Sarah's POV.
A deep frown etched across my face, my arms crossed defensively over my chest, and my lips pursed in anger as I glared at Lucian.
He had a way of pushing my buttons and making me even more furious, although I tried to steady my racing heart.
All I desired in this moment was the chance to know more about myself, but Lucian had hindered my intentions.
"I did that on the Alpha's orders. You were making too much of a scene, and..." Lucian began to explain, but I cut him off with my frustration, not willing to hear the rest of his explanation.
My anger flared even higher, and I attempted to move again, but he blocked my path. Now that I knew part of my identity, and what was happening to me, I needed to see the man they had called my father and tell him about my struggles.
