Lilly
“Rise and shine” I groaned as I opened my eyes looking down at Damon who was sat at the bottom of my bed. “What the hell Damon” I groaned rolling my eyes. “Yeah, he did it to us too” I looked over to see Elena and Stefan sat on the little seat I had in the corner.
“Ugh. What the hell?” I groaned flopping my head back down on my pillow. “There’s some very important business to discuss” I looked over at Damon raising my eyebrows. “And you woke me because?”
“Well we have lots to do, now that we’re all friends and working towards a common goal” I glared at him. “No I never agreed to help you, Stefan did” I reminded him sending him a glare.
He found out that there was another way to open the tomb thanks to Logan Fell who came back from the dead as a vampire, but unfortunately for Damon I killed Logan before he could tell him how to open the tomb.
Of course Damon went to see a witch called Bree who told him that there was a reversal spell in Emily’s grimoire, nobody knew where the grimoire was until a vampire who knew Katherine came to town taunting Elena, and as Stefan tortured him with a stake he blurted out that the location of the grimoire was in Johnathan Gilberts journal.
Stefan killed him since he had been invited into Elena’s home after posing as a pizza delivery guy, and here we are now.
“You’re helping” Damon told me before he stood up to stand at the bottom of my bed. “So in order to open the tomb we need to find the journal, to get the grimoire, to undo the spell. So first things first, since you are Elena Gilbert you’re on journal duty” Damon pointed over at Elena.
“Since when am I helping?” Elena asked making me turn towards her. “If I’m helping you are, and you are taking up residency in our house, so” I shrugged. “You don’t have to do anything you don’t wanna do” Stefan told her. “I’ll look for it today” She sighed.
“How do we know this journal will hold the location of the grimoire? Are we really gonna take the word of this vampire? He seemed a bit of a dim-wit” Stefan asked Damon.
“It does” I grumbled as I sat up on the edge of my bed knowing I might aswel get up. “What exactly is a grimoire anyway?” Elena asked confused. “Yeah, Lilly, what is a grimoire anyway?” Damon asked looking over at me.
I glared at him before looking at Elena. “It’s a book that witches keep their spells in. Every spell witches do is unique, not one has the same” I explained to her.
“What about our mystery vampire? Dim-wit obviously wasn’t working alone, so whoever’s out there, knows who we are” Stefan asked. “And I don’t like that disadvantage so…” He clapped his hands. “Chop chop” He called before walking out.
I looked over to Elena and Stefan. “He woke me up why?” I asked raising my eyebrows.
“I don’t know” Stefan mumbled before walking out of my room. I groaned before walking into my bathroom getting a quick shower before I changed into a Floral patch, off the shoulder blouse with some black skinny jeans and a pair of black Louboutins.
Walking downstairs I realised everyone had left making me sigh. I walked into the kitchen pouring myself a coffee which I drank before going to get myself a bloodbag.
Once I finished my morning routine I rushed off to the grill deciding to spend my day drinking since I couldn’t sleep my day away. “A bottle of whiskey” I told the bar man as I took a seat.
I ended up spending all night in the bar drinking a bottle of whiskey relaxing as I watched the humans do their own thing. It was odd to see how people act now compared to how they used to when I was human.
Women can get away with wearing trousers now, in fact they can get away with wearing nothing.
“What are you doing here?” I asked Damon as he came and sat next to me at the bar. “Just to meet Jeremy’s new friend who’s interested in the journal” I scrunched my eyebrows together, not following.
Before I could say anything, my eyes landed on Jeremy who was stood talking to a young girl I knew all too well. “Annabelle” I whispered shocked. I hadn’t seen Annabelle since 1864, the night the vamps were rounded up, she’s the daughter of one of Katherine’s vampire friends.
Looking back at Damon I realised he left making me roll my eyes knowing exactly where he went, to find where Annabelle was staying.
I grabbed the bottle drinking the last mouthful just as my phone beeped, I pulled it out of my pocket reading the message.
I know where it is, meet me at father’s grave. -Stefan
I sighed rolling my eyes, of course it is, he always said he’d take his secrets to his grave. I walked out of the grill making sure nobody was around before I rushed off to his grave.
“Please don’t tell me you want me to dig the wanker up” I spoke as I stepped out from behind a tree noticing the shovels that was near Elena.
“That’s exactly what we’re doing” Stefan nodded holding out one of the shovels. “No” I shook my head. “I didn’t make the deal Stefan, I want no part in this. I came to town to stop him from opening it, and now you just want to let him win. No” I shook my head.
“I’m helping you to stop him Lilly! If we get the journal before he we can destroy it” Stefan spoke walking over to me making me sigh. “You owe me big” I grumbled as I pulled the shovel out of his hand.
Nobody spoke as we dug up the mud, it looked like it was really hitting Stefan the thought of digging up our father, the man he killed, it’s gotta do some damage, plus Stefan loved him but Katherine came and ruined that aswel.
Thankfully with the 2 of us it didn’t take long until we hit the coffin. “Yeah, you’re on your own” I told him as I moved away not wanting to see the skeleton of Giuseppe, I was glad the bastard was dead, but I don’t want to see his skeleton.
“Is that it?” Elena asked as she held a flashlight, but instead of answering her Stefan opened the coffin revealing a Skelton. He grabbed the grimoire before placing it on the floor, closing the coffin back up.
“Well what do you know?” I snapped my head to the left to see Damon walking towards us. “This is an interesting turn of events”
“You’re not bringing her back Damon” I told him. “I’m sorry” Stefan spoke up still sounding upset after digging up Giuseppe’s grave. “So am I for thinking for even a second that I could trust you”
“You’re not capable of trust” Stefan laughed sarcastically. “The fact that you’re here means that you read the journal and you we’re planning on doing this yourself” Stefan pointed out. “Of course I was gonna do it by myself, cause’ the only one I can count on is me!”
I rolled my eyes. “You have nobody but yourself to blame for that, Damon” I pointed out, Damon glared at me before looking over at Elena looking at her with betrayal. “Now you, you really had me fooled” Damon told her and his eyes were shiny with unshed tears.
“So what you gonna do now because if you destroy it, I’ll rip her heart out” Damon looked at me and Steffie, referring to Elena’s heart. “You won’t kill her” Stefan spoke strongly making me roll my eyes. So what if she dies just don’t let Katherine get out. Damon doesn’t get to win!
Damon ended up rushing behind Elena feeding her his blood before threatening to snap her neck so she becomes a vampire, and of course Saint Stefan had to give Damon the grimoire to make sure Elena was still a precious human.
So Damon won, again!

Last night Anna kidnapped Bonnie and Elena to try and get the grimoire but in the end Damon still had the grimoire and Stefan went to save them thanks to the help of Sheila Bennett who did a little locating spell on her granddaughter.
She agreed to open the tomb so Damon could get Kathrine out, but we had to burn the other 26 vampires, Damon agreed to have the Bennett witches help thanks to Elena who somehow got him to agree. I don’t know how she did it but I had a feeling it had something to do with his emotions, no matter how much he denies it, he has a soft spot for Elena because of who she resembles.
Anna showed up at the tomb just after the witches opened the door, she brought along an unconscious Jeremy and her little lap dog, who I ended up killing after he attacked me, and she managed to go down to the tomb to get her mother back.
“Where’s Elena?” Stefan asked bringing me out of my thoughts. “Damon took her inside” Bonnie told him sadly. “What!” He went to run into the tomb but Sheila stopped him by grabbing his arm. “Stefan, if you go in there, you won’t come out”
I stared at the witch in shock knowing what she had done. “What did you do?” Stefan asked confused. “Opening the door didn’t remove the seal, it just opened the door” Sheila told him making me clench my fist.
I could wait to be rid of Damon, but I wasn’t gonna let him be in the tomb for the rest of his life, and plus when he dies I want to be the one who has the pleasure of doing it.
“What’s the seal?” Stefan asked the witches before looking at me knowing I’d know. “Some seals keep us from entering, this one stops us from coming out” I told him truthfully staring at the 2 Bennett witches.
“Elena’s human, she can leave. Anna and Katherine can’t. Damon can’t… You were never planning on breaking the spell were you?” Stefan stared at Sheila. “I told you, I will protect my own, Elena can get out, that’s all that matters”
I stared at the witch in anger. “That’s all that matters?! The little human girl can stay in there for all I care, just get my brother out of there! Remove the god damn seal!” I snapped glaring at Sheila just as Elena let out a scream making Stefan walking into the tomb. “STEFAN!”
I looked over at Bonnie and Sheila. “Undo the seal, now!” I snapped glaring at them both. “We’re not strong enough, even if we were able to bring down the seal, there’s no guarantee that we could get it back up!” Sheila told me making me glare.
“Open the damn seal or I’ll kill you both and the rest of your lineage! Many things fuel witches powers so get to it!” I spoke through my teeth, I felt so angry. Both of my brothers were currently stuck in a tomb with 27 vampires.
Thankfully they agreed to do it as they started looking through the grimoire, leaving me sat here thinking about what a dumb move I’d just pulled. I could leave the 2 of them in the tomb, be done with them forever, but the thought of that makes me realise that I do miss spending time with them both, and no matter how much I can hate them at times, I’d never actually be able to leave them in a tomb to desiccate, I’d rather kill them then put them through that.
“Elena, Stefan…” I snapped my head up to see Elena walking out of the tomb. “He’s right behind me” She told her just as Stefan appeared at the door of the tomb, stopped by the seal. Elena looked at him confused not understanding why he didn’t walk out. “Stefan, what are you doing?”
“It’s gonna be okay, we’ll fix it” Bonnie promised her. “What is it?” She asked panicking. “I can’t” Stefan told her quietly. “Can’t? Can’t what?” She asked still confused.
“The spells still up, we can’t get them out yet” Bonnie told her. “You went in there not knowing whether you could get back out?” Elena asked shocked, but I don’t know why, it’s clear to see Stef would do anything for the human. “I heard you scream”
Elena sent Stefan to get Damon while the witches worked with removing the seal and thankfully they figured out how to, but unfortunately as it lifted Anna walked out with a weak looking Pearl. “I just wanted my mother back” Anna spoke staring at me making me glare at her, she should have stayed in there with Pearl.
Thankfully a couple of minutes later Stefan came walking out with an upset Damon just as the torches went out. “Thank god” I sighed looking over at Damon confused as he walked out. “She wasn’t in there” Stef explained before he and Elena rushed off to check on Jeremy.
I looked over at the witches giving them a little nod in thanks before following my brothers and Elena, to see her hugging Damon.
She’s just like Katherine.
