Chapter 11: Summit

I sighed in happiness as I ate the rich, authentic New York pizza Cillian had ordered for our room. The big meeting was tomorrow, Cillian and I had arrived a day late with Alpha David of Pine-hill pack, he was our closest neighbor the the west and had an issue with a nasty group of blood rouges. We ran over and kicked their asses before we got in the car and drove downstate. The car ride was amazing, we rode in a black SUV with Dimitri driving us. He closed the window between the front and back while Cillian and I brainstormed what foods we wanted to try. At one point Cillian pulled me into his lap and rested his head on the back of my shoulder. I was getting sleepy when I felt his hand gently slide down into my pants.

"Now I get to repay you for our trip to the mall." He whispered in my ear. His free hand covered my mouth stifling my moans as his fingers slowly slid in and out of my body. "And that is why I was surprised I was your first." I said raising a plucked eyebrow.

"I guess I can see it." He said sarcastically while rolling his eyes. I got up and sat myself in his lap and looked out the window, his arms wrapped around my waist and held me tightly against him as he put his face on my right shoulder. I ran my right hand through his dark silky locks absentmindedly as we entered the tunnel Buddy walks through in Elf. Cillian kept placing small light kisses all over the right side of my jaw neck and shoulder. We arrived at the large hotel within the hour, even though we could have walked there in thirty. The opposite door was opened so Cillian and I slid across the seat before exiting the car and grabbing our bags. We rolled our bags into the hotel with us and went to the main desk where a small werewolf woman was working. 

"Hello, name please." She asked my mate ignoring my existence.

"Fury, Cillian and Ashlyn Fury." I said, she looked at me and nodded then smiled at her screen and looked back up at me.

"I have a Cillian Fury and an Ashlyn Blake." She said too sweetly. 

"We'll have to change that wont we babe?" Cillian said putting his arm around my shoulder. The woman's smile faltered and she handed us a little card holder with two cards inside .

"Your room is 678, it will be on the right side of the building." She said as she handed us a piece of paper. We signed the liability form and went to our room, before we got set up Cillian went around and took photo's of the room and placed time stamps on them. I sighed and unpacked a little then stripped and took  nice shower. I climbed out and brushed my long hair and told myself to get a hair cut, right beneath my shoulder blades was a perfect length. I put on a pair of Cillian's boxers and a tank top of mine and pulled my long hair into a sloppy bun and joined Cillian in the living room where he had a pizza waiting for us. I bit in and moaned, as if we were having s*x in the car again. That slice of cheesy wonderful greatness was heavenly. When I was full of pizza I went back to the bathroom and brushed my teeth, washed my face and pissed before I went into the large bedroom with the queen sized bed and crawled into it. The bed was way to soft so I growled at it as Cillian crawled in, he sighed and I climbed on top of him and used his hard body as my mattress making him chuckle. 

"So much better than memory foam." I grumbled as he ran his hands over my back.

"That's because you used to live in a cave." I rolled my eyes.

"You sleep fine on our bed." I said looking up at him.

"Alright I like a little firmness, but babe, this is like laying on a cloud." He said with a smirk.

"You would fall through a cloud and fall back to earth and die." I glared to which he giggled. 

"How about a bed of moss?" I thought for a second before I answered. 

"No, moss is soft, but had a firm surface beneath it. Its like putting a small foam mattress over a really hard surface." 

"Ahh." I rested my head back down on his shoulder and drifted off to the worst nights sleep since I mated with Cillian. I ended up getting off the bed and stripping before shifting and sleeping on the floor on the side of the room farthest from the door. I stayed in a light sleep and opened my eyes every time Cillian shifted in the bed. I finally fell asleep and was woken up by a knock on the door, I shifted and pulled my pajamas on before answering. A tall man with silver eyes was looking at me as I yawned.

"Can I help you?" I asked sleepily.

"I'm looking for Cillian Fury and his Moon." Werewolf code.

"Uh-huh come in, I'll wake him up." The man followed me into the room and I walked into the bedroom and jumped on Cillian making him groan. "Someone is looking for us, pretty sure he was staring at my ass." I mumbled as I climbed off him and went into the bathroom and brushed my morning breath away before walking past a tired looking Cillian to the unknown guy. His pale beige skin and fawn hair seemed to make his silver eyes stand out. He was 6 ft 5 shorter than Cillian, I noticed a hint of green around his irises and he smiled as I studied him. Cillian came out and stood next to me and then bowed at the guy.

"King Talon. It's a pleasure to see you again." Cillian said, my cheeks turning a light pink I bowed as well and raised myself when Cillian did. "This is my mate and Luna, Ashlyn."

"It is nice to formally meet you Luna Ashlyn." He said reaching for my hand.

"The pleasure is is mine King Talon." I responded taking his hand and giving it a small shake. 

"I am here to tell you the meeting will be in the first floor ballroom, in one hour. Bring a water and snacks, this will be a long meeting." The king said. 

"May I ask why?" I said curiously. 

"There is rumor of a Crescent wolf, Queen Tempest and I would like to meet whoever it is." I looked at the floor before speaking. 

"I am the Crescent wolf King Talon, but I'm not ready for everyone to know yet." I confessed, he looked down at my wrist and took in a sharp breath before nodding.

"Now, may I ask you why?" 

"I have a feeling that a wolf would attack my home and my family if they were to know, in a few more weeks I wont be able to shift to protect us either." I said putting a hand on my stomach. 

"I see, so what was your plan to hide your mark?"

"Actually yes. I can't risk bringing danger to my pack when I swore to protect them." King Talon smiled at me and nodded.

"I'll inform Queen Tempest, she will want to meet you and hound you with questions though."

"I can handle that, I know you wont bring harm to my family." With that King Talon nodded again and left the room. I sighed and pulled Cillian back to the bedroom where we got ready for the summit. I put on a crimson crop top so Cillian and I could actually touch my stomach. I pulled on white jeans over a black lacy thong, and put on my wolf pendent and a leather wristband over my mark. Cillian looked like a god in his black skinny jeans and crimson top. He placed a few finger rings on his hand and walked over with my brush. He gently brushed my hair, setting the brush on the dresser and running his thick fingers through it. I turned and kissed his tattoo before grabbing the small bag with water and granola bars and walking to the door. 

"s**t. Don't forget the key card babe." I lightly yelled. He walked over and held it up then pushed it in his pocket before we left the room and went down to the ballroom. I had placed a royal blue long sleeve of Cillian's in the bag for if i got cold, which I immediately was, so I pulled it over my head before we even got to the ball room. We walked in and found our place and took a seat among the other Alpha's and Luna's, some brought their beta's and unmated she wolves hoping to rid them selves of them. I looked around and relaxed into Cillian when I didn't see white hair, we talked with Alpha Lucas who was beside us, he was tall and had Icy blue eyes, his twin brother and co-Alpha of Moon-stone was beside him with a cute brunette on his lap, she smelled human.

I felt Cillian tense as I saw a white blur out of the corner of my eye. I gripped his hands tightly and tried to relax a little.

"Are you alright Luna?" Lucas asked.

"There is someone here I wasn't ready to see again." I said sending him a small smile. He nodded and turned to his twin brother. I envied the bond they had and i wondered why my sister couldn't love me like that. 

"She doesn't know what she is missing Ash." Cillian whispered, I nodded as a single tear fell. He wiped it away and I smiled up at him. I felt eyes on me and I turned to see Alpha Darius watching Cillian and I, I sent him a small smile and turned my attention to King Talon and Queen Tempest as they entered. We all stood and sat after they did, Queen Tempest cleared her throat and began speaking once everyone was seated.

"Welcome everyone to this years Alpha Summit, thank you for taking time out of your lives to be here with us today. Before we begin I would like to deal with the Crescent wolf rumors." She paused and raised an eyebrow and looked around the table. "The King and I are aware of who the wolf is, but as they wish, we will not disclose that information today." I heard a few wolves growl lowly and I held Cillian's hand tighter under the royal blue shirt. "I have also been made aware of another white wolf, some of you may not know this, but my mate King Riot was a white wolf. He was one of the strongest Alpha's to have ever been born, I would like to meet you white wolf, stand up." I looked around and I saw Alexa stand from her seat next to Darius, I also noticed she smelled the same as when she left, he hadn't marked her. 

"I see you are unmarked, yet you sit with Alpha Darius as his Luna, tell me why." King Talon said. Alexa blushed and coughed nervously before responding.

"I am unmarked because my mate hates me, I am here because I wanted to see my sister, who is a Luna and never contacts me." She said making puppy eyes. She looked at me, who was dead-panning back at her. 

"Alpha Darius do you hate your mate?" Queen Tempest asked in a rather confused tone.

"Both my wolf and I despise the mate we were given, she is weak and spoiled, a white wolf should be able to take down the strongest Alpha and yet this wolf can't even fight one warrior properly." Darius said shocking us all, his WOLF despised her. Then the wheels in my head began turning and I laughed out loud once I realized the goddesses plan.
