When the boundary closed on Darca, he left for the castle why Lydia followed behind. Back at the castle, Darca was mad at Lydia for everything that happened blaming her for not letting alarm about the intruder. he asked her to find a way to wreak the shield.
Lydia searched the chamber room but couldn't find her book of spells, She tried to track the book but her tracking powers ended at this boundary which gave her the hunch that her book must be inside the boundary. She recalled that the cyclops that attacked her was holding her book. She alerted Darca telling him about the missing book. she lamented saying;
"oh no, without the spells that the book contained, I'm nothing. I'm powerless without the book"
Darca then cut in;
"And you are useless to us without your powers"
This infuriated Lydia but she didn't express how disappointed she was with Darca's replied. She simply begged Darca to use the power he has as result of his connection to ring to infiltrate the ring and stole her book back for her. Darca explained to her that he will need seven days rest before his connection to the ring will be restored. He explained to her that even Zod who founded the ring still needs his rest after using the ring for great task.
Darca put Lydia in charge before going for his seven days rest. The armies of Darca stood at the boundary with trebuchets and ballista hurling stones and fireballs into the boundary. Lydia gave other to the blacksmiths to mould new weapons since the one they has have magically gained the weight of thousand tons. The blacksmiths started collecting minerals from rock such as micas, olivine, pyroxene, feldspar in order to build very strong weapons.
Darca woke up to see the castle in desolation, he called attention of his guards but no guard except for one was around. he told him that the rest of the guards and soldiers are at the boundary trying to bring it down. He started walking around the castle till he came outside and saw some trolls building swords, axe, hammer, flail, mace and chain, different type of spears. Body armour such as breastplate and helmet were also being produced. Darca knew within himself that Lydia was a better war commander than him but he doesn't want to admit it.
He mount a Chimera and headed for the boundary, he saw about a region of army with about a dozen trebuchets and ballista hurling stones and fireballs continually towards the boundary. The trebuchets and ballista were arranged in four rows. while the first one will be firing, The trolls will be loading others and before the fourth row will be fired; the first one will already be ready.
Darca commended Lydia for job done well, He told Lydia that he will get her spell's books for her. He walked to the shield and stretched his hand, he touched the shield and his hand went through; he walked pass the shield and disappeared into the ring.

Jeremy was at the field making arrangements about the fairies next training when he saw countless explosions at the shield. He walked towards the shield and said;
"those guys are encouraging, they never give up. I like that"
He looked and saw a hand pass through the boundary from the other side, a moment later, the man with strange ear appeared through the boundary. Jeremy was taken back and he shouted;
"how could you...?"
The man replied;
"if it isn't my little nephew; the kid who has been a pain in my neck"
Jeremy asked;
"Darca? "
the man replied him back;
"it's lord Darca; but for some people, I will make an exception. why don't you call me uncle Darca?"
Jeremy replied him;
"so you're Darca? I must say I'm disappointed. when I heard about the famous Darca, I was expecting a huge, muscular young man not a boy or will I say; a teenager."
Darca frowned and then smiled saying;
"children, children. always annoying and offensive. but as a big uncle I am; I will pardon that. now kid...."
Jeremy couldn't wait for Darca to finish and summoned a lightening storm against him but something like a shield covered him. he launched another thunder but still the same. He dashed towards him, launched himself in air and made to punch him but the shield created a wave that blew Jeremy away. Jeremy sat up and wondered what happened; then Darca said;
"my oh my, today's kids no longer wanna learn from their parents. haven't you asked yourself why Louisiana, your mother; my sister didn't use the ring to stop me but instead; choose to ran with it to your world and raised an imp to stop me? haven't you talked to your mother? oh; I forgot I imprisoned her, and you can't get to her."
Jeremy screamed and picked up a training wooden sword running towards Darca to attack him but the shield still threw him back.
Darca smiled and said to Jeremy;
" I don't wanna hurt you but I will. You invaded my home and took something that belongs to me, now to teach you manners like any good uncle would do; here! "
He used his wand to launch a fire ball against Jeremy but a stronger shield covered Jeremy and released a telekinesis wave which blew off everything around him including the training materials and also; Darca.

Diana was with the council members when they heard a thunder storm, they ignored it but when the telekinesis wave blew in the council chambers knocking them off their seats; they all headed for the field.
They came to the field and saw Jeremy battling with Darca, Darca saw them and tried to attack them but Jeremy channelled his powers to Darca's and that prevented both Jeremy and Darca from using their powers. All the fairies rushed to Darca hitting him with their wooden swords. Darca tried to move but couldn't, He raised his wand and screamed; thunder struck the wand and the wave threw Darca, Jeremy, and the fairies in the floor. Darca leapt on his feet and stretched his hand, Lydia's book of spells flew into his hand and he dashed towards the boundary. Jeremy leapt on his feet and followed him, getting to the boundary, Darca dropped three tiny objects and disappeared into the boundary. Jeremy tried to stop himself but it was too late, he fell into the boundary.
Jeremy was surprised to see himself fall outside the ring, he got up and saw Darca on strange creature with two heads, pair of wings and serpent tail flying away. he looked and saw the a legion of armies with their sophisticated weapons, he smiled and said to himself;
"may be I couldn't hurt you due to whatever reason, but I sure can hurt your men"
He raised his hand and the wing started howling from the ground which gradually turned into whirlwind before turning to tornado. Jeremy chuckled and walked back into the ring.
