AMARIS POINT OF VIEW

After breakfast, Maycee dragged me to The City Mall. Andl knowing her, it will definitely take us a lot of time inside, thats why i made sure to take a book with me so i have something to do while waiting for her.

We went inside a famous clothing store. I made my way to the couch as soon as Maycee fumbles with the rack of clothes. I took out my book from my bag and opened from where I last read it.

"Excuse me Miss, but reading inside the store is not allowed." I just started reading when one of the saleswoman approached me.

"But my friend is over there, looking for some staff she needs. So I just think i could read while waiting for her," I defended.

"I understand maam. But it really is not allowed. We can't risk our jobs because security camera's are all over the place."

"Oh no. Of course, im sorry."

"There's a lounge area on the right side when you go out maam, if you want to suit yourself maam,"she smiled gesturing with her hands.

"That would be great, thanks."

I got up and searched for Maycee.

I'd rather wait outside than bore myself here staring at all these displayed garments.

I got out of the store and proceeded to the lounge area which is thankfully, not loaded at all. I choose to sit on the corner as to give me more privacy.

"Alpha," the pack doctor bowed as their Alpha entered the room.

"How's your Luna?" he asked in a tired voice. His disheveled hair, stubbles and weary eyes cant be hidden.

Its been 4 days since a group of rogues attacked their pack. Many of the women and pups were hurt including their Luna who were trying to protect the pups during the was. She was injected with a great amount of wolfsbane that had her great fall into comatose. Her healing capabilities weakend because she is currently pregnant.

"All her wounds have totally healed and there is no more trace of wolfbane on her anymore. But i dont know why she is still unconscious."

The Alpha nodded, signaling the pack doctor that he can leave now.

Rogues…. Rogues… Rogues

'How dare them do this to my pack. Im not going to stop until i have killed every single one of them' the Alpha thought to himself while holding the Luna's hands.

"Hey,Mate!" Im engrossed reading when I heared someone called from behind me.

"Umh, yeah?" I turned around while fixing my glasses. But no one is there. I looked around and there's no one except for the mother and baby that's on my left side. The mom was sure to have heard me because she's looking at me with questioning eyes. I shake my head as i closed the book and put it inside my bag. I look at my watch and its been more than half an hour since I came out of the store and yet, Maycee's still inside. I crossed my arms on my chest and looked around when I saw the three men in suit from the restaurant. I caught a glimpse of the side view of the one in black suit before the elevator door closed. I had goosebumps all over me and i felt a little bit lightheaded. I tried to rub my hands and braced myself for the strange feeling that had me.

"Amaris," I abruptly pushed the hand that touched my shoulders in surprise.

"Hey, whats wrong?" Its Maycee, I didn't even noticed her approach me as I was busy staring at the elevator.

"Nothing. There's nothing. Are you done?" I asked her.

"You seemed lost. I called you a lot of times on my way here but it seems your not hearing anything. And why were you staring at the elevator? Did you see someone you knew?"

"No. No. Its nothing. I just thought I saw someone I knew." I get up and go around to Maycee.

"Lets go then," Maycee tangled her hand with me before guiding me towards the elevator.

I've been sitting on the porch for hours now, staring at no particular thing. I still cant seem to figure out what the heck happened earlier at the mall.

'Who was that man?"

'Why does he seemed familiar yet I'm sure today is the first day that I met him.'

'And why did I feel strange when I caught a sight of him?'

"And that voice", I gasped standing quickly.

"I knew I really heard it, but why there is no one when I looked around?" I kept pacing back and forth as if it can do something about or rather give me answer to my questions.

"Arrrgggghhh" I gripped my hair and looked up.

I think I'm going crazy. Why would I let a stranger distract me like this? Or maybe Maycee's right, because of too much reading about werewolves that I sometimes can't comprehend which is which.
