Sarah's POV.
"Mira?" A soft, startled gasp escaped my lips as my eyes widened in fear at the sight of her standing before my door.
"How did you get in here?" I stammered, my voice trembling as I struggled to hold her gaze.
"How I got in here is none of your concern, Sarah! What matters is that I am here now," she replied, her laughter dripping with venom as she snorted.
My heart raced, and beads of sweat formed on my forehead, but I refused to give her the satisfaction of seeing me in such a vulnerable state.
"I warned you, didn't I, Sarah?" She began to approach me, taking slow, deliberate steps, but I did my best to inch away from her, step by step.
