The prince's royal butler stood beside a young boy with golden locks and the bluest eyes that matched the vast sky as a tailor measured the child and proceeded to fit a suit to him. "what do you think Hansly?" the young boy smiles at his reflection. "You look good young master,his majesty will agree as well" the butler smiles with approval at the hard working tailor. After the prince was set for a ball that was to happen soon Hansly is guiding him to a room they call the "meeting hall" which was a huge room that the emperor greets commoners and guests in. "Why does father want me to join him today Hansly?" the young boy looks up at his butler as they walk through the halls, "his majesty wants you to learn the ways of dealing with commoners, today is the day he meets with a variety of them for various reasons usually to help them sort of like listening to their problems". The young boy looks skeptical "problems? my father rules fairly and justly what kind of problems could the commoners possibly have in such a glorious kingdom". Hansly looks uncertain but knows his master is still to young to understand "well things are different for them beyond the castle walls harsh weather effecting crops and their homes, poverty in certain areas, and in general fights about people believing your father is not doing well". The prince scoffs "they must be unintellegient to believe my father does not do well". They come upon the meeting hall and Hansly opens the door and presents his master, emperor James greets his son and asks him to sit beside him on his left. "My son I shall teach you today the meetings I have with commoners this is very valuable to remember without the commoners I have no title, no food, no reason to exist", the prince looks at his father with uncertainty thinking how can such low people with no money or title can have a harsh grip on his father, the prince smiles at his father "yes father I am looking forward to learning something of such value". The day goes on commoner after commoner presenting issues, giving provisions, and just thanking their emperor for his kindness, the prince sits there

listening in on the conversations half heartedly until Lilac and Mr. watcher walk in and bow and he takes interest in Lilac. "hello your majesty its a pleasure to see you again, we have brought great vegatables and fruits for you and I would love to introduce my daughter to you", Mr. watcher motions Lilac forward and she curtsies for the king and prince, "my daughter has talent for farming and as of right now is my heir to the farm you have graciously blessed upon my family". King James smiles and bows his head "thank you as always for your hard work and its a pleasure to meet you young lady I am happy your father has a good worker helping him out" Lilac nods and looks down at the ground but notices the prince staring at her, she thought to herself "why on earth is he staring at me?". The king and Mr. watcher talk for a few minutes and a maid brings out two cups of tea for Lilac and her father and are invited to sit down at a table in the hall. The men laugh and talk while Lilac sits there quietly sipping her tea. The prince flashes her a smile "its good isnt it? my father had it imported from a different country. "Its good thank you your majesty", the prince felt like she was scared of him and decided then and now he would get her to open up to him. "My name is Onyx" he says this with pride as if that was to impress her. Lilac gives a little a smile "pleasure to know your name your majesty thank you". Onyx sits there confused, he expected her to swoon or act as if he was god but this girl just set there with perfect manners in all honesty it irked him. The men shake hands and Mr. watcher thanks the emperor, Lilac and her father bow and both leave to head back home. "That was a very important guest my son" he smiles at Onyx my father the previous king James gave his father land and they have became very fruitful and provide us with some of the finest vegetables and fruits I am rather honored to have somebody like that in my kingdom" he pats his sons shoulder and leaves the hall. Halsey appears and lets onyx know he is free for the rest of the day. Onyx looks at the door where Lilac just left and mumbles under his breath "I think i'm in love".
