Jeremy woke up in his chamber and saw Diana right in the in the same position she was the last time she passed out. She seemed to be lost in thought, Jeremy faked a cough which drew her attention. She smiled at Jeremy before leading him outside. Jeremy asked for the period of time he spent unconscious and he was told that it was two days. They went outside and all the fairies seemed to be lost in thought. Jeremy asked for what was wrong but Diana assured her that it was nothing that he shouldn't bother.

when they came to the fields, he saw the soldiers practicing with their wand but nothing magical was happening. One of the soldiers turned and saw him; he called the attention of other soldiers. They all turned and starred at him while Crane started talking walking closer to him;

"well, well, well. Give it all for the hero that saved the day, the one that drove the beast out of our wall, the one that sealed the shield and restored our hopes"

Jeremy and all the fairies were surprised because they know Crane never really like Jeremy. Crane then continued;

"he restored the hope of our people and we must be grateful but I will be lying if I tell you am grateful; cause am not"

Chance replied Crane;

"what's wrong with you Crane? why are you filled with so much bitterness? the kid saved us yesterday, he even saved your life"

Crane then cuts in;

"which he endangered; he endangered me, he endangered all of us. The ring had always been a peaceful place to live till his migrated over. he brought death to our homes, now we lost our leader, we are now having a teenager as a leader because of him"

Diana intervened stating that she sees that as an insult to the throne and won't pardon that if he repeated it. He then told Diana;

"you're a kid and you still behave as one, you can't differentiate the truth from your emotions. your love for this kid has clouded your judgement, our love ones died, we got infected by strange disease and he wasn't affected, now our powers are all gone. if you think he's a blessing to us then something is definitely wrong with you"

Diana sparks in an anger and replied;

"that's it, I can't take it anymore, I'm reviving you of your duty and any more word you say will attract you suspension until you learn manners. we are in the middle of war and the least you could do for us is to complicates things "

He then told her that it's not done that way in the military group that their rules is that anyone that can beat the commander will replaced the commander. he asked if any one was willing to challenged him and the soldiers nominated Jeremy. He accused Jeremy of you using the ring power but Jeremy promised to fight fair and square.

They made a space for the conquest in the arena and rung a bell to kick start the fight.

Crane rushed towards Jeremy but Jeremy gave him a reverse powerbomb. He leapt on his feet and went after Jeremy again, he jumped up but grabbed him by the throat while he was still on air and gave him a choke slam. just as he tried to stand, Jeremy jumped on him and gave him tornado DDT. Crane managed to got up, Jeremy made to attacked him but he pleaded on Jeremy to wait, as Jeremy stopped, he jumped on Jeremy pushing him down, Jeremy freed himself and attacked him with code breaker. as he was staggering, Jeremy dashed towards him and take him down with a spare move.

Diana ran and hugged Jeremy, she asked him how he learnt the moves and he replied that it was from practicing what he sees on video games. He then turned to the soldiers and said;

"in my world, we have no magics or supernatural powers, what we got is our will power, our determination; our persistence to succeed. and that is what our enemies fears. Our enemies might have made your power dormant, but not your will. it's about time we learn how to defend ourselves with magic. There's a saying in my world; do not fear a man that knows a thousand moves, rather tremble before that man that practice his only move a thousand times. Cause there's no limitation to a man determined to succeed. The first light tomorrow morning, I am going to teach you guys how we defend ourselves in my world. I'm about to make you a living war craft. ".

While Jeremy was with Diana, he suggested about using the ring to restore their wands but Diana went against it stating that since the mandrakes were used to nullify their wands, it will involved destroying the mandrake. He clarified it to him that the mandrakes has other effects such as sleepiness and hallucinations and using magic to stop one might start the other effects that were not there in the first place or escalates the one that was already there.

He asked Jeremy how he was able to obtained the cure for the curse that affected their land, Jeremy told her the whole story while she marvelled. She told Jeremy that with the ring, he can access passage through the boundary whether locked or not.

The next day, Jeremy built human like structures with sticks all over the field, he painted some parts where he called weak points. He called the wood their opponents and he built wooden swords which he gave all the fairy soldiers and asked the to attack the weak points. They all did that easily, he then made the opponents to start spinning, he asked them to attack their opponents but they only made little effort. He then made the sticks to spun faster and he made them head for the fairies, the fairies were all beaten by the stretched out arm of those sticks. He then picked up a wooden sword and caused the sticks to attacked him.

He used his sword to defend himself from the arms of the soldier sticks while he used his feet to kick them down. He told them that their problem was that they weren't agile enough to avoid the sticks. He then waved his hand and agility training kits appeared all over the field. He told them that he has fought with the beast and one thing the beast can't stand is swiftness. The beast being huge fights by crushing their enemies, but if they can avoid their strikes; the beast will easily be defeated because they are not agile.

He started training them on their agilities. he made them passed through a series of swinging pendulum bobs, jumped from one swing to another, run through circular holes.

While they were training, Diana approached them and requested to join the training but he refused say that she was female and also the queen. Diana insisted say that they beast won't consider a woman, a kid or the queen if they attacks. Jeremy saw point with that and let her joined the training.

Days have passed and the fairies were all good in term of agility. They participated in rope jumps, javelin high jump, rope swing and skip jumps. They were now training on their own by throwing multiple fruits at one another while they will try to slice all the fruits before they reach the ground and at the same time avoids the fruits from touching them. In some cases, a fairy would flew up while countless fruits will be thrown to them and they would try to dodge all the fruits.

When he saw that the fairies are agile enough, he decided to train them on defense. He gave them shields and taught them how to use it to block the attacks they can't avoid. he know taught them the attacking mode, in this section; he divided them into two sections; the archers and the swordsmen.
