The mystical ring of tilemetafora.

THE DARK CLOUD

The dark cloud was hovering all over the ring thereby making everyone sick. Jeremy has tried to use the ring in curing them but the ring has only been little or no good. he was devastated and that was when he realized that the fate of the ring now falls on him. The sickness did not only affect the fairies but also their wands.

with everyone within the ring sick; Darca saw that as an opportunity to strike the ring. he started organising his finest warriors, he also started arranging his finest armor. he saw the period as an opportunity to crush the ring and take over the ring. he started making battle plans; he planned to send the Minotaurs first, then the trolls before coming in for the with the Cerberus and chimera for the finishing touches.

Jeremy determined to get a solution for the ailments that was hovering all over the city, he met with the elders but the have no explanation. he asked about the diviner and he was given direction. He met with the diviner who revealed to him that they city was poisoned by mandrake's root. he instructed that the root was enchanted, she instructed that he would have to journey to the south coast to where the enchantment was made and destroy the mandrake. only then will the yoke be lifted.

Jeremy prepared himself and left for the Wastelands. he couldn't tell Diana cause he knew she would try to stop him. Jeremy crossed the boundary, he used the ring to create an a temporary shield at the torn veil. he made the shield temporary so he could use it when coming back. he left for the wastelands.

Jeremy was confronted by two trolls, in order not to waste time and also not to draw attention; he wished for the ground to swallowed them and rubbed his ring. the ground cracked and the fell in, the ground gently closed up. he continued his journey till he got closer to the castle, he saw a legion of soldiers. In order not to be noticed, he transformed himself to one of the cyclops and walked into their midst unnoticed. he continued walking around spying on the arena, he noticed the Cerberus and Chimeras. he also noticed how hard the beast were training their armies. He continued until he entered the castle. he walked from room to room spying on their weapons. he used his power to make the weapons super heavy. He saw a man with a strange ear giving instructions to one of the beast; he wondered how the man got into that world and how he wasn't afraid of the beast. he left them continued his journey.

Jeremy is now at the attic of the building, he saw about boiling at the center of the room. he searched everywhere where but found nothing that looked like root. he use his power to search the room again and this time, he found it boiling inside some strange liquid. as he made to approach it; he heard a voice behind him.

"what are you doing here?"

He turned and saw a lady clad in black hoodie. he responded;

"Darca sent me"

Lydia was surprised because she know the beast don't speak their language, they don't address Darca by his name and also, Darca don't allow anybody access the room when he's not in it except for her so she asked again;

"Darca?, what is that?"

Jeremy picked up a book of spells and showed her saying it was the message Darca asked for. Lydia allowed him to go, as he was about to leave, Lydia send a wave of energy to knock him out but he stopped it with his bare hand and sent it back which threw Lydia away crashing her with the pot. the content of the pot poured on the floor, Lydia tried to stand but Jeremy gave an uppercut in air and Lydia felt the punch because she flew from where she was and hit the wall passing out. Jeremy ran and picked up the mandrake root which screamed all over the building, he then casted it into fire

He then ran out of the building and saw the strange eared man coming and activated his invisibility, the man came and stopped for a while, he looked around and continued his journey to the attic. Jeremy became visible and ran towards the exit. he saw the beast and made to run back but they beast acted like they saw nothing, that was when he remembered that he transformed into a beast. So he gently walked out of their midst while they suspected nothing.

Darca was downstairs when he heard the mandrake's scream, he rushed upstairs towards the attic and noticed the presence of the ring at the door, he stopped and looked around but saw nothing. Due to the urgency of the magical chamber, he continued his journey. When he entered the attic, he saw Lydia unconscious on the floor with the chamber pot empty. He rushed to the window and gave his soldiers and intruder alert which made the beast to activate their super sense of smell.

Jeremy was approaching the gate when one of the guards with a huge axe kept approaching him slowly, he looked around and saw all the beast gathering around him. He had a hunch that they must have fished him out as the odd one, he checked the gate and observed that the axe armed bodyguard. he changed to his normal self and dashed towards the guard, before the guard could move, he snatched the axe chopped his head then made to the gate. All the beast went after him, those that were close to the castle rushed in to grab their weapons but to their utmost surprise; they couldn't lift their weapons.

Jeremy dashed into the desert while they ran after him. A cyclops jumped out from the sand and Jeremy summoned lightening on him. Another cyclops jumped in the air and was about to fall on Jeremy, Jeremy jumped up and use the axe to slashed him in half. A Minotaur grabbed tree trunk and hit Jeremy with it, the effect of the strike threw Jeremy in air, while in air, he threw the axe and it hit a Cyclops on his head, he fall besides the dead cyclops, he leapt on his feet then picked up his sword; he looked around and noticed that the beast were now surrounding him.

Jeremy looked around and found out he was in a tight position, he raised his fist up and thunder struck on the ring which created an energy wave around him scattering the beasts, he ran out of where he was standing and a whirlwind erupted from there, the whirlwind escalated into tornado which carried half of the beast. He was now getting close to the shield, he ran into tropical forest with tall woods. One of the beast that was laying siege on the shield tried to jumped on him but he rolled out in time. The beast shriek and head for Jeremy, Jeremy ran farther into the woods and hid by the trees. the Cyclops ran towards Jeremy's direction yelling, Jeremy held his sword firmly positioning himself for an attack. Just as the cyclops made to pass the tree Jeremy was hiding, Jeremy fling his sword and chopped off the head of the beast. Another cyclops jumped in front of him, he charged towards the cyclops and at the same time; the cyclops charged also towards him, getting close to the cyclops; he slide on two knees and slashed the cyclops by the belly. The cyclops fall on his knees while he went back for finishing touches. He stabbed the cyclops on the back; the blade pass through the heart and pierced out from the front. He tried to pulled his sword but when he saw the number of soldiers trying to get to him; he left the sword and head for the shield which is already in sight.

They fairies have regained their strengths, the all flew around checking on one another. Diana searched for Jeremy all over Ezra but he was nowhere to be found, she decided to head for the field. At the field, she heard some noise outside the ring, she and some of the soldiers tried to check it out when two cyclops and a troll just fell in through the open veil. They tried to use their magic against them but their wand were all powerless.

Jeremy jumped in from the air, passing through the veil and slashed off the head of the troll before he could land, while kneeling with one knee, he spun and slashed off the leg of one of the cyclops. the other cyclops tried to attack him but he got up with an uppercut using the hilt of his sword. He dashed towards the cyclops and stabbed it at the lower jaw with the sword protruding from the back of his head. He looked and saw a Minotaur that just entered the ring trying to attack Crane; He grabbed the axe belonging to the cyclops he just killed and aimed it at the miniature's heart maiming it instantly.

Jeremy spun and saw that about eight beast were already inside the ring, he kissed his ring and hit it on the ground which shakes the ground and threw everyone both fairies and the beast off their feet. he pointed his tightened fist towards the beast and the ring emitted lightening that struck all the beast. He pointed his fist towards the boundary and shouted;

"I wish for the boundary to be healed and remain sealed as before"

thunder emitted from the ring and struck at the shield while the shield started gradually; to close. Some of the beast were half way into the ring when the shield closed chopping them into two; the part that was within the ring fall inside the shield while the part that was outside fell beyond the ring. And Jeremy fell to the ground passing out.

Out side the ring, Darca and Lydia were flying on the Chimeras when saw the shield closed. Darca shouted on top his voice;

"No!!!!"

Lydia respond with a smirk;

Save me that noise, you can still use your power to reopen the shield if you want to "

Darca replied her;

"Enough woman!, wreaking the shield is not something that can be done at will, I'm still trying to regain all the strength I lost the last time I opened the shield. Ready the men and prepare the trebuchets; until the shield fall, they will never leave"

With that, he flew away with his Chimeras.
