Chapter 12: Goddesses Plan

"Why is that funny Luna Ashlyn?" King Talon asked.

"That isn't, I just figured out why the goddess paired them is all." I said giggling.

"Do enlighten me please." Darius said.

"It's not that hard to figure out, even from here I can see Alexa had gained some more muscle mass, she wants to improve herself for her mate, once she is the warrior she was born to be, your wolf will be all over her. I told her once Alpha's value strength, you should have listened and took training more seriously." I said looking at her dumbfounded face.

"You put all the together in a matter of minutes?" Queen Tempest asked me.

"It wasn't too hard to figure out. Darius tell me who your wolf wants and why." I said. 

"You, he wants you for that day in the office." Cillian snarled at Darius at his confession. Alexa looked at me with hatred as I leaned back into my mate.

"Strength. Your wolf wants strength, keep training Alexa and you will have him on his knees begging you to accept him in a short while." I said looking at Alexa, who's expression went from hatred at a lighter loathing.

"How are you so sure of that?" Alexa somewhat sneered at me.

"Why would your mate choose me over you? Honestly what do I have that you don't? I only see a couple of things. One, I have the physical and mental strength you lack, due to being babied all the time. Two, I don't throw temper tantrums like a toddler when things don't go my way. Lastly, I don't feel the need to use my status every time I meet someone. I don't say "Hey I'm the twin sister of a white wolf....Nope I'm normal, but I have relation that must make me special right?" You on the other hand, "I'm the white wolf this. I'm the white wolf that." Stop using your wolf to get your way all the damn time." Alexa and Darius were looking at me in shock. I rested against Cillian as he rubbed my sides, his fingers on my belly. 

"Wait a second? Twin?" Lucas said from beside me. I looked over at him and nodded, he looked between Alexa and I and scratched his lightly bearded chin.

"And you're not a white wolf?" I shook my head no. 

"My first shift it was revealed my coat was grey, not white." I said not daring to tell a lie in a room full of Alphas.

"I find that strange." Lucas said looking at his brother who had wheels turning in his head.

"Why?" Alexa asked.

"You came from the same, womb and blood line, you should both have some sort of special fur color." Lincoln (Lucas's twin) said.

"Are you saying just because I don't have a white coat I'm not special?" I asked him raising my eyebrows. He gave me a shy smile and looked at the table with red cheeks.

"Tell us what makes you special then." Lucas said.

"Ummm, I can fight, like I'm the best warrior in the pack, I somehow got the future Alpha's attention over my sister, I lived in a cave for a few years....I'm a survivalist." I said pressing my lips together and nodding at Lucas who chucked. I felt Cillian's chest rumble and I ran my thumb over his left hand. 

"I see." Lucas said.

"What do you mean you got the Alpha's attention over me?" Alexa asked with a small pout. 

"Ashlyn has had my eyes since the day of the rouge attack. She killed how many...8 rouges...I think that day by herself, one with 5 broken ribs and a punctured lung." Cillian said proudly. "I knew from the moment, she saved my ass, she was perfect. She is perfect." I purred lightly for only Cillian to feel as he called me perfect.

"Rouge attack?" Someone asked.

"Yeah it was a few weeks after Alexa and I shifted for the first time, Blood rouges came on our land and attacked our home. They ended up retreating, after most of them were killed." My mate said from behind me.

"How long ago was that." Queen Tempest asked.

"It was about 3 years and 4 months ago now." Cillian said.

"That was about the time we took out Boss." Tempest had a sad look on her face. "How many rouge attacks have you had since then?" 

"One maybe, I mean we just went and helped Alpha David with a rouge situation before driving down here." Cillian responded. I just sat in his lap silently thinking about all the time I could've had with him if I hadn't shut him out all those years ago.

(I do. You had been betrayed by your own family, then you hear the guy you had a thing for was using you. I would have killed him, or at least tried to.)

Have I ever told you how much I adore you?

I zoned back into the conversation to find King Talon talking about ways for the packs to fund themselves and Alexa zoned out, Darius was looking down at the table and Cillian was resting back in his chair while listening and throwing a few suggestions in. I watched a short female Alpha address the queen as if they were old friends. I watched as Luna Sophie engaged in a little PDA with her Alpha Garrett, he was tall, but short for an Alpha 5 ft 11. Luna Sophie was my height and had legs for days, her dark hair was almost as dark as her eyes, her skin a creamy chocolate color. After another 2 hours the summit was over and the king and queen dismissed everyone. I said good-bye to Lincoln and Lucas as they left, Cillian and I let go of each other and stood. I was stiff for sitting for so long that I had to stretch, Cillian got tense again and I looked up to see Darius and Alexa walking over to us. 

"Congratulations on becoming Luna Ashlyn." Alexa said nicely, surprising me. "Why do you look so shocked?" She asked as she scrunched her face up.

"I haven't heard you say a nice thing to me since we were fifteen." I said still in shock. She rolled her eyes and sighed with exasperation.

"It's not like I hate you." I looked down at the floor and sighed.

"Don't lie Alexa, you hated me before we even shifted. I cleaned out the house after you left, I found an old journal page, I think I need to go." I didn't look up as I walked away with tears in my eyes. I walked back up to the room to realize Cillian had the key card. I took a few deep breaths and sighed, I could usually bury my emotions, but it has been different since I found that note. I felt arms wrap around me and tingles spread through my being. I sighed into Cillian's hard chest as he unlocked the door and pulled us inside, he turned on the lights and led us to the couch where he sat down and I curled into him.

"Tell me?" He asked hopefully. 

"I don't know, I guess I knew she hated me since we changed, but knowing the hatred was there when I loved her more than anything. I don't know how I didn't see it for all those years Cill." I whimpered on his chest.

"I didn't see it either, you both always looked so happy to be with each other. Hell I remember my mom saying she would feel bad for whoever your mates were. She thought we would all have to share a house with how inseparable you two were."

"I wanted to talk to you after everything happened, I just didn't know how to approach you back then." I whispered. 

"I'm glad you didn't, I was in a bad place, I probably would have snapped your head off. My mom was everything to my dad, when he went off the rails I had to take care of things I shouldn't have had to deal with. I was so angry all the time, all I wanted was my mom."

"She would be proud of the man, Alpha and mate that you have become Cillian, she would be so so so proud at the amazing father you are going to be too." He lifted my chin and his lips captured mine in a soft and sweet kiss. His hands cupped my face and I felt a tear fall from his eye and slide down my face, he pulled away from the kiss and stared into my eyes.

"It means the world to me, to hear you say that Ashlyn." I gave him a small smile and wiped another tear that had fallen.

"I meant every word Cillian." He closed his eyes and more tears fell, he pulled my lips to his before resting his forehead on mine. "I love you, with every fiber of my being Cill."

"I don't words can express how much you mean to me, nor how much infatuated with you I am." Before I could ask him to show me how much there was a knock on the door. Cillian lifted me and set me on a cushion before answering the door, he walked back into the room with King Talon and Queen Tempest. I stood and bowed before they came over and sat on the couch. Cillian sat back in his spot putting his arm around me.

"Luna Ashlyn, I hear you are the Crescent wolf." Tempest said.

"That I am Queen Tempest." I took off the wristband and showed her the mark on my wrist. 

"The rumors say you are a black wolf, which means Alpha blood." Talon said.

"The rumors are wrong about that." I said I walked into the bedroom and stripped before shifting and walking back out. Both Talon and Tempest gasped at my form, I walked up to Cillian and rested my large head in his lap. 

"My god...." Talon said.

"Silver, the rarest of all, the only recorded one is Slate." Tempest said. I nuzzled Cillian before walking back to the bedroom and shifting back. I put on my underwear and Cillian's shirt that went to my upper thigh but covered everything. 

"I am a direct descendant of Slate, which is why I am silver." I said as Cillian pulled me down on his hardening c**k. 

"You're saying Crescent wolves are a blood line?" Talon asked.

"They are, the only other Crescent wolf from Slate's blood-line I know of was named Caldor, from what I understand he had an illegitimate pup, which is the only reason I am alive today." 

"That is incredible, how do you know this?" Tempest asked.

"Seeing as I am from his line, Slate sometimes appears to me in dreams. He tells me things here and there, I don't control when I see him. It just kinda happens."

"Extraordinary." Talon said.

"How did no-one realize what you are the moment you shifted?" Tempest asked.

"Unlike other types of wolves, you have to earn your place as a Crescent wolf. I first shifted as a grey wolf, but gained more silver hairs as I became a better warrior and as I aged. Once I turned 18 I grew a bit more, then when Cillian and I marked and mated, I became a full silver wolf. Once I became Luna of Moon-lake I gained immunity to silver and my hair changed color." I stated.

"The strangest part, is that after we marked and mated for the first time my wolf transformed. He was always a pure black with amber eyes, but now...Let me show you." Careful not to lift my shirt too high Cillian lifted me from his lap and went to the bedroom, a few minutes later he walked out. I smiled at his massive wolf, to which Talon and Tempest were speechless. Cillian walked over and layed on the ground placing his head in my lap. 

"My goddess, this is the most amazing thing I have ever heard of." Tempest said. I yawned unexpectedly and covered my mouth. Talon laughed and grabbed Tempest's hand.

"Come on little mate, I think Luna Ashlyn needs some sleep." I heard Talon say. I waved bye as Cillian lightly yipped at them. Once I heard the door close my thighs were around a human Cillian's head. I felt his tongue slide in me and I sighed and put my hands in his hair. I think I don't need to say, not much sleeping got done that night.
