Bad girl

"What do you think you did huh?" My aunt shouted after we reached our house. She's been stopping herself in the hospital. It's obvious to her porcelain skin. She gets red every time she's mad. And she's always mad because of me. She tied her long golden brown hair into a bun still looking at me murderously. I stepped back. She got the walking stick beside the shoe rack. That belongs to my late grandfather but now this lady owned this. "I'm sorry Mama." She raised her hand where the walking stick is. I closed my eyes waiting for my faith. A tear escapes to my left eyes when I feel the sting on my legs. "Don't call me Mama! I'm not your mom!" I felt that again. Now on my back. "You will never be my daughter!" She continued to beat me up using that long and hard stick. I feel nothing now. I smiled when I already become numb. This is the only thing that makes me happy. Being numb to all the pain. My escape. She stopped when we heard a car outside. After a minute a man wearing a black shirt with ragged pants entered. "Honey." Aunt Katy said with a soft voice. The man kissed her. My dad. In my chest, I felt hope when he turned his gaze to me. I awkwardly smiled at him while standing with trembling legs. He slightly nodded to me. "Betty." I heard a baritone voice. He looked at my head to toe but to my disappointment, he turned his back again to me. Facing Aunt Katy were looking at me with a smug written on her face. "You looked terrible again." I slightly jumped to my place when I heard a voice beside me."Smell bad too." "Baby..." Aunt Katy walked towards the boy beside me. I moved to my right to give her access to their son. "How's your golf with dad, hmmm?" She caressed the face of the man whose still looking in my direction. "It's fine mama." I let go of my breath that I don't even know that I've held this for a few minutes when he turned his gaze to Aunt Katy and walked to the kitchen. Auntie looked at me. "M-ma..."I fake my coughed when she heard what I called her. "Auntie.." I said. "What are you still doing here?!" She snapped. "I'm s-sorry. I-I'm going n-now to the k-kitchen t-then." I bit my upper lip when I stuttered. I played my fingers while thinking about what's for dinner now. I'm hungry now. Maybe my gummy worms inside my stomach are now crying. Grandpa once said to me that there are some gummy worms inside, maybe because I ate too much when I was 4 years old? She raised her brow. "And what are you going to do in the kitchen?" "It's dark. It's dinner n-now, Auntie." I said while slightly bowed my head. "Who said you're going to eat?" "B-but..." "No buts. Go to your room." She pointed the staircase going to attics, where I slept."You've been a bad girl for days. You don't deserve the dinner." She turned her heels to me while I started taking my steps to my room. It's always like this. Dad will turn his back to me, Rage will tantalize me, and Auntie Katy will be mad at me. It's always like this because I've been a bad girl.
