Chapter Twenty Seven - Accident
*Kayne's POV* I didn't worry much when Bria didn't return as I expected. I didn't worry necessarily when she didn't call me to pick her up. Birth took a lot of time. I had no real time frame to expect her home in. Luka and I had an awesome day. Nothing compared to when the three of us were all home and spending time as a family, but I loved the days that I got to take care of Luka all on my own. Getting to do all of the feeding, changing, and playing always made the day go by quickly. As always, I missed Bria when she wasn't home. I had been alone so long after losing my mate that having almost constant company in the house had become such a comfort.
