Chapter 37“Harkin has requested some papers,” Drake said to Lewis over the intercom. “He wants the log sheet from last night, and a few other items. And while I'm down there, I'm going to let him know about the camera problems.”
Lewis hesitated. He wanted more time to fix the problem. He preferred not to dump on his supervisor something he felt capable of repairing. But if Drake was going to see Harkin now, he might as well tell him about the cameras.
“All right,” Lewis said, and as he did, he acknowledged Drake's command prompt, requesting to open DOOR SB1, exiting from Control Station Two
“I'll be back in fifteen,” Drake said.
“Toodaloo.”
Drake dropped down from the console and exited the door. Lewis flipped his main monitor to camera five, the Rear Corridor of the Security Building
