapter 31Drake was beside himself. He couldn't believe Harkin got sucked in by Cameron's fairytale. Yet he did, and he seemed to be content with it.
Drake flashed through the overhead surveillance monitors searching for Cameron and Grace. He searched the Turbine Building, the Auxiliary Building, and the outer grounds. Marvin was dutifully seated in the guard booth at San Roque Gate. The other patrol officers continued their drone-like marches across the blacktop.
He pulled the keyboard close to his chest, tapped the ENTER key, and watched as the screen instantly refreshed. The cursor waited, blinking for a moment. Then he typed-in the command:
