"Daddy!" The girl's joyful exclamation filled the room as she rushed toward the man. A radiant smile graced her face as she wrapped her arms around him in a warm hug.
My heart ached as I witnessed the affection between them, the father-daughter bond so strong and genuine.
I turned my gaze from the girl to Lucian and then back to the scene before me. The man who was supposed to be my father stood there, embracing this girl who claimed to be me.
Shock washed over me, and my face grew pale as I tried to process the overwhelming emotions.
